Description of Work: We took advantage of a special deal ($199 interior painter for a day) to have a couple interior doors painted, a small close with shelves painted. numerous places touched up, and several windows caulked in the corners. The painter who was sent did a good job. However, we ran into a problem on one door where the latex paint had been peeling off the old oil-based paint. (Apparently, a previous painter from another company had not properly prepared the surface, and in fact had not bothered to paint at all behind a large door mirror!) The owner of Two Sisters was made aware of this problem beforehand, but may not have allowed enough time for our painter to take all the necessary steps to correct the problem. He did a good job, given the time constraints. My husband ended up painting the final coat. | |I had a problem getting the owner to call me back when I was trying to determine what paint to buy (formula on lid did not match paint in can). She was extra busy because her sister was on vacation. She did respond when I asked Angie's List to intervene. Otherwise, the owner was very helpful. She came to the house in advance to look over the projects and gave us good advice. | |Overall, we were satisfied with the end results.

Description of Work: Big Beal-2 painters of 8hrs. They painted the ceiling in most of the house, painted 3 walls in living room, touched up numerous spots. They were fast & tidy. They finished a little early but wait around to see if I could find something else for them to paint. The paint job in my house looks excellent. Now I understand why you hire professional painters even though you could do the painting yourself.
