Updike Bathroom Remodeling

Excellent experience over all, the people that come and do the work are very tidy, they are very good about not leaving a trail through your house, and they always get back to us with answers to our questions. They are always very professional. The quality of the work is very excellent, they will come back to fix any mistakes. The price varies upon the project but they are a very reasonable price.

This job did not go well. They had an untested crew, and they did substandard work. The project was dragged out many weeks beyond the initial time frame. I absolutely would not recommend this company to anyone.

They wanted to use their own supplies, but I wanted to purchase them myself so I decided not to go with them.

The finished job was worth the money.

It went fine. They did run into a problem with one of the companies that they ordered a counter top from, but they were able to finish the job after getting the product.

They are professional and on time. They were good to have in the home.

Overall, it was a good experience. We are happy with our new shower. Would like to give an A but just can not do that.

The contractor was polite, he always called or let me know what time to expect him arrive. He always cleaned up before he went home for the evening. He was trustworthy, I was comfortable to have him work at home alone. The owner & the contractor both truly cared about the quality of the job & pleasing the customer.

Our installer, Rudy, was great. I was a little concerned when Updike told me there would only be one installer, but he was able to complete everything on his own. He was very friendly and offered suggestions for care and maintenance of the new tile.

Dan was great to work with. We decided to wait on this project because of the high cost.

The experience was very good. Even though it was a master bath remodel (attached to our bedroom!) it was painless. They kept the job area very clean, were punctual, pleasant, very knowledgeable & did a great job.

The job went smoothly installing the base and marble walls. The employees were reliable, kept in touch to let me know when they were leaving and would return, and were clean. When it came time to install the glass enclosure, Tremain was contracted through Updike to do the installation. It was supposed to take 5-7 days to custom cut the glass. I finally called Updike 16 days later since I had not been contacted by Tremain. I was contacted the same day by Tremain to do the installation. Tremain came on a Monday morning, did perhaps 1/2 of the installation, told my son they would be back later that afternoon to complete the installation. They did not return. I finally called Updike on Wednesday to find out what the problem was, but no one seemed to know anything. Everyone thought the job was finished. Tremain came late Wednesday afternoon and completed the installation of the glass. Tremain left glue on my tile floor, that took me about a week to clean.

Jeff was the tradesman that did most of the work. The only problem was his inability to show up on the 1st day and the late notice I received of such. This pushed the project out to the next weekend so I lost vacation day and 1 day on the weekend. His work was fantastic! Quality was 1st class!! The work was top quality. He was very punctual at all times other than day one. He was polite, clean and very trustworthy.

Construction team was outstanding. On the job on time, neat, professional. Good job, clean up every night. Definitely would want them back again.

We were very pleased with the work. We thought there was a problem upstairs and they came back up to check it out and fixed it. This wasn't anything that they had done, just something with the toilet. They cleaned up and swept, taking care of all of the mess.

I was well satisfied with the work well done. I am so glad I called Updike. I would call them again for any work I need done.

Mike N. did an outstanding superb job from start to finish. Don't know how he could work in such a small space and stay so organized and tidy. I have Chronic Myeloid Leukemia so it was imperative that the job be done with expert care. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Well done.

I am really satisfied with the work Updike did. Very good workmanship, and very clean, and did the patch work from holes in the wall, that was not included in the job.

Their slogan is "Just One Call - We Do it All." Well, shower doors are apparently too small of a job for them.

THEY WERE VERY GOOD. I AM DOING HALF OF THE BATHROOM REMODELING WORK MYSELF, AND UPDIKE WAS VERY WILLING TO WORK TOGETHER WITH ME. THE INSTALLER WAS VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL AND EVEN GAVE ME SOME TIPS ON THE WORK I HAD TO DO.

Mike was personable, punctual, and very professional. He exhibited his patience and perseverance in working with 50 year old plumbing that was rusted. We now have a beautiful bathroom!!!!!!

They don't work very fast but they do excellent work. Their prices are very reasonable. They are busy.

Very prompt, quiet, courteous. Should have name of business on trailer.

Total job took four days, as presented, and done in a perfect craftsman like manner. We were impressed with everything related to the restoration. Very professional.

DAN GAVE US A DETAILED WORK LIST. WORK WAS VERY WELL DONE. THERE WAS SOME DELAY TO GET A SPECIAL MADE DOOR. SOME EXTRA WORK WAS DONE AS REQUIRED.
