The owner was extremely professional and pleasant on the phone. He scheduled time for the work within days of my phone call. His crew did a good job cleaning the roof and gutters, but I didn't see any minor repairs on the gutters, which was included in the cost. I also heard the guys complaining about the work.

I purchased one of the "Big Deals" from Angie's List for this provider, but before I purchased the deal, I called the provider. I was impressed when I first talked to the owner and made sure I knew the services I'd be getting. In addition to a cleaning and tune-up, I asked if they they would be able to assess my additional gutter needs as this is an old home and we just moved in. I also asked if they would offer suggestions for additional downspouts that might be needed, etc. The answer was yes. Due to the harsh winter, I knew it would take a few weeks for them to be able to schedule and I was fine with that. They communicated via the website that they would be in touch to schedule. However, instead of scheduling, two employees just showed up one day. Luckily I was here. But not that lucky because they were focused on cleaning the gutters and getting out of there ASAP. They said they couldn't assess my gutter needs and told me to call the owner. I did. When I got on the phone with the owner, he told me that's what they're supposed to say and that they only get about half of the "deal" on Angie's List, so they're just trying to get the job done and move on. That's fine, but it's not what I was told the experience would be like when I originally talked to the owner. The owner said he would call his employees. After that, they did say my second level couldn't be guttered due to the angle of the fascia but that an additional downspout might be a good idea and that if I wanted a quote, to call the owner. Also, the employees cleaned out my gutters, but they flung the clumps of partially frozen leaves all over my yard. I would think a cleaning would not mean a re-distribution of the mess, but an actual clean-up.

They came out to look at the roof but then told me that I was actually going to need a whole new roof.

We had scheduled for the next day for him to fix our roof but I got a call late in the evening and he said that he could come out in 30 minutes.....I was so happy! He did it so fast I was surprised that he was here and done! He was very good, friendly and professional. If I need my roof fixed again or any of my neighbors I will call him!

They randomly showed up at my house, which I thought was strange. I had a baby napping so it wasn't a real convenient time, but I told them to just do it anyway. When I asked why they showed up they said they didn't have a number to contact me. I appreciated them being on top of things and get the job done ASAP, but it would have been nice to plan around it or at least have a notice they were coming. I felt uncomfortable having a group of men show up at my house, not knowing what they needed or were doing. They got the cleaning and repairs done quickly and cleaned up after themselves. I had some gutter repair questions for the guy and he didn't seem to know anything about adding gutters/downspouts. He told me to call his boss to get a quote, his boss said he would come out and take a look, but never showed up. They did a good job at what I paid them to do-clean and make repairs on my gutters, but I probably would not call them to do work again.

They had to break up the ice to get the leaves out of my gutters. They cleaned up most of the debris that dropped. One of the workers sat on one of my lounge chairs which is fine, but they moved it and did not put it back. Also, they used very foul language.

It went good. They came out before the winter. They did the job. I would use them again.

We purchased the big deal coupon for this service and it was okay as far as we know. However we were in Georgia when they came and it was Christmas time. We haven’t been able to look and see what they did because of the weather. The weather warmed up for a few days, and so they sent an email and got the job done. By the time we got back, the weather was awful. 1.15 to 1.19. We have had a lot of snow. We thought the price was fair. It was a good one.

I assume it went well. I wasn't home when they did it.

Due to cold weather and waiting for a break in the weather, the workmen came to my house without notice so I wasn't there when they came to clean out the gutters. I said that I wanted to be notified before hand but that did not happen. I specifically mentioned a simple repair was needed on the downspout clamp. That was not repaired. Due to cold weather, I have not gotten the ladder out to see how well they cleaned the gutters.

They did a good job. We were very satisfied. We were got at the time and we came home and it had been done. But he’d been calling for like a month before so they came out in the time we thought. We were satisfied that they came out before the weather got really bad. We’re happy with their promptness in coming out.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List. They came out and did what they were supposed to do. I did not pay anything other than the big deal purchase. They cleaned up after themselves. It was great. They did a fine job. Hopefully, I can get them on another special for next year.

They came in a timely fashion. They did not check with me when they left; I just looked out and they were gone. They also did not clean up all the area around the gutters. There were some leaves and things. They probably had sold a lot of those specials that Angie's List had on there and they were probably in a hurry to get it done between weather attacks. I certainly got my money’s worth. I thought they would check with me before they left because I was going to ask them a couple of things. They were very nice men. They were probably trying to get a whole bunch done between the weather. They didn’t even ask me for the coupon. They just said that they were there to do it as I already paid online. There were no additional charges.

Our appointment was not made through the contractor initially for the weather had been so unpredictable, with the recent 4 inch snow, there was much ice and snow on the rooftop and gutters. However, House Mechanics stayed in contact with us via email messages through Angie's List to assure us that they would schedule appointments as soon as a thaw would occur. A small window of thawing occurred over the weekend and House Mechanics was doing drive bys to see if we would accept them performing these services. I was just thinking about calling them before they showed up, thinking that I might get lucky to having them fit us in over the next week. But what I got was a pleasant surprise in that they showed up based upon their own initiative and did a fabulous job!! Quickly! Professionally and very thorough!! They explained the entire process and the gutters were in tip top shape after they were completed their services. They also pointed out a small roof material anomally that would require attention, possibly saving me costly repairs later on down the road!! WOW What a great service provider!!! Iwould highly recommend these folks for your gutter roofing needs!!

They arrived, a group of three, to inspect & clean my gutters. Not only did they hand clean them but also used a blower to completely rid the gutters of debris. They were very pleasant & professional and were done in no time. All the debris was removed from my property. You wouldn't have known they had been there except for the clean gutters. Will definitely keep their number for next season!

3 men came by to clean gutters on my house and garage. They were quick, thorough and did not leave a mess.

Not much else to say. They came to thre house and cleaned the gutters.

They came and looked at my gutters and told me that I just had a small amount that had to be cleaned. But they told me the length of the gutters were a lot longer than what I paid for so I decided to get a refund. They were honest with me and I appreciated that. I would consider using them for a different job other than gutter cleaning.

Weather was part of the delay. we were told by the salesman, that there would be a member of upper management present whenever the roofers were there working. that didn't happen. We were told that the greatest care would be taken to assure that all the roofing nails would be picked up and that materials would be thrown in an onsite dumpster. We are still picking up nails around the house and the garage. We have horses and goats and can not afford for them to pick up a nail in their hooves!!!! we had a magnet on a roller that disappeared while the workers were there so had to buy another one to clean up the nails.... had to have them come back out to fix a leak inside the house because they didn't do something right in the familyroom ceiling area on the roof. the splashing around the chimney is done sloppy. they had to come back and do the rolled rubber roof on the enclosed porch and finally came and did that after we had to call them twice... Hopefully if there is ever a need for these types of services again there will be more options available to us in our area. so many of the companys we really wanted to use were so busy they just couldn't get to us and cold weather months were coming fast so we had to settle. another thing we were told by the salesman was that the company would deal with the mortgage company and the insurance company to get their payment. Well, we had to do it all and that might have been because the mortgage company we have is so slow at returning checks for services so I will give the House Mechanic's the benefit of the doubt on that one. we started the whole process in may 2012 and didn't get our roof's done until the end of the year.

It was a good experience. They did a fine job. It was good.

The overall experience was very good. Bone Dry had plenty of manpower to complete the job in 1 day.

He is truly a craftsman. He charged very little for his services. I will continue to use him in the future.
