Brent was great. He went over the inspection process thoughouly and talked with me about each step and what he was looking at and what I should be concerned about. Caught things the builder should have, as they were not done but were on the building plans, but didn’t...and he didn’t even have the plans to reference...he just knew what should have been done based on experience. DEFINATELY would hire again!!!

I want to take this opportunity to give a big shout out to Brent Wren of Wren House Inspection, LLC. We just recently become involved in 'turnkey' real estate investing, which we recognized from the get go is not so turnkey as providers would like you to believe. We live outside the Indianapolis area and quickly came to realize we need to build a team of people who can act as our eyes and in our interests when purchasing rental properties. In arranging for the inspections over the phone and email I found Brent easy to communicate with. We were present at the properties when he conducted the first two inspections for us and found his demeaner relaxed and his knowledge informative. The latest inspection could not be conducted because a tenant was inhabiting the unit but once they had vacated I scheduled with Brent to inspect the property fully comfortable with the fact we were not there but nevertheless the inspection would be conducted in a professional manner. I received the full inspection report promptly, only a day later. As to his reports, I should mention amongst people who flip houses, there are many negative remarks made about property inspectors. That has not been our experience when sending Brent's reports to my property manager and the company we have been buying our properties from, giving us further confidence in our choice for having Brent doing our property inspections from here on out.

Brent is great! He was there early and already begun before we got there (and we got there right on time). He was friendly and helpful. He continually came to us with updates about his findings and told us what to expect and what we should do. He even inspected a part of the plot that would not normally be included in the inspection. Someday, when we buy another house in the Indy area, I'll be seeking him back out. The cost we entered reflects optional radon and termite inspections. Base cost was about $300.

Brent was thorough, knowledgeable, clear, and communicated his concerns and thoughts effectively. Brent inspected our home. We found him to be very knowledgeable. He took time to answer all of our questions. He provided his report the same day that he performed the inspection.

Brent was professional and organized. He showed up on time and ready to begin. He was very thorough, and though the inspection needed to move along efficiently, he did not ever make me feel rushed. He listened to areas of concern I had noted and took the time to explain things I did not fully understand. We had a small issue where the seller had left a car in the garage that blocked access to the attic and he resolved it with the seller's agent with courtesy. His report was quite clear and concise with plenty of photos. He also conducted a termite inspection and provided a clear report for that as well. He knew I had a short deadline for my response to the seller and emailed me the report the same day. I would do business with him again.

We hired him twice. Each time, he was prompt in replying to correspondence. He met as planned and provided reports as planned. He was thorough and attentive. Easy to work with. Reasonably priced.

Brent was spectacular to work with. We are in the process of purchasing our first home and are very new to the home buying process. Brent went above and beyond to make sure all of our questions about the home and inspection were answered. On the day of the scheduled inspection there was a couple inches of snow on the roof, so it could not be inspected. For a small re-inspection fee, Brent when back out and completed the inspection a few days later when the snow had melted. We were in a time crunch to get the re-inspection completed, so Brent kindly drove by the house a few days in a row and inspected the roof as soon as the snow had fully cleared. There were a few things we did not initially understand about the inspection and he was more than happy to futher explain them on the phone. We are already planning to use him again to do a final re-inspection after the work we have agreed on with the sellers is completed. His written inspections are very detailed and provide pictures that clearly illustrate the issues. He is timely to respond and clearly cares about his work and clients happiness.

I was impressed with Brent and felt he went the extra mile for us by completing a very thorough inspection in difficult weather conditions and travelling far beyond his normal territory. He provided us with the information we needed to proceed with the sale of our home. I would not hesitate to recommend or hire again!

This is my first home purchase and Brent was amazing for my home inspection! He walked me through each step of what he was doing and kept me updated along the way. I had my inspection report completed the same day and emailed to my realtor as well! 100% recommend!

Fantastic experience through every step of the process! Beginning with the first phone call, Brent thoroughly explained the services he offered, provided a quote, and answered questions professionally and in full detail. We scheduled the inspection for the following Monday (within a couple days) and Brent was already at the house and had started working before we arrived at 9 am. He was extremely professional and his superior level of knowledge quickly became apparent as he answered questions and explained the workings of a rather large and complex home - 5,500 + square feet, 3 furnaces, 3 air conditioning units, a carriage house - the home has a well, sump pump, ejector pump, reverse osmosis systems, etc. - certainly not the easiest inspection to say the least. When the inspection was complete, Brent walked through the entire house with us and explained his findings as well as showing us all of the equipment and walking through the function of each one. A full, detailed report (about 59 pages) was provided that same evening via email. The structure of the report was very easy to work with - starting with a list of the safety hazards and then listing each item with colored photos and details of findings. He even went above and beyond by including maintenance details such as furnace filter sizes and photos of where/how to change. An inquiry after the inspection was immediately responded to via email and by phone. It is my honest opinion that this service is the best of the best - there is no reason to go anywhere else for a home inspection and to top it off - his prices were very fair and competitive.
