The initial job went well due to the girl I worked with who did the blueprint. Very helpful and cooperative. There were some flaws with the guys who did the actual job. Three arborvitae trees fell over after being planted. They came back out and replanted, however, one tree died and a few others are questionable. Some plants never came up. The contract stated, these would be replaced without cost. This is the second season, I've been trying to get them to come back and complete the job, trying to give them benefit of the doubt. However, if I do not hear from the owner by the end of Aug, I am considering a lawsuit for breach of contract.

Day before visit, we were contacted to change the appointment time. We agreed and expected to see them around 5pm. Around 5:30pm he arrived and we reviewed the project that we were looking at doing, noting that it wasn't a large project with a smaller budget. The person providing us the estimate seemed uninterested in our project and our estimate. He was there for less than 5 minutes (after being 30min late), never took any measurements, didn't provide any brochures, offer any suggestions for layout / material, etc. He shot a few pictures on his cell phone, provided a card and said he'd be in touch. It's now been 10 days and we haven't heard anything from this company. No estimate ever provided. No further communication. We shouldn't have to chase business or estimates.

I was in charge of the contract with them last year. We had a couple of different companies here. One other company was doing the fertilization. I presented to the board that we just use one company. We got the bids from both these companies for everything and both were about the same. The only convincing thing was that Wild Ridge was locally owned. So, anytime I had any concerns, I called them and was able to talk to Joe, the owner. It was not bad with the other company but was a little hard to get through to somebody. It was a bigger company and we usually dealt with the branch manager and so forth. Wild Ridge had better customer service. We had some problem with the lawn fertilization as he contracted that out. Other services were fine. We talked to him about his price and he did come down. We talked to him about who he is contracting with. Other bids have also come in and I am not on the board this year. But we did tell him that we would like to keep him but we were not happy with the person that he had contracted for lawn fertilization.

,.We have at least six very large trees in our yard plus five smaller ones. We are older adults who are not able to remove that many leaves. We have tried, in various years to mow them up; however, it creates too much mulch and kills the grass. We had companies that removed the leaves, but they were charging too much. We decided to go to Angies List and get estimates, which we did. The quotes were over $1000 to $600.00 and we were ready to just give up when we talked to Rachael at Wild Ridge. She advised that Joe would come out at a certain time and date. When the time arrived, Rachael called and stated that Joe was sorry, but he would not be able to come at the agreed time, but would come the following day, if that was okay. I told her I understood and appreciated her calling to let us know, and we agreed to another day the following week. When that time arrived, Joe did not show up so I called Rachael and she apologized and asked if Joe can come by later in the evening. I told her that would be fine. He did arrive and was very professional and apologized for the previous times he missed. He seemed to be very kind and appreciative of the work and gave us an estimate of $320.00! We agreed, and they came out with four men. It took them over two hours and they were very hard workers. We know how busy that time of year can be for these providers. If it wasn't for Rachael, we may have not even given him the chance to give us an estimate; but she was so nice and kind that we decided to go ahead, which we are glad we did. We would definately use him again and we will overlook his lack of promptness since we were impressed by his services and Rachael!

I am pleased with the work and believe we have solved our flooding issue. My only critiques are that They are not good at proactive communication. I often had to call them to find out what was going to happen and when. I would use these folks again. The owner is an honest person and I am overall very happy with the outcome.

Everything was excellent. In general, they were very attentive, knowledgeable and the price was okay. I got value for the money.

We spent about $8,000 on that work. Overall the job was done well and the job was finished and if there were any issues there would add that to the bill. We bought on e thing and another thing got done and it all looked beautiful, but wasn’t originally. We have learned since then what we need to be aware of like using good top soil and the back silt from what they dug up from the work. You need to make sure when you are planting and that they are really aware of them and need to work around it. It was a communication problem that so we went to someone else.

Called and made appt for estimate. Mr. Wildridge showed up on time and surveyed the work site. Got an email estimate from Mr. Wildrigde two days later. I accepted the estimate via email and he responded they would come out the following week depending on weather and he would let me know when they were coming. It has now been over a month and Mr. Wildridge and his company are a no show no call.

I placed calls to get quotes to start doing a regular job at my house. They were prompt at returning my call and got out that day to do a quote. We went with another company, but I appreciated their prompt attention and professionalism.
