We have used this company for snow removal for the past two winters and are on their automatic snow removal list. We have had problems in the past with them waiting until late into the day to come to clear the snow, but this past big snow they didn't show up at all. Not only didn't they show up to remove the snow, but they didn't respond to several phone calls and messages that I Left. If they weren't available at least they should have let me know that they couldn't come so that I could make alternative arrangements. Instead I waited until late in the afternoon and then eventually gave up when none of my phone calls had been returned and found another company to come. My husband works in a hospital and doesn't get days off for bad weather and it is imperative that he can get to work. This is why we hired a snow removal company. This is very unprofessional to leave regular customers in a pinch.

They came immediately when called. My husband is ill and I requested they plow and salt our 45 degree drive.... for it is difficult... for our cars to drive up and down the slanted surface when wet. They did a great job and will we will always call them for our snow remvoal.

Perfect. They did exactly what we needed. Both trees were right next to a neighbors fence and in jeopardy of damaging another neighbor's fence if not taken down properly. They were very careful and professional...even tolerating curious questions about taking down trees from kids and onlookers. :) They even told one of my kids to yell timber just before one came down. The trees came down well, and Paul even gave us good information on what equipment we would need to have to cut up the trees ourselves. Rates were reasonable. Messages were returned reasonably. I'd call Paul again and will recommend him to others.

Brandon Xander came out with his father to do some work on a tree demolished in a storm. At that time, I saw him looking closely at my 10-12 ash trees, all dying from ash borer infestation. I asked him if he knew anything about the root treatment I had recently read about that is reputed to be effective in preservation of the trees. He talked to me at great length about the efficacy of the treatment and he said he had used the treatment successfully in the past. He cautioned me, however, that the treatment is a 10-year process and one of my trees was probably too infested to be saved. I called a few days later and asked him to come and treat the trees. He said it was too hot at that time, because the treatment is more effective in cooler temperatures; but he would arrive early in the morning within a few days, treat the trees quickly before the hot sun began beating on them, leave his bill and be gone. He did exactly that, but this was only the first of five every-other-year applications. I am hopeful, and indeed confident, that my beautiful trees will be saved. Brandon was very professional and knowledgeable. He also is prompt, courteous, and respectful. He has learned well from his father how to provide GREAT customer service. I would not hesitate for one second to employ Brandon or his father, Paul, for any tree service needs I ever have in the future.

We contacted Xanderbuilt of Indiana Inc. asking for an estimate for removal of several trees. Paul came out and discussed the work we wanted done. He then provided an estimate. We thought the estimate was very reasonable so we agreed to have the work done. They provided a date for the removal and were here on that date. They completed the work and cleaned up the yard so well that you could barely tell they had been there. The estimated price was the amount we paid. Paul spent a fair amount of time explaining our options for replanting a tree near the honey locust that had been removed. We did not have that done due to the drought conditions this summer, but will definitely use them when we decide to replant.

Excellent safety techniques and excellent communication of the plan of work. Cleanup of the area was done very quickly and met our expectation. Friendly workers who worked well together as a team.

great. Quick responce to the request for an estimate. We agreed on a date in June & July to start work when the ground was harder. Came out with a crew that to work trimming trees and removing brush along several hundred feet of the creek and tree line. Great job and great to work with. I will have them back out to do the same along the northern end of the property. I have used Xanderbuilt in the past for tree removal and was really impressed. Thanks.

I called Xanderbuilt shortly after the end of the storm that totally demolished my favorite willow tree of all time. I left a message, and Mrs. Xander called back within half an hour. Mr Xander (Paul) came the very next morning, surveyed the damage, and rendered his estimate. While I usually have three estimates, I felt his was reasonable, and I did not feel the need to get any additional ones. I called that afternoon (Saturday), and he arrived with a crew of SIX promptly the next Monday morning. They expertly cut up the tree, ground it up, cleaned up beautifully, and even as best they could re-erected the fence, also damaged by the tree in the storm! The men were clean, personable, polite, well-groomed, and VERY efficient. It is no wonder this company is A-rated! Count me among the happy customers. I am forever a fan!

They called back immediately after previous report. They even offered to move us up on priority list. They payed closed attention to our satisfaction when they came out to do the work, and the tree removal went smoothly. Paul was courteous and apologetic about the previous delay. Our trust and satisfaction with their performance has been restored, and I would recommend them to anyone now.

I called originally in late march. On March 31st they gave me an estimate. On April 5 I called and said I'd like to schedule the work and they informed me there were about 2 weeks out. I never heard anything from them after that. So I called back on 4/14 and they never called me back. I called them 2 more times and still never received a call back. The estimate was a fair price.

It went great. I contacted them, they did the work and I paid them.

We were provided a quote on Oct 15 to grind two stumps. We agreed to a price and were told they would be out in three weeks or less to perform the work. On December 1, 2011 I email Paul telling him to expect a "f" rating on Angie's list. They came out the next morning, without notice, and starting grinding the stump. Paul's reply email stated:"HI Mike...Sorry you are upset regarding the stump but our new stump grinder had some problems and was taken in for repair...please allow us another chance to do the jobWe can get you done next week. Thanks Paul" The response was written the morning after I complained and 3 hours before his men showed up. I wanted to cancel but they were done with one stump and starting on the second before i got home. Had there been communication about the delay I would have given them As across the board. Based on other reviews I do not expect others to have the issues I had but I still plan to find another company to do my work in the future.

Never recieved a return phone. Would not use now. Seems unreliable.

`I am unable to grade the price with complete confidence because I only had this one estimate for the job, but considering the size of the tree and the complexity of the root system,I expect that the price probably was quite reasonable. I was very well impressed with the way the crew worked and with the complete clean up of my yard after the tree was down and the trunk/root grinding left a mountain of grindings to be disposed of. I would not hesitate to call this company again if the need should ever arise.

He did an outstanding professional job. I would tell others to use him absolutely. He is great. He is very competitive. His quality of work is outstanding.
