Description of Work: we have been fighting a leak in our office for years. People would come to fix it and just could not figure out the problem. This company came out found the problem and repaired it. Highly suggest them!

Description of Work: They checked for loose shingles, installed missing siding boards. and checked for roof problems. It went well. They also found a bees nest inside the porch roof and recommended removing it in the fall.

Description of Work: Cleaned gutters and replaced gutter guards. The original guards had not worked and the installer was out of business. The original installer had been "A" rated on Angie's List. House Mechanics replaced the old guards with a newer type that will prevent problems we experienced with the old guards.

Description of Work: I had a leak in my roof that was in a particular location that I hoped he could pinpoint. He showed me where the leak was and explained why it was leaking, which was a mistake made by the builder at the time the house was built. He fixed the problem and also replaced a couple of shingles that had come loose on another section of the roof. It was a great outcome for me.

Description of Work: All of the gutters were cleaned, old screens were removed, and some of the gutters were fastened more securely to the house. Rain water has been running through all the gutters -- some of which have been plugged for quite a while. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

Description of Work: This is the second tear-off and roofing job done by House Mechanics for us. Both times we have been pleased. They are very knowledgeable at working with insurance companies and found damage the insurance missed.

Description of Work: We were contacted by phone x 1, to schedule, but my husband elected to wait a couple weeks due to still lots of leaves on trees. We were never contacted again, and there was no paperwork confirming when or if they came, but my husband went out today to check the lower level gutters, and it was obvious, the lower gutters were cleaned. |We can only assume, the upper level gutters were cleaned, but since we were not here, or told of the date, we have no way of knowing for sure. ( The upper gutters are the ones we can't do easily ourselves and are willing to pay!) | |In the future, We would appreciate a call confirming exact date they were coming, and a paper or note saying the job was completed, if we were not home. Description of Work: Cleaned my gutters and replaced some missing screws. They missed one screw on a downspout, and it fell off after the first rain. The good news is they PROMPTLY performed the necessary repair, making all the appropriate apologies. They appear to be good, honest folks.
