Performed repairs on a roof that was poorly installed by a contractor prior to us purchasing the house. Had a handful of roofers come out to look at what repairs needed to be done. USA Roofing was the most thorough in how they would handle repairs and what they were going to do. This included replacing the ridge vent that was felted over, re-flash chimney/other areas and fixed areas where leaks were occurring due to a large gaps between the decking and gutter. They also performed other minor repairs throughout the roof. I am a very detailed person and want to understand why things are done and how. They covered every concern I had and explained it at a level I could understand. They pay a great attention to detail and take great pride in their workmanship.

They did a fantastic job. I was very pleased with their work.

They were very quick and very clean. They went through with a magnet to make sure all the nails were picked up. They were very nice and efficient, too.

They arrived on time and worked hard to complete the job in one day. It wasn't possible but they were back early the next day and finished the roof. Only problems were plants that were crushed by the weight of the tarps and shingles and a stray nail that punctured a tire in an unrepairable place. Otherwise, the job went well, the supervisors were on the job the whole time and it was a nice crew to work with.

This company received a lot of nice comments on the List, and I was inclined to select them. The representative arrived on time and climbed all over the roof to perform his inspection. When he was done, I invited him in to discuss the process. (I cringed a little that he did not put on shoe covers as he walked on my carpet after walking all over my roof). At one point, I asked him about an issue with the ceiling in my kitchen that I felt was related to the roof - he was not able to provide any thoughts about the cause. He spent a little time talking about his company and the process in general. He spent more time talking about how insurance companies treat claims and how and why the insurance companies do what they do. He was awkward and did not seem comfortable in his role or especially knowledgeable. He did deliver the estimate the same day, as promised. I decided to get another bid and selected a much larger company to provide an estimate. I'm so glad I did, because the contrast between the two companies was pretty significant. The representative of the big company showed up on time and walked the roof. He also came in (without shoe covers either!), but his presentation clearly demonstrated that he was an expert. He spent his time explaining why his company hand-nails the shingles instead of using nail guns, the venting of the roof, the new ridge cap that they would be installing, the warranty of his work, and so on. He also immediately recognized the cause of the ceiling issue in my kitchen that had mystified the USA rep. He took me outside and educated me about pipe boots/flashing. "Big company" guy wasted no time, he wrote up his estimate right on the spot. He was clearly an expert and I had a high level of confidence in him and his company. As I said, I really wanted to choose USA Roofing based on their rating on the List, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it.

I noticed some water in the basement draining down the exhaust pipe that goes through my roof. I thought it was a plumbing issue at first, so I didn't discover the leak in my attic until the next heavy rain. The boot around the pipe was leaking into the attic and the water was draining down the outside of the pipe. I called USA Roofing and spoke with Tammy. She understood the issue I was having right away and explained what they would do and fit me in their schedule as soon as possible. They called the day before to find out when it would be best to come, and then again when they were on their way. They easily located the two problems and inspected the rest of the roof and caulked over some exposed nails in other areas to prevent future problems. Luckily, the leak was discovered early and none of the wood in the attic needed to be replaced. They answered all my questions and explained everything very well. They were very professional and I am extremely pleased. I would definitely hire this company again.

They were nice to work with. The supervisor was very nice and timely. They had a reasonable price. The problem we had was due to snow, so we will see how the roof holds up this winter.

Full inspection of roof performed, outside and in attic spaces under various sections of the house. Inspections revealed small plumbing leak over ceiling spot and gentlemen inspecting used a cell phone to take a photo for us. Asked whether roof shot and tear off/reroofing necessary as recommended by another company and was advised roof still had 1-2 years of life. Did do minor repair in area where gutter and roof leaking onto driveway and it has worked perfectly with all the June rain. Appreciate honesty and thoroughness. Also, individuals all very polite and professional.

It went very well. We are very pleased with their work. I really hit it off with owner, which is a main reason why I went with this company. I also liked the fact that either Tammi or her husband were always on sight overseeing the job. I even had them come back for a follow up on a small issue I had with the siding. They were very prompt in responding to that as well--which they fixed to my satisfaction.

I contacted USA roofing to get an additional estimate and was surprised to find that the company was owned by a women. Tammy came out to give me an estimate and explained in detail what needed to be done to repair the roof. Immediately I was impressed that she took the time to explain the process and the reasons why the roof leaked in the first place and the repair that needs to take place to prevent the roof from leaking in the future because I am not an expert in the field. Tammy told me she would email the proposal within the next 24 hours. I received the proposal and was very satisfied with the price. I had previously contacted other roofing companies who's estimates were much higher and they were not going to do near the amount of work Tammy had listed. I then mailed the signed proposal to Tammy and she contacted me to set up an appointment to do the work. The workers were professional and arrived on time. It took them about 2 hours to complete the work. They also took a look at my roof and noticed that the roofer I used in the past used too many nails per shingle. I was told that I will probably have to have the roof replaced in a couple of years. I will definitely use USA Roofing when that time comes. Tammy came across as someone who cares about the customer. I will definitely recommend her to others.

In summer of 2009, I moved into a house with a lot of leaks in the roof. Tammy from USA roofing had placed a new 30yr roof on my previous house and did an excellent job. There was no question that I was going to use her again. I knew the cost of this roof was going to be more due to the size and damage. They started on time and removed all the old shingles. They informed me of all the problems that the roof had. They even took pictures of the water damage on the roof so I can see what they see. I discovered during the demo that the two bathrooms and a laundry room was not vented properly. I asked Tammy if they can fix it and they did. They were very efficiant and did it at a nominal cost. The job was finished on time and they did a great job cleaning up. A very large storm came after the install and all the leaks were gone. I love you Tammy!

I live in a wooded area and there are numerous trees. My gutters were not draining properly due to poor installation of old gutters. Tammy came out and gave me an estimate. USA roofing had done two other jobs for me and they were all went well. They removed and placed new gutters that properly drain. The workers were very nice and hard working. They always checked in on me to let me know if everything was being done to my satisfaction. They do great work.

These are the people you want to replace your roof. The initial visit for an estimate was done promptly and a very thorough written estimate was provided. The price was right on the mark for the budget which was determined by the insurance check after hail damage. The job was performed on schedule with a constant supervisor. This company insists on doing good work. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone.

I give them an A+. Even though they didn't find a problem, they did not charge us despite spending a decent amount of time at our house. They are very thorough and have a high level of integrity. If we ever do experience roof problems, they will be first on our list to call.

Company responded to my initial request for an estimate, and work was done as soon as weather permitted. I could not get up on the roof to inspect the quality of work, but from the ground it looks like "A" work, and they cleaned up any mess that they made. They orally explained, in detail, the work that they did, and well as providing a written work statement.

I cannot say enough positive things about Tammy and her team! From the first contact to the final follow up, Tammy was extremely professional, very thorough, and always met her commitments. I really appreciated her attention to detail and taking time to explain her estimate and any of her recommendations. She was extremely patient with us as we were not the owner of the house at the time (a pre-repo) so getting the details of the transaction worked out took some time. When I would challenge an approach, she clearly explained why she recomended a solution and was firm that she would not cut corners becaue she would stand behind any work her company performed. She would not risk any leaks! Jim did an excellent job managing the installation crew and coordinating with me as they completed the work at the house, working around weather changes. They did an excellent job on cleaning up the site which is not easy on a complete tear off. I have only found 1 or 2 pieces of material which is exceptional for a large 2 story project such as this. I have recommended Tammy to several friends and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a quality contractor.

I checked Angie's List and chose 3 to 4 people for estimates and to discuss the work. USA Roofing gave me the most for what I expected. Her estimate and proposal were detailed (the way I like them). We examined the roof together. Tammy did what she said she would do. She is an excellent communicator and kept in contact with me at all times (phone and e-mail) during the work. I was open to any suggestions or questions she had. Her crews were great. The place was kept clean. If something was not right, it was made right. In addition, it was a pleasure to have her perform the work that was overdue and necessary. We learned a lot from each other.

I called and was told they would be out the next day to do an estimate. They not only came out the next day as promised but they did the job while they were there! No waiting to make another appointment. Tim and Gregio did a great job and were personable and professional. They also did ABCD helping me get my doghouse moved! This company and it's employees are A1 in my book!!!

They didn't do any actual work. These are the people we want to put on our new roof. They were absolutely timely in showing up for our appointment. They were very friendly and informative as well. She climbed up on the roof and took pictures to show us exactly what was going on. She showed us pictures of how other problems had been repaired. I appreciated that she gave us complete explanations as to why she wanted to do certain things. She even offered us some savings on the roofing tile that we picked out. I was very satisfied with them. She wasn't in a big huge rush and I didn't feel like I was brushed off at all. She took the time to answer any questions that we had. We looked up some information on the Internet before she came so that we were semi familiar with what was going on. Everything she said seemed to check out as far as we knew. I'd rather pay a little extra for the amount and quality of work that we receive.

They were very punctual, cleaned up after themselves, got the work done quickly, and repaired things that they noticed that other companies had not noticed. One of the owners was always supervising, and they were always a pleasure to interact with. They were very good on follow up and checking in with us. We plan to use them for new siding and gutters.

Perfect. I recieved several estimates from other companies, but USA was the most communicative and on top of everything. Their estimate was similar to the others I recieved, but I just felt more comfortable with them from the start. This was a replacement due to hail damage, and I really just cannot say a good enough things about USA roofing. Everyone was professional, and the roofers were very systematic and CLEAN. I only found 2 nails in the yard, and they had fallen into my rocks of my landscaping and I just happened to find them weeding. The gutter guys were great as well. The roof looks impressive, and I chose to go with more expensive shingles, and they are right: the dimenstional shingles make a difference in how your roof looks. I would HIGHLY recommend them.
