+ -1 moreIN THE END, I ENDED UP HAVING MY STAIR RAIL ELECTROSTATICALLY PAINTED INSTEAD OF POWDER COATED. HOWEVER, THE OWNER AT VAN WESTRUM WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL. I WALKED IN OFF OF THE STREET AT THE RECOMMENDATION OF A STRIPPING COMPANY, AND HE TOOK TIME TO DESCRIBE THE POWDER COATING PROCESS TO ME AND GIVE ME A PRICE FOR THE WORK. IN THE END, WE DECIDED ON ELECTROSTATIC PAINT INSTEAD OF POWDER COATING BECAUSE THE RAILING WAS EXTREMELY ORNATE, AND WE FIGURED THAT AN ELECTROSTATIC COATING WOULD REACH THE NOOKS AND CRANNIES A LITTLE BETTER THAN POWDER COATING WOULD. I WILL SAY HOWEVER, THAT I REFERRED MY NEIGHBOR TO VAN WESTRUM FOR SOME OUTDOOR RAILINGS, AND MY NEIGHBOR WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE WORK THAT VAN WESTRUM DID FOR HIM.
Description of Work: I HAD VAN WESTRUM GIVE ME A QUOTE ON POWDER COATING MY INDOOR, ANTIQUE WROUGHT IRON STAIR RAIL.
