Overall, I was pleased with the service, but I think their rates are a bit high. This was my first time having my A/C unit serviced, so maybe it's just expensive, but I was caught a little off guard when the technician gave me the total. They came out relatively quickly and the technician was thorough. All that was needed was a little maintenance on my outside A/C unit. Nothing major. I was considering using White's to come out and clean my air ducts, but will likely look for someone else as I fear they will be too pricey.

We used them yesterday during this very hot period to repair our air conditioner. They were here within two hours. We were afraid that we would need a new unit, but their technician located the problem immediately, went to get the part, and completed the job promptly. Everything works fine now for less than $200. The system would not take their website which is www.whvac.biz. Please give them our very positive rating.

I am not happy with the service provided. I called White's and told them exactly what was wrong, that the backflow preventer on my boiler was leaking and probably needed replaced. They sent a serviceman, who did not have the part with him. He then had to leave to go pick up the part. He came back, installed the new part in 20 minutes, and in the process I get charged from the time he showed up, went to pick up the part, and install it - 1 hour and 20 minutes of labor for a part that take 20 minutes to fix.
Description of Work: Replaced a backflow preventer on my boiler.

A repairman was able to come to my house the same day that I called. Paul was prompt, professional and very nice. He explained how the parts of my very old furnace worked without being condescending and without pressuring me to replace the furnace with a new one. My furnace had been squeaking horribly, and he recommended trying to replace the belt (a very cheap repair) first before talking about the replacing the blower motor (the more expensive repair). On the first visit he replaced the blower belt and oiled it up. A few days later it was still squeaking, and he came out to oil the new belt again without charging any service charge. The squeaking didn't stop so I finally had him replace the rest of the parts. All along the way I felt in control of the situation and not pressured to make any decision (something that is very important to me as a single woman homeowner).
