I purchased the handyman for the day deal. We were buying a new home that needed several small things done. The company was unable to schedule us prior to our moving in( it was short notice and I understood) we tentatively scheduled another day...then it was another day...in the meantime, I either did the jobs myself or found other workmen to do them. I'm sorry this deal just didn't work out for us.

Purchased the Deal for handyman for a day and it was advertised "Buy Now and get it scheduled in 48 hours!" I've been trying to schedule since 9/21 and it's been difficult to get responses and don't find out he's not coming to my house until the last minute. Since purchasing this deal, I've purchased deals with two other handymen who have already came and left. I don't think it's acceptable to be put off for scheduling 3 weeks when 48 hours is advertised.

Jeff arrived on time, got started right away. He matched the singles to the house as well as he could.Clean up was through, above and beyond what was expected. I had a few things that need to go to the dump and he added that to the clean up from the job . My yard is ready for winter and the shed is dry. All of this done with a great attitude. I would hire him again.

Contacted provide Mon. Sept 29 for estimate on soffit repair. Said that he would be able to provide estimate for repairs on that day or the next day tues Sept 30th. No estimate on Monday so followed up via text on Tuesday and provider said that estimate would be provided on Wednesday October 1st. No estimate then on Wednesday, no call or response from provider. Has been about a week since hearing anything. Read some of the good reviews on provider but I think it is very unprofessional to not respond to inquiry of estimate. I understand things come up but provider should respond appropriately. What happened to doing what you say you will do? New to Angie's List and this provider has not lived up to the expectations! Maybe the providers work is decent based on the reviews but the lack of response is unsatisfactory....

Jeff responded to my initial request and asked for a good phone to contact me. I provided the number and didn't receive a call or follow-up as promised.

Jeff and his team gave us a fair estimate and followed through with the work in a prompt and correct manner. The final product was fabulous and clean-up was thorough. They worked really hard and cleaned up after each work-day. They did a great job and we plan on using them in the the future. We would highly recommend to anyone needing work, especially on old houses.

He came when he said he would come and he brought workers who went to work immediately. He brought all tools needed. Jeff delayed replacing some wood siding because he did not want to do it in a hurried manner because of rain. He was polite, he was funny and he asked how we found him and we told him Angie's List. We have other work that needs to be done and he referred to a landscaper who he assured us would do quality work. We have met the landscaper Who has given us a quote and it is fair and we have subsequently learned that he does quality work. As for Jeff, we could not be more satisfied. There we times we were unable to be here and we trusted him to come in our home and do the work. We will hire him again if needed.

Jeff and his team did a great job. They were on time each day and cleaned up afterwards. I knew Jeff and his team were fantastic when at the end of the first day - one of his team came to tell me that they were cleaning up for the day and would be back tomorrow. They wanted to sweep up and put all of the furniture back before they left and then the individual went out of his way - not to walk on the area rug - but stay on the tile floor as he exited. They caulked the exterior before they painted and Jeff went out of his way to repair several roof shingles that he found loose. We will use Jeff and his team again without a doubt.

EVEn With Many Days of Rain.On the Day of the Delivery of New Roofing. The Delivery was 4 Hours Late. Mr McGaha Waited from 10am to 12 pm & Returned at 2:30pm and in a Pouring UnLoaded the Roofing Putting it Onto The Roof It Self. He and His Crew Started the Very Next Morning.They Started Promply and Cleaned the Area after Each Days Work.

Our experience was okay. They had changed their phone number so I had trouble getting a hold of him. It took several emails to get a call back from him. He did show up on time for the appointment. He did not take the wall paper off behind our toilet or switch plates. He was okay for the price he offered.

I have given Jeff's Handyman service a "D" grade since I simply have no idea how good a job he would have done. We contacted him initially for the replacement of exterior wood trim and painting and for the replacement of a bathroom vanity. He called back and directed us to call him back to arrange an appointment to assess the job. This was the last we heard from him. We've called him back twice and left voice mails, but he has not returned our calls. I guess I am glad that his business is so good that he doesn't need ours, but the considerate thing to do would have been to tell us up-front that he was too busy. Not returning phone calls is a huge red flag for us and we will not be using his services.

Jeff and a worker came out and got right to work. I had a laundry list of small repairs that I needed done. They did a great job with the repairs and paint. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

A fantastic experience! I had originally hired a handyman to paint trim on outside of house and replace some boards on exterior chimney, but when it was discovered there were areas of rotten boards and plywood on exterior chimney, that contractor wasn't comfortable doing the work, I needed to get someone more experienced. I called Jeff, he came out that night for an estimate, we agreed on a price, and he was able to start work the next day. He did the exterior chimney trim boards, plywood, soffit board next to chimney, and painted those areas. He also solved the original problem of why this happened in first place, damage from leak in flashing, so installed new flashing so this wouldn't happen again. He was prompt, easy to communicate with, and had very reasonable prices. He answered my many questions and finished work in a timely manner. While he was here, I asked his opinion on an issue I'd been meaning to fix (post on front porch which needed support), and he offered to do the work that day, problem solved! I will definitely be calling him for future projects. A good fit especially for female homeowners who may have insecurities about working with contractors. Thanks Jeff!

I entered into an agreement at the end of March with The Big Deal for Jeff's Handyman Service. I asked for a date in June and was given some options. I chose a date and both of us were OK with it. A few days before the date, Jeff wanted to change the scheduled time to either later that afternoon, or the next day. Since I had an appointment the next day, I chose later that scheduled afternoon. We waited, and Jeff never called, nor did he show. When I asked for a refund, and he said he would be sending a refund on June 30th, A few days ago, we had not seen the refund, so I contacted Jeff and asked again for an answer. To date, no reply.

It was a tough job since the wallpaper was thirty years old, but he did a great job with the removal. Furthermore, he arrived on time, acted professionally, and cleaned up after himself. He did so well, in fact, that I had him back to paint the very same room.

I had to reschedule with Jeff due to unforeseen situations. He was very understanding and accommodating to me. He is very prompt, friendly, and professional. I am continuing to use him for small jobs around my house.

We provided the culk for all windows and doors. We also provided a new down spout and hardware. Jeff and crew of (2) completed the projected within 2 1/2 hrs. We were very happy with the completed work and price that we payed. I would recommend Jeff for any handyman project or other related painting jobs.

I purchased the deal for Jeff's Handyman Services. He e-mailed me to say that he would come today at 9:00 a.m. He did not come or call.

Purchased the big deal to inspect my roof and caulk any do minor repairs. Jeff came out quickly and inspected my roof. He said the roof was in good shape, but the flashing around the chimney needed to be redone. We agreed on a price to repair the roof and patch the ceiling where it had been leaking. The job went well. The roof no longer leaks down the fireplace and we have had several storms. I was a little disappointed in the ceiling patch, but may have expected too much. The water stains bled through the patch after it dried. Jeff did come back as he agreed to do and repainted the area. Unfortunately the paint does not match the rest of the ceiling. It may be impossible to get a good match. Overall he did a good job and did what he said he was going to do. The important thing is that he fixed the roof so that it will not cause further damage.

Jeff and his crew stained and painted the fence surrounding our patio. The fence was constructed about 4 years ago and we left it in its natural state. Over time, it began to show wear and became unsightly. Jeff stained and then painted the fence to match the trim on our house. It took a lot of work and paint since the fence had been weathered for a long time. Every square inch of the fence was painted to perfection and it vastly improves the look of the house. We intend to use Jeff for more painting inside the house. Great job.

Jeff and his crew have done it again! We have had a leak in the basement the whole time we have owned the house. Sometimes the water in the laundry room accumulated to an inch of water while the family room in the finished basement had streams of water going to the drain. Jeff suggested a way to stop all the leaks by rerouting the water from rain through designing and constructing a pipe system which would take all the water from rain and send it away from the foundation of the house. Even with the most torrential rains we now have no leak in the basement! All this was done for only $845. I thought it would take thousands of dollars to deal with this problem, but by taking the water away from the foundation of the house, Jeff solved the problem quickly, inexpensively, and professionally. We are relieved and grateful for his work and suggestions. He really cares about his work and we are thrilled we have found someone whom we can trust and is gifted.

The concrete porch at the front of the house has never had a roof or covering. The floor of the porch had cracks and in places was beginning to crumble. Jeff built a beautiful porch roof which is very solid and stable. You can tell how professional and strong the roof is just be looking at it and the way it was made. He also refinished the concrete floor and repaired any crumbling and painted the floor of the porch to match the trim of the house. We were amazed and very pleased with the end result. It adds so much to the look of the house and now provides us a beautiful porch we can enjoy as we watch the sunset in the evening. It's also nice to have a porch to cover us and any guests from the rain as they prepare to enter the house. This roof also takes away any water from the foundation of the house through non-obtrusive gutters Jeff designed. He did a great job and we would highly recommend him if you want someone you can trust to be fair, to not take advantage of you, and to do a great job. We will definitely use Jeff and his crew again.

Everything was fine, showed up on-time. Quick and seamless process.

He made multiple attempts to fix the problem. As he was unsuccessful he didn't charge me anything. We will seek advise from his plumber.

Jeff was quick to respond to our Messages and came out within a couple of days. He repaired woodpecker damage and used paint we provided to touch up the area. He did good work at a fair price, and made this super easy on us!
