Price was by far the best. The crew was on time and worked until dark to finish the job in one day. A window was broken but Roy provided ample credit to repair it (I did have to contract that work to another company). Four years later there was a small leak that appeared due to poorly installed flashing in one spot. The Walker's came out and made the repair for no charge. Pretty good service after 4 years! Most companies would find some reason not to take responsibility. Walker and Sons were by far the best deal. Granted there was a broken window and subsequent repair, but accidents happen. No major work goes perfectly and they took care of the problems without any argument.

They did a goo job. They showed up on time, cleaned up their mess and were neat and tidy. We paid the amount they quoted us.

Their installation went fine. I wanted to see a picture of wrapped windows before they started but, they didn't have one. So I didn't like the look of the overlapping technique and was thankful I only installed windows in the back of my house.

They were great! The price was reasonable.

They made it out two days after I called. They didn't call to say they were coming, but it worked out in my case since I happened to be home. They were very professional and quick. Overall, it was a good experience.

We were very pleased with the professionalism of Roy Walker and his sons Randy and Bryan. They had another installer on the job by the name of Donny and he was an excellent workman too. We have received several complements from our neighbors on how nice our house looks. They installed shutters that we had purchased at no extra cost. I have to mention that Roy Walker and I have the same last name, but we are not related and this report is completely objective.

The project went very well, and I am very happy with his company.

I think they are trustworthy. Mr. Walker actually comes to the job, he doesn't just send his employees. I thought their prices were reasonable.

Roy Walker is a gentleman. He didn't pressure us or rush off to another appointment but took the time to answer our questions and make friendly small talk. He knows his business and displays an honesty that is rare these days. His price was fair. Other companies wouldn't put up aluminum or didn't want the job unless it was the entire house. Roy was able to fit our job in his schedule within a month. The work was done within one day. The siding looks great. Cleanup was excellent. I really like that they start only one job at a time and stick with it until finished.

Mr. Walker is very pleasant to work with. We picked out the color with him on Saturday (noon). The shingles and work crew arrived on Monday morning, to begin the job. The work crew on day #1 were greeted by light rain in the afternoon. They worked hard and well after dark, to ensure that the house was rain-proof. They returned after the weather dried out (2nd day later) and finished the job. Clean up was very good. The crew spent significant amounts of time, picking pieces of roofing from within the flower beds and evergreens along the front of the house. They used the rolling magnet to pickup any nails in the driveway/walk areas. And the gutters were blown clear of debris. Mr. Walker spent some time with a blower, helping the grass (which had matted down under the tarps of debris being dragged to the truck) stand back upright. I am very pleased with this job performance. Mr. Walker provided 2 roof vents for the garage, without additional charge.

We previously used this company for 6" gutter replacement. Mr Walker returned out call quickly, scheduled atime to comeand and was on time. Friendly thorough estimate. We chose a different Angie's List company to do the work. (We previously had this other company complete a major roof repair).

Roy was great to work with, straightforward and honest. He went out of his way to show me different examples of colors, etc. And to accommodate my schedule, they did a great job and were competitively priced.

We need a new roof on our house. I have called several roofers to come out for an estimate before making a final decision. I called and left a message on the voice mail on Monday morning. I got a call back from Roy around 3 pm the same day. He told me he would be out either Tuesday or Wednesday this week. Roy showed up today (Tuesday)and took a detailed estimate for a new roof and gutters. He gave me the estimate of $11K for the roof and $2k for the gutters. He also informed me we need about 55 squares for our house. He noted problems with other areas that need to be addressed also. Roy was very polite and did not try to push me for a decision. Based on my conversation with him, I believe he would do a good job. If I choose his company I will report back a final report.

I called Walker and Son's to take a look at it. The gentleman told me immediately that there was nothing wrong with the gutter boards, he didn't even look at them. I kept trying to call. He said he would come out at his convenience but wouldn't set up an appointment. When he finally did come I was busy teaching a class. He told one of my students that there was nothing wrong with the boards. He did admit that there was something wrong with the gutter apron but it wasn't his fault. He was agitated on the phone and hung up. He requested that my specialist meet with him and that if he was right I would have to pay a service call. The company that is redoing my roof suggested just to redeck the area on the lower part so that it would put the boards above the gutter board. I said that if we were going to do that we should redeck the whole thing. Basically, I am not asking him to lower the gutter boards, I just want some sort of partial financial contribution toward the redecking.

They were quick, economical, and took care of the situation. We had a difficult situation, but they were able to do the work.

Called us back with in a day to set a time to come and do an estimate. Was right on time. Couldn't have been nicer. Said just send us a check when you see your new gutters up. Gutters were up two days later. The gutters look great. We couldn't be happier. They deserve an A+ in every category.

Roy and his crew were there when they said they would be. Did the job well and in a timely manner, at an incredibly reasonable price. I highly recommend Walker and Sons!

GUTTERS WERE REMOVED FROM HOUSE, THEN MENTIONED THAT ROOF NEEDED TO BE REPLACED BEFORE GUTTERS PUT BACK ON. LED TO A LOT OF SCRAMBLING ON MY PART TO TRY TO GET THIS DONE.

CALLED TO REQUEST QUOTE FOR SIDING REPLACEMENT. MR WALKER PROMPTLY CAME TO RESIDENCE, REVIEWED THE JOB, WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. HE SAID HE WOULD GET BACK TO ME WITH A QUOTE. THAT WAS ON MAY 25TH, (APPROX 4 MONTHS AGO). NEVER HEARD FROM WALKER AND SONS SINCE.

CALLED TO REQUEST QUOTE. NO LIVE PERSON ON PHONE. LEFT MESSAGE. NEVER RETURNED CALL. STILL WAITING...

UPON INITIAL CONTACT, THE OWNER SAID THEY WERE SCHEDULED ABOUT THREE WEEKS OUT. IN THREE WEEKS, HE CONTACTED US. WE DID NOT HAVE TO FOLLOW UP. THE WORK WAS EXCELLENT AND ON TIME. WE RECEIVED ESTIMATES FROM 4 GUTTER COMPANIES, AND WALKER'S PRICE WAS VERY COMPETITIVE. I ONLY HAVE ONE SLIGHTLY NEGATIVE COMMENT. I HAD TO PICK UP SEVERAL PIECES OF SHARP ALUMINUM IN THE YARD WHERE THE INSTALLERS WERE CUTTING THE GUTTER. THIS IS PRETTY MINOR TO ME. WE WOULD ABSOLUTELY USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

I LEFT A MESSAGE, BUT THEY NEVER RETURNED MY CALL OR FOLLOWED UP.

WHEN WE CALLED TO SCHEDULE AN ESTIMATE, ROY CAME OUT IN 2 DAYS, JUST LIKE HE SAID. WHEN WE CALLED TO SCHEDULE THE JOB, ROY TOLD US THAT HE COULD GET TO US IN 3 WEEKS. AT THE 3 WEEK MARK WE CALLED TO FIND OUT THE STATUS AND WERE TOLD THAT RAIN PUT THEM BEHIND, BUT THAT THEY'D GET TO US BY THE END OF THE WEEK AND THAT HE WOULD CALL BEFORE THEY CAME, SINCE WE INDICATED THAT WE WANTED TO BE HOME WHEN THE WORK WAS PERFORMED. THE END OF THE WEEK CAME AND WENT SO WE CALLED AGAIN AND WERE TOLD THAT THEY'D GET TO US BY THE END OF THE FOLLOWING WEEK. AGAIN, NO CALL AND NO WORK DONE BY THE END OF THE WEEK. HOWEVER, THE NEXT MONDAY WHEN WE ARRIVED HOME FROM WORK WE HAD NEW GUTTERS AND DOWNSPOUTS WITH GUTTER COVERS. LATER THAT NIGHT WE ALSO HAD A MESSAGE INFORMING US THAT THE WORK HAD BEEN COMPLETED. THEY DO GOOD WORK, BUT WE DIDN'T LIKE NOT KNOWING WHEN THEY WERE GOING TO GET TO US. AL WEB SITE INDUCATES THAT THEY OFFER A 5% DISCOUNT TO AL MEMBERS. WE GOT A DISCOUNT, BUT IT WAS ABOUT 3.5%

ROY WALKER WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND POLITE. THE ESTIMATE WAS FAIR AND COMPETITIVE. THE WORKERS WERE POLITE AND EFFICIENT. THE CLEAN UP WAS GOOD.

RECEIVED AN ESTIMATE VERY QUICKLY. WHILE WAITING FOR OTHER ESTIMATES TO COME IN.
