Company representatives were very professional and thorough. Swept chimney and inspected. Very easy to work with and knowledgeable.

I called and they came out the next day to do a quote. They also helped me cover the chimney so that rain would not get in. The contractor had left it exposed and this was something we couldn't do on our own. I asked them to clean my dryer vent, but he checked it and told me that it was functioning fine and didn't need to be cleaned. There is a fee for them to come out, but it gets applied to the bill if you go with them. Their price was lower than another quote I received.

Excellent! Chris was right on time. In fact, he was early as his appointment before ours was canceled. He was kind enough to call in advance to get the okay to come over. He did all the work with great efficiency and explained in detail all work that was being done. He took great care to not get any soot/dust on the floors or furniture. I would highly recommend this service provider to anyone that needs a chimney cleaned or inspected. The cost of the job came to about $200, which included the touch up of the bricks inside the fireplace and on the external chimney. The touch up was a small added cost, which was explained to me BEFORE the work was done. I felt it to be completely worth the cost.

We have just moved to a new house and wanted to make sure that everything was in working order to use the fireplace this winter. Joe and his apprentice arrived on time and were very thorough in their work. They were both willing to answer all of our questions. Our existing chimney cap was rusted and loose. They replaced the cap with a better one that has a lifetime warranty. Joe showed us pictures of some cracking and pitting in the chimney crown. He advised us of the options for its repair and left information for us to consider. He also inspected the dryer vent and offered some advice. It was a good service experience and their efforts and professionalism were appreciated.

The job went very well. They kept me informed of arrival time, arrived timely and promptly inspected the chimney. They showed me the chimney by taking a digital picture. The owner explained some different options for me, since I was having pesky critters come into the one chimney that wasn't covered.

Gentlemen arrived 30 min. after arranged appointment time, but they called just prior to the appointment to indicate that they were running behind. The cleaning process went smoothly. They appeared to be knowledgeable about the chimneys in my neighborhood and of my chimney. They indicated what I should continue to watch regarding areas of my chimney that might be showing their age, but there was no high-pressure sales pitch.

Ron also inspected the brick on the chimney and told me I need a number of bricks replaced and cracks on the crown repaired. The chimney also needs to be sealed to prevent moisture from doing more damage to the brick. He gave me estimates and options on work that needed to be done. I knew the exterior of the chimney needed attention, and Ron confirmed that. I will probably have the work done in the near future.

He came out when he said he would. He did the repair and I felt the price was comparable. Real efficient.

He took pictures of my chimney to show me how my chimney looked. He gave me diagrams to show me what work he was going to do. He's the only one who came out that actually wanted to come inside and look inside two fireplaces. He noted that 1 needed cleaning and the other one had loose bricks in the chimney stacks, and he re-cemented those. He gave a 10 year warranty on the crown, and the flue caps came with a lifetime warranty. He was my last bidder, so I shared some of my other options from the other companies. He told me that he could the work, but it was unnecessary, and he didn't want to take my money needlessly.

Last summer my former (and I do mean former) chimney sweep recommended replacement of my rear firewall panel and said they'd check around for the right size. In November I called and they said they'd come out and remeasure when they were in the area; they never did. On June 13, I called Your Chimney Sweep. They came the next day, ordered parts and the installation was done in less than an hour on July 5. They were excellent. He was here within 24 hours. We have white carpeting and you couldn't even tell he was here. He explained everything he was doing. He was very affordable and a very nice guy.

The job was scheduled one year ago at the last inspection. Jenny called a week before the scheduled date to confirm. Joe and his assistant were right on time, spread drop cloths throughout the family room to ensure the carpet would not be soiled, and went to work. This time, the chimney was in need of sweeping (typically required every other year when burning 1 rick/year, Joe said). He was a very nice guy. He knows his work and knows what he's doing. He had an assistant with him. They were here about an hour and a half.

Our experience with this company was excellent. The work was done on a property we are selling, following initial recommendations by the buyer's inspector. We wanted the work done by a reputable company.

When I made the appointment, I told them that I would need a new cap, since mine was damaged in a storm. When they got here they looked at the top of the cap, which had blown off into the back yard, and told me that they could repair it. I obviously was pleased since this would be a much less expensive repair. They also inspected my chimney and removed a dead bird that had flown in after the top of the cap blew off. They also told me that the chase cover was badly rusted and would eventually need to be replaced. They gave me an estimate for replacing it with a heavy duty stainless steel chase cover.

Scheduling appointment was made easy by the knowledgeable staff. Joe was prompt and efficient. He explained the problems, outlined alternatives and answered all of our questions. Both the fireplace and dryer are again operating normally.

Joe arrived on time. When he found that we had paid to have the chimney cleaned less than 2 weeks before, he cleaned the chimney properly. He took the time to explain what we were seeing and showed us the chimney when it was clean. He only charged us for the estimate for travel time and remembered our AL discount.

I had some water leaking and had him come out the he did give options of what it could be but did not know for certain. The caps are on but there is still a little leak.

Excellent. The sweep was very informative and asked many specific questions to try to solve our particular problem; poor updraft, smoke coming into house. He did not find a major problem with our unit (6 yr. old new construction) but did show us how to improve the negative airflow through adjustments in window openings before lighting a fire, opening of the fireplace outside air vent, and explained how in new construction the furnace and clothes dryer can affect the draw of a fireplace. We have not had the problem since. Also cleaned both and was exceptionally clean and careful in the house. Even though it had just snowed 6 in the previous night, he still went up a ladder (2 story house) and inspected the cap and all items pertaining to the fireplace (also found a mistake made by the roofers who had just reroofed the house after hail damage).

They were very clean and tidy. He was very knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. We were comfortable having him in the house. I would recommend him to anyone. We even got a thank you card for using them and they gave a $10 off Angie's List discount!

We had a blocked fireplace and the sound of an animal in the fireplace flue so we called after Christmas. They were on vacation but returned call right away when they returned. Two men came 3 days later on time and checked fireplace. Raccoon had moved on but left droppings which needed to be cleaned out. Cleaned flue and added 2 caps. Also checked to make sure furnace flue clear. Very clean work, efficient. Took a bit more than one hour. Would hire again.

Ron Gammon arrived promptly provide the estimate. He looked at the outside and the portions of the attic within the Chimney. He was very insightful into the situation and also honest. I did not feel as though he was trying to sell (or rather oversell) his company's services. He provided many different alternatives that depended upon my usage of the Chimney.
