+ 0 moreWalnut Ridge was not the lowest bid we had on our yard work, but I can tell you, it was money well spent.. They always have had a good reputation in the southern Indiana area, and we know why. Excellent service! Their crew worked very hard- and I don't think you'll find anyone more willing to please their clients than the guys at Walnut Ridge! I really wanted to also add a concrete wishing well to the landscaping- no problem! I purchased it locally and they were glad to pick it up and placed it right where I wanted it. My only "complaint" would be that it did take over 2 months to complete the project, because we had to wait on the person they subcontracted to do our paver walkway( not Walnut Ridge's fault)...but it was worth the wait- beautiful job! I wouldn't think twice about calling them again, in fact we plan on it when we renovate our back yard.
Description of Work: Removed, by hand, trees and shrubs that were over 20 years old. Installed new plant beds and stone edging along with all new plantings- 2 ornamental trees and several shrubs, ornamental small plants.. Installed(subcontracted) new paver walkway. Basically, they transformed what used to be an eyesore into a great new front yard!

Description of Work: They just finished three days of work in our front yard. They put in flowers, bushes and cleaned up the yard. It looks ten times better than it did before.

Description of Work: We last used Walnut Ridge Garden Center last summer for landscaping. They have done some landscaping for us this summer as well. They cleaned up our yard of excess vines. We have a lot of ivy and they trimmed it back. They cleaned out weeds and much of the yard that we use for plants. They planted 5 large pots of flowers. Last summer they constructed a walkway for us up to our front door.

+ -1 moreThe major problem were the men that Walnut Ridge hired to perform the manual labor....they could not speak English. I will follow up with the county and state on legal status. Very pricey for the work I had done.
Description of Work: Bill for plants and labor cost were close to $2500.00 on a modest size area in the front and sides of my home. Walnut Ridge even used some of my current plants I already had in my yard. They did straighten and level a small brick retainer wall that was previously present but was uneven. They removed a small diseased scrub, planted 12 small ground covering scrubs, 5 larger plants, a rose bush. They laid mulch and treated for weeds.

Description of Work: WR had landscaped our deck 18 years ago and it needed to be redone, mainly because I'm a lousy gardener and had killed off some plants, replaced with ones that weren't appropriate, etc. They used what they could of my existing plants, came up with a design, took out a tree, re-edged around the deck, dug out a sun garden, put in a bunch of new bushes....and were done in slightly over a day. Beautiful work, great people....I also used them for the front of my house about 10 years ago, and it still looks good! HIGHLY recommend them!!

+ -1 moreTHEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL THEY MET WITH US TO DISCUSS WHAT THEIR PLANS WOULD BE AND THEY WERE VERY PUNCTUAL. THEY GOT ALL OF THE WORK DONE IN TWO DAYS, ABOUT THREE HOURS PER DAY.
