Description of Work: Great. The remote for the my gas fireplace wasn't clicking the flame on even with new batteries in the remote. Joe happened to be in the area and stopped on his way home to look at it. The fireplace box needed new batteries. He showed me how to replace the batteries and fix the problem within 15 minutes at no charge. Your Chimney Sweep is the only company I'll call for fireplace maintenance.

Description of Work: First they came out for a chimney sweep. I was immediately impressed as after cleaning, they showed me what the inside of the chimney looked like via a snake-like camera. And they took several pictures and e-mailed them to me afterwards. Even cleaned the glass doors. | |I liked them so much I had them come back for two repairs. One, they installed a stainless steel cap at the top of the chimney. Second, they cut into the chimney from the outside to remove a large amount of trash that the builder let fall inbetween the exhaust pipe and brick chimney. The bricks were put back, and I now can burn fires without creating a fire hazard that was present previous to the repair.

Description of Work: Chimney sweep. Cleaned the chimney and showed us pictures of issues in the chimney (home built 1949), such as missing mortar and cracks. Gave us a recommendation to repair missing mortar and cracks but was not pushy about it. Also received a $10 senior discount. I will call them again in the future.

They came out on short notice, took pains to make sure that my home stayed clean,made sure I understood the impact of the repairs, and noted any future maintenance or repairs issue that may arise. I was very please with all of my interactions with them and would not hesitate to contact them in the future for any chimney services.

Description of Work: Communication with the office coordinating the service was excellent. Techs arrived on time. Upon arriving and inspecting my system it was determined they could not clean my chimmney since the configuration of the flue had 90 degree angles and they were unable to visually inspect it for damages. They were very informative and did not charge me for their time since they were unable to complete the cleaning. Great company.

Description of Work: Took down old brick chimney and put a new brick chimney and liner from the roofline up. The job is now ready for us to install a new furnace and chimney liner/cap on. Ron did the work, and as usual, excellent work. My job was completeed in a day within a week of my call.

Description of Work: These people were outstanding! We had 6 baby racoons plus their mom LIVE in our chimney. They removed them with great care for the animal and respect for our home as well. They explained what they were doing and actually made the experience educational. They were prompt, very nice people, and very clean, including tarps all over the house and great clean up afterwards. Their phone lady was great too ... called when they were on the way. Outstanding company!

Description of Work: He did my anual cleaning and chimney sweeping of my wood buring fireplace. He did excellent work. I got a discounted price of 159.00 due to being a member of Angies List. The extra 5 dollars was for replacement of a broken brick that luckily he had on his truck. He is very clean when doing his work and was able to figure out how to get to the pipe when the direction manual did not give that information, he called the store where I bought the stove and they couldn't tell him how to access the bottom of the pipe, so he was on his own and figured it out pretty quickly. He is careful with the stove and is happy to explain things to me.
