Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for an Air Conditioner tune-up. I think it cost me 50 dollars at the end of may. I would not hire them again as they tried to sell me one part of air conditioner which was not damaged yet. Essentially they tried to make money out of finding irrelevant defects.

Description of Work: I was not at home when the man came by. The work was done well and quickly. The only problem is that he wrote that there was some big problem with the system that was going to cost at several hundreds of dollars to fix (the units are only three years old), and that the thermostat would cost over 3 or 4 hundred dollars to fix. I ordered one online for $100, then asked another person to come and clean the other unit and fix a the broken thermostat and mentioned the other problem that Williams comfort air told me about. After fixing and cleaning everything, Carl's son charged me less than $100. He told me it was AC 101 to know that you check the filter first -- I needed to use cheaper filters so the air could more easily flow through the unit.

Description of Work: The air conditioner was not working on Sunday. Called and got an appointment for Tuesday. They called back while I was on the way to church and said they could do it that day. Capacitor had blown. Was fixed and cool again by Sunday evening.

Description of Work: Services furnace last winter and then I purchased routine maintenance visits in Spreing and fll for the AC and heat. Did a thorough cleaning of the AC and made recomendations for additional service to increase the life of the AC and furnace. Have been here twice now, very prompt and professional.

Description of Work: Received estimate for new heat pump and furnace install. The only benefit to using Williams Comfort Air seemed to be the warranty (15 years parts and labor). The idea dissolves when it doesn't include the whole picture. I had to call back and methodically dig into details to find out that it's only valid with annual service which (correct me if I'm wrong, my apologies, I assumed) has to be provided by Williams Comfort Air. I don't trust contractors that don't include all costs and information required to make the decision.

Description of Work: They tuned up our American Standard AC system. It turned out well and scheduling was good. It took the technician 2 ½ hours to complete the tune-up, which seemed long. The technician made recommendations for the unit.

Description of Work: The service was great. The technician was very thorough, helpful, and would be glad to have him work at my home again. | |However, there were issues with the scheduling. I was told that the service would be performed between 12pm-5pm. At 6pm, I'd still not heard from Williams Comfort Air. I called several times, and they said they were running late, but they failed to call me to let me know. I took a half day off work, and they never came, so I had to reschedule several weeks later. | |Once they showed up, great service, but struggled getting them to my house.
