Description of Work: They came to check my furnace and they found like a million things wrong with it. The price to repair everything was going to be ridiculous. Like $300 for a new thermostat. Uh, no thanks. They also kept pushing this annual subscription plan. Seemed like a scam to me and he bright it up like 4 times. I had another guy come out and give a 2nd opinion. The main thing that was wrong was correct, but a lot of the suggested repairs weren't necessary. I ended up getting it fixed by another company for much cheaper and everything is working great.

Description of Work: Bought their service contract special - two maintenance HVAC vists per year. Easy to schedule, guy was nice enough, did the work well...so overall a good experience. They did leave the AC unit shell/cage a bit loose and it was SUPER loud when it ran...like a rattle. Not a huge deal, just annoying.

Description of Work: Our AC is not working very well and I call Williams Comfort Air for a checkup. The techinician arrived on time but after a very simple diagnose, told me that I need to replace the unit. The sales guy gave a very pricy quote. We ended up using another company who offered to fix the unit first and then replaced the unit with a very reasonable price.

Description of Work: A/C not working. Said we had too much refrigerant-$300. & pushed for maint. plan-$189. Repairman left & 1/2 hr. later A/C not working again.Now they said we had to replace heat pump control board. $591. which they finally reduced to $500. Then they came out on the maintenance 7-9-13 & now they said we didn't have enough refrigerant & we wouldn't pay for it since the previous year they took out refrigerant. They also were high pressure to buy a new heat pump and said since our was older, we would also have to buy a new furnace. We said no. Prices too high & way to pushy to sell maintenace agreements and new heat pump/furnace unit.

Description of Work: Whole house duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning. There was a miscommunication on appointed date and time--excuses for no show were contradictory. If not for Tina Festa's professional intervention and remediation, I would have cancelled the contract. A new appointment was secured. The two technicians who showed up presented themselves to be very respectful, pleasant and talked knowledgeably of the services; thus we outright trusted them and did not monitor while they were supposedly doing the cleaning and did not do a walk-thru after the cleaning. To my disappointment, I later discovered that they left a big mess in the basement (photos provided to company as proof). I have informed Tina that we will continue to use their plumbing and HVAC services as we have always had positive experiences with them in these two areas, but will not use their duct cleaning services again. I recommend to any future clients to closely monitor the job being performed and to not be too trustworthy. | |I applaud and appreciate Tina Festa's assistance. |

Description of Work: Came for a maintance call for an very old furnace. Found cracks and had to replace and decided to replace air conditioning as well. We have another furnace that we decided not to chance at that time but to chance this fall and will go back to Williams. The workers that came to change the systems were wonderful nice and very professional.
