I called last Sunday at 9:00 am to schedule an appointment to look at our AC unit the following week because it was not emergent. I received a call back at 3:00 pm. I set up an appointment with Jeff to have someone come to my house at 9:00 am today (Wednesday). At 9:30 am no one had been to the house so I called and got no answer and it went to a voicemail box that is full. It is 10:45 am and I have still not had anyone come to my house or call back. It is unfortunate, because I would have been a new client for them. I contacted them based off their good reviews on AL.

From beginning to end, it all went well!!! Very fast and prompt service and extremely professional!!! This company is very honest and will only fix what needs fixed, where some companies will try to get deep into your pocket when it's NOT necessary. TRUST THESE GUYS!!! 5 stars all the way!!

The service and installation was outstanding. The cost of the new furnace was very reasonable. The company went out of its way to get the new furnace installed as soon as possible. I had to wait just one day, after I hired Alternative Heating and Cooling.

I first contacted Alternative Heating and Cooling on a Tuesday afternoon asking for them to come inspect our air conditioning unit for issues. They stated that they could come out Wednesday morning at 8:00 AM and I thought that was great. Wednesday morning came and no one showed up and no one called by 10:00 AM, so I gave them a call. He stated that they don't work near high voltage or outside when there is rain and lightning. I completely understand that, but still would have appreciated a call saying that they would not be coming out. No problem, the owner would be out himself at 8:00 on Thursday morning. No show and no call by 10:00 AM Thursday, so I have to call again to see where they are. They owner states that he had to send his guys out to a 90 years old house that has cancer and her air conditioning went out at 7:00 AM and they didn't call him to let him know that they wouldn't be at our house. He then stated that he could send someone over right away and I declined. I would prefer to go with someone that communicates better and is prompt. I get that there might be someone that needs their A/C serviced before me, but I would appreciate a call telling me that they are not going to be here when they said they would.

They did an absolute amazing job. Could not be happier with there service and quality of work the whole crew was very fast and professional. Their communication skills were excellent. Their expertise was evident. They just did a phenomenal job from beginning to end.

Darrell and the "boss" showed up first to remove the old furnace and air conditioner and do some crawl space work. Jeremy came a little later to get the installation process moving. At first they didn't think they could get it all done in one day. But by 5:00 everything was completed. My new system is working great and the customer service is amazing. I would recommend alternative heating and cooling to anybody.

Darrell at Alternative Heating & Air installed an Air Conditioner & Furnace (Lennox) in the fall of 2011. When out for the annual early spring maintenance this spring (2013) it was determined that the Air Conditioner compressor was not functioning and the unit had at some point run out of coolant. The only solution was that the entire unit would need to be replaced. Darrell immediately had his technician (Jeremy) go over the entire system to determine what may have caused this issue. Jeremy after the extensive inspection determined what appeared to be an issue going back to the original install and immediately let Darrell know what he found. Darrell without hesitation decided that the unit would be replaced at no cost to me. I am very impressed with the way this entire situation was handled and the fact Alternative stood by their work. I do not believe this would have been handled by one of the larger companies in this same manor without some type of confrontation. I highly recommend Darrell and his folks to anybody wanting to have any HVAC work done. Choosing Alternative for my HVAC solution was one of the best decisions I have ever made. They did a good job. The owner was actually one of the workers on the job. Any questions of concerns I may have had, he addressed them immediately.

They arrived at the time promised and completed their work in a very professional manner.They arrived between 8 and 8:30. They completed the work by 4:30 and cleaned up any mess although there was not much to clean up. I have no complaints at all, the system is working as promised and they answered all my questions. Although I have only had this system for a few weeks, at this time I am completely satisfied with the work performed. If you are considering a new heating and cooling system do not hesitate to hire this contractor.

Darryl, the owner of the company, comes out and does the work. The system he installed is a quality system. He is very, very good. He has been out a couple of times to make sure everything is running OK. He is very personable. He is very customer service oriented and I really look for that. He is punctual, responsive, and professional. I would use this provider again.

I had several companies large & small provide me quotes to install a new HVAC system in my home. I finally decided to have a Gas Furnace and Heat pump installed (Lennox) and Darrell from Alternative heating and Cooling was very interested in what I wanted and worked with me to put a package together. He was very thorough looking at the current set-up and what I would need to have done and what was best for my home. He provided what was promised and completed the installation of both units in one day. I could not have asked for any better service! I highly recommend Alternative H & C and will use them for all my annual HVAC service visits.
