Brad told me it would be a half day job and that he would fit it in. He spent some time with me showing me what they would do and that's exactly what they did. They did a great job.

They were extremely prompt about returning my initial call and coming out to do an estimate! The price was much better than other quotes I had received. The morning of the scheduled work the guys were running late, but they did call to let me know that. It seemed like they did quality work, but everything in our garage had a coat of cement dust all over it after they jack hammered / pulled up the part of the existing floor we were replacing. I don't know if it's customary to try to keep things clean or not, but it doesn't seem like they tried to do much to keep the mess down. Also, and this was just a small thing but bothered me because I'm pregnant (was 7 months at the time, and had an obvious baby belly), one of the guys doing the work was smoking and didn't make an effort to stop or keep the smoke away from me when I came out to talk to them / offer water. Once the new garage door was installed there was a question of the new garage floor and cement apron being level, and they were very nice about coming back to check it out. First the men who did the work came by one evening (though again, they ran late) and then later in the week the owner of the company came out to check the work himself. Turned out all of their work was level and appropriate. Whenever we eventually decide to re-do our whole driveway, we will be calling this company.

I called and schedule an estimate. They came out within a day and quoted the work. Pricing was good. They were 4-5 weeks out until they could do the work. I decided to go with another company because they could do the work sooner. My experience with this company was very good, they responded to questions within a day.

My home is over 50 years old. The house is on a crawl space but the garage floor was installed at grade level. Over the years it has sunk and lifted to the point where it detracts from the value of the home should we decide to sell. I first called a concrete leveling company who said that they could level the floor but that the cracks that existed would still be there. They recommended having it torn out and re-done. They suggested Metzinger Construction. I obtained three separate estimates and Metzinger was the most competitive. I discussed the work to be done with the owner, Brent Metzinger and found him to be very knowledgeable and cooperative. My furnace and water heater are both in the garage and were going to be replaced at the same time. Brent was very cooperative in scheduling his work around the tear out of the furnace. The work crew of three men arrived exactly when Brent said they would and began the tear out at about 9AM so as not to disturb the neighborhood with their noise. Aside from stirring up a next of yellow jacket bees in the exterior wall, the work went without incident and was completed by about 4PM. Brent Metzinger came by to inspect the work and make sure I was satisfied---which I was. Brent and his workers are very professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

They responded quickly to my request for an estimate. They were also very responsive to my many calls as I made changes to my initial request and asked various questions. My only concern was that they used some of my existing landscape rock under the driveway. The owner was then happy to deduct my estimate of the cost of the rock from my bill when I asked him about it. The provider did a nice job. I was pleased with the end product and I would use them again.

Big Mac did an excellent job leveling out the area so that you can not even tell there is a crack there anymore. You also can not even tell that a small portion of the slab is not level. Big Mac was very polite. He cleaned up everything very well and made sure that my wife and I were happy with the job before leaving. Brent and his team were able to work within my wife and my busy schedules to get the work down. They actually came in on a Saturday to complete it which I felt was going above and beyond. We will definitely use them again in the future if need be and would not hesitate to refer any of our friends, family or neighbors to them. My only piece of constructive criticism is that it could be difficult to get a hold of Brent at times. He was clearly very busy. I found the best way was via angies list messaging. That all being said, he did always get back to me within a day or two. - Very happy customer

Brent's crew had to remove a small, pressure-treated lumber landing and steps that were attached to the house. They put down plywood all the way to the back of the house to protect the yard. Then they excavated the area for the patio and hauled away the sod. The framing of the 12' x 15' patio went quickly, but they were very careful to get the grade of the patio correct. They framed up an oversized landing and 3 steps up the door. A base of gravel was compacted and rebar was added. Within 2 hours they were pouring the concrete and starting the finishing. Marco did outstanding work on the finishing and took a lot of time to get the finishing right. The next day they returned to seal the surface and put some fill dirt up to the edges of the patio. The final job looks great.

The next morning after receiving Bren'ts estimate, I emailed him to do the work. The schedule he had given me was within 3-4 weeks which was very quick. Unfortunately, within 45 minutes of my email, the contractor who would never return my calls actually called me to say he had his crew on the way over to do the job. As my front steps needed repairs for over a year now, I went with the contractor who would never return my calls as the steps were in a dangerous state and I was moving so I needed the steps to be able to move my belongings. I have no doubts that Brent would have shown up in the timeframe he had stated or called me to explain if there was a detail. I have no doubts that he would have done a very professional job as his attitude and behavior proved that he considers his customers as important and valuable. I am not happy that I felt almost forced to use a contractor that did not respect his customer enough to bother to make a quick phone call. I found that I am not the only person who could not get concrete contractors to return phone calls in this area. If you want quick response, a polite person and someone who values his customers, I whole-heartedly recommend you call Brent Metzinger.

Brent was wonderful to work with. He was incredibly responsive and took the time to go out to the home on short notice to review the repairs. He sent us a quote within 24 hours and had the work scheduled and completed by the next week. We would highly recommend him to any of our clients in the future.

It went very well. We feel bad we didn't submit sooner but thought it was important to go ahead as the concrete still looks great and no cracks. We did have an issue with some staining at first due to leaves and Brent sent out a crew to fix and seal for free.

They were excellent. They were easy to work with and very friendly. It took them a little longer than we though because of the weather but they did a really good job.

Everything went very well and we were very happy with the results.

It took some time to get the quote; I eventually did receive a call from the contractor who was highly apologetic and there were significant mitigating circumstances

Excellent service! Brent responded to our request for a quote in a timely manner, and work was scheduled as quickly as possible. The workers who came out worked diligently and were very good about cleanup. He is the first person I'd call if I needed concrete work done.

The two guys arrived and got straight to work. The work was hard as they had to cut and then break out the old concrete, but they kept busy the whole time. Once they had the old concrete removed they prepped the area and went straight on to get the new concrete poured. One of the guys left after that, and the other stayed and worked the area until it looked really nice. He then finished cleaning up the area and the job was completed. I think the whole job took around 2 1/2 hours, which was amazing to me. The area looks very nice now and we are very happy with the job they did.

I left a message requesting a quote. Brent returned my call in a few hours and went out the next day to look at the job. I accepted his quote and he said he would call me in a couple of weeks to schedule. He called just like he said. We got it scheduled for the next day. They showed up on time, got right to work and got the job done in less then a day. They cleaned everything up and roped off the driveway so no one would get on it. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again if the need arises.

We noticed scaling and flaking on the steps after the first winter (by late Feb) and subsequently discovered leaves from a nearby bush had been poured into the concrete layer and were now popping out of the top causing cracks, flakes, and pits. Contacted the provider who returned call but never came out or met with me to look at the problem and try to come up with a mutually acceptable resolution. Now, only 3 years later and a harsh winter -- the highly visible steps in our otherwise nicely landscaped yard are crumbled and broken along all the edges. We are in the process of getting repair estimates which will likely involve another tear out and repour. Very poor quality work and non-responsive to initial problem. Will not contact him now because I just don't want the aggravation and hassle. I would advise not using. (and btw, the wood strips are splitting and popping out too)

We had to remove sections of our front sidewalk for a sewer line repair and Metzinger was to do the sidewalk repair work. Our sidewalk was not in good shape anyway so Brent gave us an estimate to replace the entire walk. He was very pleasant and gave us several options for the work. The work was completed as scheduled and the crew did a nice job. It looks great. We did have a few spots/splashes of concrete on our brick porch that we discovered after the work was done, but I called Brent and he had a guy come out that day to clean the spots. We are very pleased with the company.

They arrived between noon and 1pm, prepared the areas for concrete, concrete truck arrived at 4pm and by 5:30 to 6:00 pm they were finished. Awesome job.

We had Brent tear out our old crumbly driveway and replace it with a brand new concrete drive. He widened it and graded the apron properly which was not done previously. He was very quick to provide an estimate and although the crew was originally booked out 2-3 weeks he squeezed us in because the weather was so nice. We had somewhat of a mishap with a neighbor walking through the wet concrete and Brent and his team came right out the next day to fix it. Overall excellent experience.
