The front door to my apartment was not hung very well. There were gaps between the door and the frame that were not closed with weather stripping, and the large picture window in the apartment was also a drafty booger. I brought my concerns to the owners in January, my electric bills had been climbing steadily, I understand it was cold but triple the cost was not something I was prepared for. Zender took their own sweet time getting to this issue, two months in fact. It took me threatening to have the job done myself and taking the cost out of my rent to have them finally get it done. This is par for the course for Zender. I am moving out at the end of April to a Van Rooy property.

Sender is terrible when it comes to maintaining their properties. I have had to call several times on many different issues and they only get resolved after hounding them about it. Other times I am told it is not their problem. Overall I love living in the apartment but they SERIOUSLY need to get their act together where it comes to customer service.
Description of Work: I have a microwave installed above my stove that quit working. I called Maintenance on Tuesday and didn't hear back from them until I called again on Friday.

I left the morning in question for work around 9 AM. I double locked my 3 year old lab in her cage, checking to make sure it was securely fastened. Nothing was amiss in the apartment, her toys were in her cage, and her collar was on. When I came home at 5:30 PM the dog was cowering in the back of her cage, her collar had been ripped off, all of her toys were out of her cage, she was covered in her own mess, her face was bruised, and there was feces all over the floor of the apartment. My first thought was that somehow the dog got out of her cage however upon further inspection I realized this wasn't a possibility. 1) The feces was over 10 feet from where her closed door cage sat with a couch separating the space. There was no physical way the dog could have messed in her cage and somehow gotten it on that area of the carpet. 2) There were claw marks in the carpet around the apartment where the dog must have gotten scared and dug her feet into the floor. Again, not possible had the dog been in her crate all day. 3) The dogs collar had been ripped off of her head and her face had been bruised, not something she could have done herself while confined in her cage. I called the police and filed a report. The dog had obviously been let out of her cage during the day. While I understand the want to be friendly to pets, it was completely irresponsible and negligent of the contractors to do so without my permission. Furthermore, when I called emergency maintenance about this issue I was hung up on. After calling the front office they proceeded to stand by their contractors without being able to rectify that while I was at work all day no one else had access to the apartment but their men. It has since been a week since this issue happened and I have yet to have my carpets cleaned or receive any kind of apology for this situation. I will be following up in civil court if this situation is not rectified.
Description of Work: I have had an apartment with Zender for almost a year now. On Friday 2/25/2011 maintenance men entered my apartment to fix a tile problem in my bathroom.
