I had my floors installed by this company. They sent two Chinese. One spoke no English, and the other pretended to speak little English. They were doing ok until they broke the screen on my television. I called the customer service number at 312-626-7693 and talked to Jessica. I asked Janet, who called me a day earlier and told me to call if I had any concerns, to call this number and press option 4. I called and I explained to Jessica what happened, and she asked me to hold on until she contacted Janet. I was on hold for ten minutes, and Jessica called the floor installers. She returned to the line and told me the floor installers sent her pictures saying this television was broken before they moved it. I told her that was a lie, and I hoped the picture was timestamped for the day prior when they claimed they took this picture. Jessica was extremely unorofessional and told me that this may have to be handled by Lowes since they were the contractor for Lowe's. I sent pictures of my broken television, and they stopped answering my calls. Lowes called me and said it was my fault since I had not moved the television myself. The Chinese Floor Installer was English savvy enough to tell me they were done, and he needed me to sign off on the job. What he gave me was a waiver of Liability. I refused to sign, and I would not recommend this company or Lowes who use them for a contract for anything; they are unprofessional, rude, and lousy!!

This is the worst company EVER. Do not let them install any flooring for you... they will send incompetent day laborers to do shoddy work. They left the old carpet rolled up so my 76 year old mother would trip over it, even though she paid for removal. Scott told her that he would be back the next day to remove it and send pictures to Lowe's for the claim.. That was Nov.23rd, 2021... we are now on May 18th 2022 and they never took the old carpet or fixed the bad installation. These installers came back 3 times.. Scott was the manager that came out to inspect the work.. you could see the carpet seams, they were actually.. V'ed...causing a tripping hazard in three locations, the carpet wasn't stretched properly. Ultimate services is trying to pass the buck on to Lowe's claiming manufacturer defects. These are the worst kind of companies.. they take money for a job they cannot do and then blame it on everyone else... Scott... hear me clear... it's not over...I will continue to contact you, file claims, call the local news.. state complaints, social complaints.. you have taken advantage of the wrong person.

The initial install was done in February 2020, vinyl flooring in the laundry room had a full size plank on one side and a strip of about 3 inches on the other side. The installer clearly did not adhere to standard installation practices, measuring the space and making the width of the planks the same on both sides. Installed vinyl flooring throughout kitchen, breakfast nook and hallway installing quarter round without mailing the majority of it down. Installed carpeting in four bedrooms, living room and formal dining, left a rust spot on the carpet in the living room from the kicker tool. This was pointed out to the installer during installation and he said he would report it to his boss. There was a large carpet defect in the master bedroom, this was also pointed out to the installer during installation and again he said he would report it to his boss. During the carpet installation they removed the closet doors in the four bedrooms and would not reinstall them stating they did not fit and needed to be trimmed. The supervisor came to the house to address our complaints, he stated we could have our handyman reinstall the doors to which I responded that was not acceptable and that they were responsible for that. To repair the laundry room he wanted me to provide the new planking for which are responded it was their responsibility to provide any materials necessary to fix their mistake. After several months of delays (some due to COVID) they returned to fix the quarter round, the people they sent walked in and said they would not do the work and left. After much delay this company finally sent someone else to repair the laundry room and nail down the quarter round. The company also offered $25.00 for us to hire a carpet cleaner to try and get the rust of the carpeting in the living room. Again I respond to this is unacceptable and not my responsibility. We were offered a credit for the carpeting in the master bedroom to which I replied it must be replaced. Again after about six weeks the carpeting has been replaced and finally I am able to wash my hands of this nightmare. The installers speak little to no English so it is nearly impossible to address an issue with them. I would not allow this company back into my home under any circumstances. This has been almost a year of fighting with them to honor the warranty guaranteed through Lowes.

We couldn't be more pleased with Ultimate Home Services replacement of flooring we recently purchased at Lowe's. In a single day, Carlos and his partner expertly removed old carpeting/pad and installed new carpeting/pad. Because online reviews left us concerned, Owner Bruce Rulman kindly offered his personal attention and assurance. In fact, on the day of installation, both he and Field Service Manager Tony Spencer stopped by our home to introduce themselves--impressive! We are thrilled with the exemplary work ethic, quality craftsmanship, and supreme professionalism we experienced and recommend Ultimate Home Services without reservation!

Ultimate Home Services is a subcontractor to Lowe's for carpet installation. We purchased the carpet through Lowe's. When the time came to install it, Ultimate Home Services dispatched a single installer, Marvin Umana. He admitted the job was bigger than he initially estimated. But he worked hard all day long until about 8:30PM. He did a super great job. We are very happy about it. Based on our experience, we don't see any issues with Ultimate Home Services and would go with them again. Actually Lowe's.

Floor installation was fine. Quarter round literally fell off within the week. It would fall off just sweeping the floor. It was cut very poorly and painted even worse. I would not use them for anything in your home. We actually laughed at how bad it looked. Horrible.

The vinyl was to be installed one day before the carpet, and this installation went fine. We were told the carpet installers would arrive call between 8am and 11am to complete the carpet. No call was received, and no one at the office responded. After following up through Lowes, a company manager told us a crew would arrive between 3pm and 5pm, but this crew was also a no-show. Company blamed it on scheduling issues. Have left several voicemails with company and no response. Will never use this company again and likely won't us Lowes professional services again if this is the quality of subcontractor they find acceptable.
Description of Work: Hired as a subcontractor through Lowes to install carpet on stairs and in one bedroom, and vinyl on landing.

Tear out went fine, although they didn't finish in 1 day like I was told. Install seemed to go fine. Install issues: they pulled the baseboard off that had a door stop and then proceeded to use the door to the garage to access tools/supplies and the door knob went through the dry wall. They also didn't hook the down draft vent for the stove back up after they put it back in. We were told the creaks would settle in after a few weeks. There ended up being several soft spots all over the house where there was significant movement and you could visibly see one board shift up when you stepped on an adjacent board. I will add that NO leveling base was ever used. We called and a Lowes PM came out to see the issues. He left shaking his head saying out loud "I'm embarassed". Next the install manager came out with the Lowes PM again. They checked Humidity levels, went around and checked with a level and found several spots that need to be "repaired". I certainly didn't expect this outcome after spending this much money on floors and installation. It has been 6 weeks since installation and I still haven't been able to "move" back in and put everything away that I had to get up off the floors because of the looming repair/replacement. Also, be prepared to either higher a cleaning service or to literally dust EVERY surface of your home. Lowes should sell the cleaning services, I would have bought it in a second. We have used Lowes for previous kitchen counter install and it went great. This floor install however has been the worst experience EVER.

Terrible. Very unprofessional and left gaps in the trim.
Description of Work: They were suppose to install two rooms of wood flooring. They did a poor quality on the bathroom and refused to complete the service for the kitchen/dining room. I had already paid for the service but they left the job unfinished. Steer clear of this company.

Ultimate Home Services was impossible to communicate and schedule with. They did not understand instructions. They finally came out and did a good job installing the carpet. The installers were fine, it was the schedulers that were atrocious.
Description of Work: We contracted with Lowe's to install some carpeting and Lowe's subcontracted to Ultimate Home Services.

Worst, most unprofessional company we have EVER had do work on our home. I have made a list of things WRONG with the carpet and have spent the last 3 weeks trying to get ahold of someone to come out. Husband and I both took off work for a 1-3pm appointment and when no one showed up we were told they wouldn't be here until 4:30-5:30. No one has shown up and have been HUNG UP ON. *Burned hole through carpet *Patch was put in backwards *Several seams *Thresholds were re-tucked and left with loose nails that cut 4year old foot! *Carpet around fireplace is NOT even secure, loose *Gap in threshold at front door has tacking strip underneath an stick right through, CUT childs foot twice! *Front door is unable to be open properly I have paid off Lowes Credit Card and will NEVER GO THROUGH THEM AGAIN!

They first called to set up an consultation to measure the house and make sure we we're purchasing the correct amount of carpet and laminate to meet the job requirements. They scheduled out about a week and a half out. They came out yesterday to install the laminate throughout the living room and the hall way. They we're fast, efficent and professional the entire time. Two guys came out. They also pointed out some areas that the previous ceramic tile installer had not installed straightly, which in turn, was going to make the laminate install a bit more tricky, with the borders. Overall, I went over every inch of laminate and couldn't find a single spacing. Which tells me two things. Not only does Armstrong make a great laminate flooring, but Ultimate Home Services did a great job as well. I would highly recommend Ultimate Home Services to anybody looking to have some floors installed, whether it be carpet or laminate/hardwood! They let my wife work from home as she is an event planner.They also have good taste in music for what it is worth and kept their music low while they worked! I will update this post with photos when I get the chance with Before and after photos! Update - The carpet install went flawless as well. Both men we're friendly, courteous and even helped me move a heavy fish tank outside. They helped me rip up the final bedroom because the fishtank was in there and I couldn't get it moved without major help. Thje carpet is snug against the borders and meets my laminate perfectly! I decided to go with a stainmaster pet carpet and pet friendly pad since we have a puggle and shih tzu. They even offered to haul away the old carpet and padding for free! We bought lunch for the laminate installers and bought lunch for the carpet installers as well. Overall fantastic experience!!!! 11/10!!!
