Two Sisters Painting

We hired two sisters to paint the inside and outside of our house prior to us moving in. We were on a tight schedule with getting remodeling done and they worked around our schedule to get everything painted exactly the way we wanted it. They were helpful, friendly and provided great advise on textures and colors. We would definitely recommend and hire them again. (See Before and after pictures below.)

The paint crew was courteous, professional, neat and actually completed the job early. Honestly, it was probably one of the best contracted paint jobs I have ever had, no drips or runs, and a nice even finish to the job. I would highly recommend.

All jobs I hired them for went very well without any hitch and I continued to hire them for all painting jobs. I have had many of their crew in our home and they were all very professional and very aware of being in our home and treating it with respect.

GREAT! they were prompt, did excellent work, and cleaned up so well you would not have even known they were there. the walls had some issues, but they did a great job prepping and filling holes, and the trim work was done so carefully, my husband (who is close to impossible to please) was very satisfied. the estimate was very fair, we will absolutely use them again!

The owners gave a us a ‘special’ price that was comparable to other quotes we had gotten. The first two painters arrived late and didn’t prep the walls. Patching was minimal and poorly done. No wiping down the walls or sanding even though it was in the contract. They painted over hardware. They got paint on newly installed smoke detectors, stair railing, newly painted trim, and the carpet. None of it was cleaned up. They completed what was supposed to be a 4 day job in approximately 10 hours. They did a single coat when two had been in the contract. You could see underlying paint color, debris, excess paint strokes, and some places around doors they didn’t even paint, and a couple of spots had been “touched up” in the wrong paint color. I did a walk through and pointed out flaws, but the painter insisted it would all be perfect when it dried. The owners did come out after we complained and admitted that it was the worst job they had seen their people do. They sent two more people back to fix the work and do the second coat, but some of the damage was already done. They couldn’t cover the excess paint leaving the walls streaky. The walls still look bad and our family has to go through and repaint the trim and doors that were need up by their painters. They did not offer to fix those spots for us. No discount was offered for anything that we have to fix or the extra time it took. They offered to come back again, but by that time we were done with their terrible work and just wanted to move on. Will never use them or recommend them again.

It went well. They were a few tiny things they didn't get, but all in all it was fine. Compared to other painters that I had, they used primer. They were very careful and worked around most of my furniture. We didn't have to clear the rooms out or anything. They were really pleasant, young men. They were really nice. They are actually two sisters. They have a crew. One takes care of the painting projects, and one takes care of the wallpapering projects.

This property consisted of three floors and 3-car garage that was completely painted in just over one week. Awesome job.

The first crew showed up on Memorial Day week-end, although it wasn't necessary for my timing. Two sisters had a crew that could work so I said OK. Two people came and the woman was not happy to be working. The next week two more people came to complete the job and they were complainers too. I know that removing wall paper is hard and there was a tremendous amount of paste involved; however, the reason I hired them was no secret. Although my plan had been to hire Two Sisters to do the painting I decided against it. By word of mouth I found a couple of fellows that did the work including spackling for less than half the price quoted by Two Sisters. The project was delayed but these fellows were proud of their work and did not once complain.

I purchased 8 hrs of service. Contractor arrived late, took time for lunch and left earlier than 8 hrs. I was told by the owner that all the painting I needed completed in the dining room could be completed in 8 hrs. It was not and I was left w/ 4 walls not painted. The painting that was completed (ceiling, crown moulding, trim, chair rail) was excellent work just disappointed that so much of the room was left to do myself.

They had trouble in scheduling at first and when we finalize everything, she send 2 guys to render the work which is 4 hours each. They are good enough and get it done for 4 hours. Next morning, I check the bathroom and it look strip, when they actually informed me what paint to buy. I feel embarrassed so I call her up and asked if she can send one worker to look the job, she send her son out and he's a better painter than the first one. He repainted almost everything and made it look good. I'm not complaining, the project is fine and she did everything to make it work.

They were awesome. Very thorough, and professional. Everything looks great and they cleaned up after themselves. They are very friendly as well.

Pretty good. It took long to schedule. We did drywall repair first and only hired this company for painting.

Work was not done. Very slow to respond, had to leave multiple messages each time and then took over a week to hear back each time. Angie's List said this company covered Greenfield and Anderson. In the initial phone conversation I discussed the location of my properties in Greenfield and Anderson and was told it was no problem. When I called back to schedule the work, I was told they would not travel to Greenfield or Anderson and I had to contact Angie's List to get a refund. Delayed my projects, very frustrating!

The painters arrived on time and were ready to work. They did all the prep work for the painting, (filling nail holes, sanding, etc.) and still managed to get two coats of paint on all surfaces, three in some cases, before 3:00pm. The rooms look great, they did all the cleanup, and left the extra paint for us to use for touchup. The price was very good, and we will use them again.

Woman came, did the work that I requested (the job exceeded the coupon, so they charged me two hours at the coupon rate). She couldn't remove a problem spot, so instead of spending all her time on that, she went on to other work. That wallpaper remains (only a small part).
