old couch, fabric and cushions were in bad shape. Vitian came to the house and brought books of fabric swatches. very friendly and pleasant. had some good ideas about fabric and decorative options. she quoted 4-6 weeks for completion and the couch was ready at 6 weeks. was prompt in providing follow-up information and in responding to email inquiry. we will definitely contact her again for future projects.

In late August, I contacted the owner regarding re-upholstering 4 dining room chairs. I also went to her shop with a paper outlined of one of the chair seat so she could have an idea of the sizes of my chair seats. She spent a considerable amount of time with me. She advised me regarding types of fabric and helped me look through many samples. Told me precisely the steps she would take in doing work for me. Told me about how long the job would take from the time she received the chairs. Once the fabric was ordered and the chairs were delivered to her, she completed the work a few days short of the promised date. I am very happy with the excellent job done by Vitian's Re-Upholstery.

She came to my home, brought some samples, and then took the chairs with her. She had to rebuild 2 seats and reupholstered 12 chairs. She returned the chairs completed on schedule with no issues.

The entire process was very pleasurable and professional. She came to my home for the estimate and was very helpful in selecting the material. Work was completed as promised and of excellent quality. I would use her again.

The selection process went well. Price was higher than what I expected. Workmanship was great!

I sent pictures via email to get a quote and they were very quick to respond. I dropped off the ottoman to repair 2 ripped seams. When we received it back, it was repaired and it looked decent. After about a month, however, 2 other seams that were not part of the repair began to come apart. One of the original buttons that had been reattached crumbled off as well. This was with light use. I finally contacted Vitian's and explained what was going on. They took the ottoman back and took another look at it and determined the leather was damaged at all the intersecting seams, that the thread had been compromised, and that this would probably happen on all the seams eventually. They determined it was irreparable and the only option was to reupholster it. While I appreciate their honesty that the ottoman was beyond saving, it's just unfortunate that we had to waste the initial $150 to find that out.

I inherited wicker patio furniture from a family member. The furniture was in great shape but the fabric on the cushions was faded. I called Vitian and she came out to my house to select fabrics and take the cushions back to her shop. Vitian is very knowledgeable and helped me select a fabric that I liked and would hold up on a covered porch. After a few weeks the shop called and said the cushions were ready for pick up. When I arrived for pick up Vitian went over the fabric care instructions and loaded the cushions into my car.

I called Vitian because we had purchased a custom couch which was attractive but uncomfortable. The store I bought it from had gone out of business. I hoped that she could replace the cushions to make it more comfortable. She came out, tested the couch, then explained that replacing the cushions was not the way to go. She recommended that instead of avoiding the couch as we had been doing, we should be sitting on it more and "breaking it in". Instead of taking on an expensive job, she recommended a no-cost solution! She also repaired a chair and footstool for us, and did a great job. She picked up and delivered on time. I recommend Vitian for her professionalism, experience and high quality work.

It was more expensive than I thought it would be. I think the lady charged me about the same as if I hadn't purchased the Big Deal. I should have gotten three estimates. They came and picked up the chair and delivered it when it was done. They came right on time. The work was done. It was for a Scandinavian chair with just a seat and back that needed to be re-upholstered. The lady was very pleasant, but I was just put off by cost.

I took a cushion there to be refilled. The next day they called and said the cushion was a back cushion and asked me to bring in the seat cushion I wanted to be refilled. When I took the correct cushion in they said it was fine and sent me on my way. Because of their honesty I saved over $175.00. S.B .

they came to my home to pick up the chairs. Samples of fabric were shown with the pros and cons of different fabrics. Plenty of time was given to allow me to select the new fabric for my chairs. I was sent cleaning instructions for the fabric I chose. The chairs look really nice. I am very pleased with them.

My wife was very well satisfied. She was very pleased with the service. From my wife’s feedback, I know she very much appreciated the timeliness and the quality of the work. It was a very good price. He was a good person and he was very punctual. My wife had a good relationship with the provider and it was a very pleasurable experience.

Everything turned out nicely. They are very beautiful done and I am satisfied with the results. She was very helpful in finding good complimentary colors and she was great to work with. She took the chairs with her and brought them back in a timely manner. She gave very personalized service.

My great grandfather's wing back chair was in bad shape. It had springs sticking out the bottom of the chair, the cats had used it as a scratching post and it was stored in a basement for many years. This chair was purchased used by my great grandfather in the 1930's. Vitian came out to my house in Martinsville and gave me a quote (which was higher than I hoped, but within the range of what I expected to pay). I probably wouldn't pay that much if it didn't have that much sentimental value. She helped me pick out a fabric that was neutral to fit my decor, that would be sturdy considering the pets that I have and yet was very soft and plush. She loaded up the chair and took it away. During the process of disassembling the chair they came across some dead fleas, but Vitian had someone look at the chair and determine that it was not a current infestation which was good to hear. While the chair was in the shop, we moved within Morgan County. Vitian brought the chair out to my new home last week and helped me move it in. I couldn't be happier with the job that she did. It looks like a new chair. She kept as much of the original components as she could including the horsehair stuffing and amended it with new filler. I think my grandfather would be very proud. I look forward to handing it down to my children.

The chairs look great, were done for a outstanding price and the work was finished 2 or 3 weeks sooner than we were told they would be done! Would recommend and use again.

The company I used a few years back had went out of business so I went to Angie's List to find a new one. Considering their location and after reading the reviews of Vitian's Re-upholstery, I chose to stop by with my cushion. I was greeted by Erica, smiling and friendly. She then called to her co-worker to assist me and said it would be no problem. It was a "double button" a button that went through the cushion and connected to a button on the bottom of the cushion. She informed me that she had not done it before but would call her mother, Vitian to confirm that she was doing it correctly and asked me to give her an hour. I returned within a couple of hours and she had done a beautiful job. I couldn't tell which one she had repaired it was flawless job. I couldn't of been happier! I asked how much do I owe and Erica said no charge because it was a quick fix, I felt terrible because it was definitely something I didn't know how to fix and was just happy they could do it. I am so happy I chose Vitian's and definitely will return. THANK YOU!!!!

She was so great to work with. I took pictures and was able to send them to her.She explained everything to me well. After having a number of discussions with her, I just ended up buying a new dinette set. If I have another upholestry job, I would use them.

Vitian reupholstered our sofa bed last fall. The cushions were a bit big but Vitian said she thought they'd compress. After about 8 months it was clear they wouldn't compress to fit so I contacted Vitian. She picked up the cushions, remeasured and redid them at no additional charge. I'm very happy with Vitian. She stands by her work and makes it right if it wasn't right to begin with. I don't remember the exact cost since it's been awhile, but I do remember that I was pleased when she told me the amount.

She did a nice job. She was helpful picking out fabric and she completed the work in a timely manner.

The upholstery on my couch was in very good shape, however the three cushions looked terrible because thay had lost their flexibility and were flat on the outside edge. They help me select the right firmness for the cushions for my couch and had the work done in a couple of days. The staff was helpful and courteous. My new cushions make my couch look great. I'm sure it will last me many more years.

When I called to ask about services, the secretary was very pleasant. I had already purchased one "deal" for 3 cushions and needed information about the other 2 cushions. The secretary had the owner return my call. She was able to discount my other cushions per a coupon on Angie's List. The location was convenient to find. I delivered the cushions on a Tuesday and they were ready on Thursday afternoon with a Friday pickup. I was very pleased with the service and the quality of the materials. I would recommend this business.
