Wonderful. Joe was terrific and honest to work with on what was needed. Harold did a great job on installation.

It went very well. The order took roughly three weeks to be completed. Joe was very attentive and answered all of our questions promptly throughout the process. The installer, Harold, did phenomenal work. For the sliding glass door, there was additional floor work which he completed.

I found this window vendor by looking through the various evaluations and assessments of different window companies on Angies' List. I interviewed several vendors over a 2 year span before I made a decision because of the number of windows and the look I was attempting to maintain. I did not know Joe ,the owner, or the Weatherguard Windows & Doors company until I met him. I invited him into my home solely on what I read in the reviews of his business. He was extremely punctual, hands-on, communicative, informative, pleasant and personable. He brought samples of his product to my home so that my wife and I could have a visual and tangible concept of what we were purchasing. The project was started and completed on time with a very professional and hard working crew. The job was well done. I would definitely use him again. Honestly, he was $2000- $4000 cheaper for my specific project than some of the other A listers on Angies List using the same product. I deliberately delayed my review considerably to assess what the winter weather(relatively mild) and the spring-summer rains(voluminous and blowing at times) would do to the workmanship and product that was supplied. There are no problems and I am very pleased and satisfied. I would recommend this vendor and would definitely use him again.

Everything was great! Joe is super nice and personable, as well as professional and responsive. He gave us a lot of information to choose the right windows for our needs. His installers were great and also very professional. They did a wonderful job and our custom windows arrived sooner than expected. We are thrilled with the results and have already recommended him to our neighbors.

Joe Murphy was prompt for the initial appointment for the estimate and explained the process. I told him we were going to get competing bids with other Angie's List "A" Rated providers. After comparing all the bids and researching the windows suggested, WeatherGuard had the best product for the price. The replacement windows are all energy efficient, energy star rated, low e, argon gas filled with insulated frames. Joe came to our home and we awarded him the bid and he gave us the time line. We had an eyebrow window which was not standard. He had his "measuring guy" come out to verify his measurements and draw a diagram and template to send to the window manufacturer, American Windows of Evansville, IN. The windows arrived earlier than promised and Joe called to schedule the installation. The installation went very well and the installer and his crew were very professional and knowledgable. The installer explained the process and answered my questions. He also determined that the original homebuilder contractor installed front windows were the culprits for some water staining. Apparently, the homebuilder didn't properly seal the eyebrow window to the lower single-hung windows. My new windows were mulled at the factory and came in one unit, i.e. the eyebrow was already attached to the lower double-hung windows. The finishing around the windows looks great and WeatherGuard uses higher quality open-cell spray-in insulation around the window openings. The windows look great. And, the outdoor sound has been greatly reduced due to the quality of the windows and installation.

It went really well, and had it not been for the factory messing up on of the windows (wrong size), it would have been absolutely perfect. Even so, we had everything installed less than two weeks later. And we absolutely love the results. Joe and his team are a great group of guys. They are all very professional. Joe came out and gave us several different options for both doors and windows. A few days later on of his team came out to take measurements, that took hardly any time at all. And about two weeks after that the windows/doors were ready to be put in. For six double windows, a bay window and two smaller windows, and two French doors, they were done in a day. They protected our floors, inside and out. And they cleaned up very nicely after themselves. We will definitely use Joe and his team when we are having more windows replaced. Lisa L and Willam L

The whole experience was top quality. Communication was timely, installers were prompt and did an excellent job, and Joe is very professional and honest. There was follow-up communication from the time Joe gave me a quote to after installation. The only hitch was sliding door screen is one inch too short (factory defect) but Joe immediately notified me and ordered another one. I highly recommend them and will use them again.

Excellent job on siding. Extremely happy with the product and work. Looks great. Love the color, just as the sample showed. Job was completed sooner than scheduled. Did a great job on windows, as well. Once again, job was completed sooner than scheduled. Had 2 crews out to get job done in 1 day. Great job overall.

Joe assessed the problems with a bay window that needed to be replaced (broken seal and rotted sash) and recommended the best and most cost effective solution. He worked with me to get HOA approval quickly. His team did a first rate job installing.

We really can't say enough good things about this company. Joe is very professional, personable and most of all honest. He never once tried to push a more expensive window on us. We knew what we wanted and if anything he suggested ways for us to save money. He took his time and listened. He is so likeable you can sit and just talk to him all day. Most importantly; my husband wanted to have a sliding glass door installed where our master bedroom window is, that way we can walk out to the back yard and have a little patio sitting area. I didn't think it would be a easy or inexpensive because it entailed cutting through brick and so forth. When Joe came out to give us an estimate, he listened, and evaluated the area and said not a problem in fulfilling this request. We got a quote from another company ( got their bid before Joe's) and I about fell out of my chair looking at the cost and this didn't even include the door installation. I told my husband there is NO WAY we can afford to do the windows. Joe's quote came the next day and it was $4,000 less and this is with the door installation. I could not believe the price hike the first company was trying to pull and they quoted the same brand and style windows. I was more than happy knowing we could actually replace the windows with Joe ( which were from the 80's and original in the house) my husband was more excited about the walk out patio door. We ordered the windows and door and approx. 6 weeks later, Joe's team was out at the house making our house look great. The installers did a fantastic job, and the windows look fabulous. They were very patient with my barking dogs while they were trying to work. We actually get to walk out of our bedroom to our backyard now. I would most definitely highly recommend this company to EVERYONE! You will not be sorry.

This company was a pleasure to do business with! Pricing was very fair and their customer service and workmanship are excellent. Joe, the owner, personally contacted me several times throughout the process to keep me updated, answer questions, and make sure we were satisfied with the end result. He provided a detailed and exact estimate during our first meeting. He had material catalogs with him, so I knew the brand name, look and quality of the materials that he would use for my job. The crew that did our door install was top-notch--on time, friendly, and very detail oriented. We are very happy with the look and quality of our new entry.

We had an excellent experience. Communication was awesome and prompt. We had had three other quotes and this one was very reasonable and we had a great first impression when Joe originally came to give us a quote. The overall experience has been fantastic. Joe came out and gave us ideas on how we could make this window functioning and bigger to add fresh air and light. He came up with a solution that we loved and would give us the most "bang for our buck". Kevin and his assistants came out to cut the concrete to install the new 80" window. No one could have been better. They were very concerned with keeping things clean (it is very messy) and attending to every detail. This was not an easy or standard type job, and they were incredible! It was cut precisely, window installed correctly and trimmed out perfectly. Thank you so much for such an awesome change to this room! Joe is very honest, attentive, professional and funny. Kevin is the best installer that you will ever find for difficult projects like this one. We are going to replace all of our 45 year old windows with WeatherGuard! They are fantastic to work with!!

Joe and his crew were very professional in all communications and installation. Joe made numerous trips out over the course of our decision to first install an entry door, then windows. We appreciated his prompt response throughout and quality of installation. We have thoroughly enjoyed the ease and cleaning of our windows and their thermal quality over the winter. We will definitely recommend Weatherguard for window and door replacement.

The only reason we didn't hire him is because he only does replacements and was honest enough to tell us that we should seek out someone to do a repair job. That there was no reason to replace the window as it could be repaired. I will be keeping his contact info should the need arise in the future and to recommend to friends.

Joe was prompt to respond to our needs throughout the entire process from presentation of products to installation. The installers (Kevin and Zach) are outstanding. We are having 10 windows replaced on second story of home this fall.

Using Angie's List to search for an excellent window installer and the internet to research what goes into finding a quality window and various manufacturers, we decided to use WeatherGuard Windows & Doors. Joe Murphy has a long history of excellent reviews, and we can understand why. First of all, Joe is very well spoken, friendly, and knowledgeable about windows. He was able to clearly answer our questions about the technical aspects of the windows he provides and not beat around the bush with vague answers. We're they type of people that like very specific and direct answers. Joe was prompt in responding to us either by phone or e-mail ( usually the same day, or at the latest, the next day). We also wanted someone that has years in the business and has a committed crew that does excellent work (his installers have been with him for years). We had Alside "Mezzo Series" with ClimaTech glass installed. We wanted sliders (they make a room look more spacious). A large one was installed in the master and smaller ones for each of the two bedrooms. Joe's installer, Steve V. did a wonderful job of measuring and installing. His team was quick, courteous, and respectful of our home. When we replace our front door, we'll be calling on this company!

Joe and his installers were not only professional but courteous and friendly. Follow up is a plus with this company! There is a genuine concern and goal for customer satisfaction. Our experience leaves us a little disappointed in only one area. THAT WE DO NOT NEED NEW WINDOWS MORE OFTEN!! We would not hesitate to call them for any future needs and HIGHLY recommend them to EVERYONE!!

They arrived on time, worked very efficiently. They were able to complete most of the windows the first day. The second day they completed the insulating of the wlndows and and installed the patio door. The workmanship is very good and the house feels warmer already. I would recommend them to anyone.

The service was absolute superb. Joe was the abosulte best to work with I was most impressed with their people. Extremely punctual both Joe and his staff if they tell you the time they will be there a few minutes early. They did such a great job I have ordered more windows from them.

Joe responded quickly to my call and set up an appointment for an estimate to replace our windows. Joe provided us with several options for replacement windows and pricing for each option. We made our decision to hire Weatherguard after checking with a friend that had also used Weatherguard for window replacement. (We found out from the list of references provided by Joe that our friend had used this company) We paid 1/2 of the cost up front for the materials to be ordered. Measurements were done within the week, and Joe estimated that our windows would be replaced in about 6-8 weeks. Joe kept us advised of progress via email and the windows were replaced in approx 6 weeks. Work was completed in one day. They were neat, cleaned up and disposed of the old windows. The windows look and operate nicely. We paid $10/window extra to have the blinds taken down and rehung--our choice to do it ourselves or have the workers do this. It is definately worth the extra $. They did a nice job with the blinds too. The guarantees for replacment damage or malfunction are very good. So far, no problems.

Joe came over to assess the project, provide an estimate of needed repair and cost of replacement of our doors. We also needed the glass replaced in one of our windows and though his team was unable to help - he referred us to a team of experts who could: Cook's Glass did an EXCELLENT job with our window glass replacement. When the doors we ordered were ready for installation Team-Steve did a wonderful job repairing the door jambs and installing our doors and storm doors (6 doors installed in one day!) The doors are GORGEOUS and they look like they have been here all along. The outward appearance of our house has taken on a more sophisticated look. Definitely a big improvement! We?ve been wanting to upgrade our doors for a long, long time ? we are happy TeamWeatherguard was able to help us! Joe is a nice guy ? he knows his product and his team. He instills trust and good faith. We selected him because of his excellent ratings in Angie?s List. Kudos to him and his team! I was disappointed with 6-8 week wait for the doors to arrive and for the installation to begin. They say good things come to those who wait. We are very pleased with the results. Joe (owner) was very responsive and patient with us throughout the process. He was always available to answer any question my wife or I had. I had received quotes from 3 other companies. Weatherguard provided the exact same windows as others were quoting me for about 20-30% less expensive. I was a bit apprehensive because of the large quote discrepancies; however, everything from the product, to the service, the sale and installation was excellent. Another great benefit is the fact the installers are Weatherguard installers. They are not subcontractors. Not that subcontractors work is inferior; however, I didn't want to experiment with the salesman, windows manufacturer and installers all working for separate companies with different interests. The installers showed up on time and were very efficient with their work. Only took 2 days for all work. No mess was left behind. The owner even came out to check the work. Very great small business to work with and keep things local. Will recommend to anyone looking for replacement windows!

We priced Lowes and Menards, neither came close either in window quality or labor costs. Workmanship was fine.
