They did a great job cleaning, and they were able to diagnose and offer various solutions for a rusted chimney box.

First, the woman on the phone was great. She was professional and really cared. The appointment was kept, Ron came out to the house and explained my problem to me. He then came back to fix my chimney. It was easy to put my confidence in him. He knew the products, and he knew how to apply them. He was wonderful. He also took dead birds out of my chimney. He also told me that my roofing company did not finish their job correctly. It was great to call the roofing company and have pictures to show them of the job their men did. I love this company.

Prompt, courteous, on time and clean. I originally hired them to clean out chimney. They inspected firebox and chimney. Determined that I had no appreciable creosote build-up. Did not need to have chimney cleaned this year.

Your Chimney Sweep (YCS) personnel arrived early, taking a fair amount of time to set up protective covers. This setup work ensured that my carpet and furniture were protected. YCS worked efficiently and thoroughly, doing a great job. YCS cleaned the glass (both sides) on my fireplace doors. YCS provided me with a status and suggested that my wood grate was too long for my fireplace. I purchased the correct size grate from him and requested that he remove the existing one. YCS personnel sent a follow-up note to thank me for my business. Nice touch.

Joe was very friendly and arrived on time. He completed the inspection, showed me how to work the fireplace, gave me tips and replaced the screen. He was very friendly and patient with my dogs as well as with me.

They gave us some suggestions on the care and maintenance of our chimney. I thought they were very professional, timely, they worked hard to give us good information.

The workman was extremely friendly and helpful. They arrived on time, did a full assessment of the situation and then outlined my options. He let me know about situations that existed in the attic that restricted airflow that he corrected. That included moving a heavy Christmas tree off of the vent! He also taught me about the residue that dryer sheets leave on the lint trap and how to clean it. I appreciate the education on how to keep it in good shape and the fact that my dryer works like new!

I called Your Chimney Sweep after noticing that we were getting a strong woodsy campfire smell in our living room whenever the air conditioning was running. They were able to schedule me for an appointment within the week. Joe Sauter came out and, after looking at the chimney, explained why we might be getting the smell. He cleaned the chimney, which nearly eliminated the smell, and recommended we place a chimney cap on a second chimney we have for a basement fireplace that we don't use, to prevent animals from getting in there. We didn't have the cap installed that day, but plan to do so in the near future.

Wonderful experience. I left a message and received a quick call back. Services were explained and the prices. Tech arrived timely, and ready to work. My family room was protected and there was no mess. I was advised as to additional services I may need in the future but not pressured into a decision.

They were out when they said they would be. I didn't even have to be home. They did good job.

I was very impressed with my service from this company. They arrived on time, and took good measures to make sure that my home stayed clean while they were there. I had originally asked for a cleaning and to replace the caps and to check for damage since pieces of cement were falling. They determined that a cleaning was not needed. They were able to do the repair at the same time for a minimal price. They also replaced two chimney caps, one badly damaged and one missing from the spring storms. They did an excellent job at explaining my different options. They also took before and after photos of everything so I could see the work that they had done.

It was great. He showed up on time and was pleasant to deal with, cleaned up after himself, and answered all the questions I had. I will call them next time we need a cleaning.

Joseph arrived on time and was professional. The chimney is about 33 years old and has a wood burning fireplace. From the way the fireplace looked it may not have ever been cleaned before. He cleaned the fireplace and chimney, inspected the chimney on the roof, and recommended some repairs. We had the ash pit cover replaced and will have other recommended work done in the future. He did such a good job on the fireplace that I can't believe it is the same one (I have pictures of how dirty it was prior to his arrival)!

I'm very happy with their service. The two guys were nice and did a good job, and didn't leave a trace of dirt from the chimney. They talked to me about my dryer vent and showed me how to clean the dryer screen from fabric softener buildup. They also talked to me about options I had for my chimney/fireplace (such as a new grate that would be better for the duraflame logs we usually use) but weren't pushy at all. They got the work done despite some difficulties arising from they way my dryer duct was originally installed.

My experience with Chris, Ron & Joe was great. They were friendly and professional. The area was cleaned up nicely when they were done and the chimney looks great. They were also the most reasonably priced from the quotes I received.

I had just read a chapter on cancer in a book i'm reading-"How We Die". It was a history of a period of many years ago when children in England cleaned chimneys by climbing inside & up the chimney naked. I related this to Mr. Sauter and he was familiar with the history of this episode and the children developed and stated the "Cancer discovered lead to the child labor laws in that country. Extremely pleased.

They were clean and neat. It looks really nice. This stopped the water from coming in. The roofer couldn't do it, and Joseph Sauter was able to get it done.

I asked them to come out and clean the chimney. Instead, they came out and charged me $65 to tell me I needed over $2000 worth of repair. They should make it clear to the customer that the possibility exists that they will be charged for nothing more than an opinion. They never got on the roof, totally ignored my second chimney (despite me asking for it to be cleaned also), then refused to come out and look at 2nd chimney without another $65. Apparently, this is quite normal for them.

Job completed in less time than I had thought! Joe showed me the cap before replacing it. I could see the obvious problems. I certainly did not feel they were in a hurry. Rather they were thorough & did an overall check of their work.
