Description of Work: Originally Williams came out and serviced my home's original furnace. I was pleased with tech's manner and efficiency of the work he completed. As it turned out, I subsequently got an "offer" letter from Williams with a big discount on a new HVAC system (the original was pushing 20 years) so had sales person come out and decided to take advantage of their offer. My new system was installed on 12/2/2013 and I could not be more pleased. They came in removed the old system, make some vent corrections, installed the new equipment in a very timely manner And they cleaned up extremely well. I would and have recommended to friends and family to use Williams for any and all HVAC repairs and/or replacements

Description of Work: When the deal came out it, the appointment couldn't be scheduled for a long time - Dec. Then I got caught in a storm in Dallas and had to reschedule, but they informed me they couldn't fit me in until March. I ended up eating the $44.

Description of Work: I was very impressed with office staff, the men that came out to check our system and the follow up with a specialist. We needed better air flow from our air handler in the attic and he suggested leaving the "fan" on all the time to move the air since we were getting cold air, just not enough air flow! Cost - $0. We will use them in the future. Much less expensive than our previous provider who did a good job but was overly expensive and hounded us by phone for months trying to get us to sign a maintenance agreement.

Description of Work: When I called to schedule the appointment, I told the person that the a/c was not cooling. She said they would have to get it working properly before performing the service. I agreed with that. Technician came out and discovered the unit was out of freon due to a link in the system. He said it was going to be expensive to fix. I asked for the estimate and when he told me approximately $3500 to $4000. I told him no way I would put that much money into an old unit. I asked him to send a salesman out to give me a replacement cost. He then charged me $99 for a diagnostic and told me my $44 maintenance fee along with the $99 would come off the price of the new equipment. I told him since the service wasn't preformed, I would be seeking a refund period. Long story, short. I got their bid for a new system for approximately $7800. When the next vendor came out to give me an estimate, he looked at my old unit and said it could be repaired and consequently told me just under $1000. I agreed to this and the unit has been repaired. Needless to say, in addition to my refund of $44 I am not too happy with Williams Comfort Air and their technician. There were some other things told me by the technician that leads me to believe he was trying to deceive me into buying unnecessary new equipment. I will be give them a bad review.
