Wyndham Apartments

The studios are all kinds of cute. The property is wonderfully positioned downtown. Rent is dirt cheap. However I have been forced to throw out every piece of furniture I owned that had fabric on it due to untreated, rampant bed bugs. My complaints and maintenance requests resulted in surprise "inspections" of my apartment and were never address. Leasing managers changed five times over 24 months and no one can keep anything straight. They say that they are cat friendly but the owner himself admitted that he doesn't like any animals - and god forbid they "routinely inspect" if you haven't cleaned the cat box in two days! Then they threaten you with eviction. Unfortunately, the property management company does no criminal check and a large portion of the building residents are on the s** offender registry. It's pretty obvious that the owner, "leasing agents," and "property managers" are more used to dealing with criminals than they are with actual urban professionals in any capacity, much less as a tenant. It is unfortunate. This property could actually be a terrific little piece of hidden downtown treasure if it weren't for the terrible mismanagement.
