Two Sisters Painting

They’re not really good with follow through in a timely manner and they don’t call back. They did some work that day, then said she couldn’t do more until May. When I told her not to fill that date, she has never called back to see if I wanted to finish the work.

Debra was very responsive to my emails and my calls. After we scheduled the work, she and her assistant arrived on time with all the necessary ladders and brushes. They were both very accommodating as we had other contractors at the house that day who needed all of our driveway space. Debra and her assistant unloaded their equipment and were kind enough to park away from the house while the other contractor worked. I was a little worried about how we were all going to fit in the driveway that day, but Debra didn't bat a lash and offered to park away from the house. The two worked nonstop from the time they arrived until the time the work was done, only taking a short lunch break. I wish everyone had such great concentration and work ethic. They were clean, polite, and quiet (which was nice since I work from home!). Debra could not have been easier to work with. I was so impressed with the quality of the paint job that I had her measure my dining room for a quote, which she did and sent me a quote right when she said she would. Very reasonable!!

It was excellent. They were outstanding. They were very friendly and accomodating. They followed our instructions. They were very easy going and eager to please. I would definitely use them again.

I bought the two coupons the day the Big Deal was sent to by email. I had no response from so after 2 weeks or more I called one the owners. She told me she would come on June 30th between 9-9:30 a.m. - she arrived with her son's girlfriend at 9:40 am. She looked at the hallway and told me (I had totally and completely told her what the job entailed) the job was than she expected. The two of them worked very hard until around 6:00 pm and I had to pay an additional $115.00. I had not read the fine print which must have said what she told about my job for her and the Big Deal (she did tell me this on the phone) - she told that is was $99 per person for three hours - I about died right there because this way too shocking. I said alright then because I failed to read the fine print. As I was that check for finishing the downstairs part of the hallway of wallpaper removal, she told me she could not come back until July 16th because she was so very busy. This too was shocking to me. So I called to make sure they were coming as planned and she changed the day to Monday the 8th with arrival between 9-9:30/ she came at 10:30 am - then owner left. Verbally the same we called to find when she was coming she told us that her son's girlfriend and another young would be doing the job. My husband back because we thought it cost by the hour. The owner told us it would be $45 for every two rolls on the day the two would be here. So the young ladies worked very, very hard and I so liked her son's girlfriend, but around 3:00 pm three more people showed up. The two sisters and a young man. All five of them worked very hard to complete again around 6:00 pm and the charge had change her verbal - now she was charging $40 per roll. My husband wrote her check for $247.00. The next day my husband noticed damage to the foyer spackled ceiling. I texted her today and told her about the messed up ceiling - I had no response. I text again awhile later and told her she would one more hour to respond. Interestingly, while the company in my home any time one their cells rang, they promptly stopped working and answered every call. She called my husband at around 5:30 pm today and told him she had no signal. Unfortunately for her - I am a very high tech person and know that if her phone was indeed out of range - the text would not have cleared through from me to her with my phone acknowledging her reception. During hour I gave her my husband called her 2 times and her phone rang at 3 or 4 times - now if she is out of range her cell phone would have once and then voice mail. She told my husband when she called at 5:30 pm in response to his call that she would have to talk with a guy named Brian who is on Angie's List and does this sort of thing for her when she needs him. She told my husband she would call tomorrow after she talks with Brian. This tells me she has damaged ceilings before. Now my beautiful foyer looks ugly because of the ceiling being messed up. I don't know honestly when she will truly call back. I do know that whomever this Brain fellow is - certainly he realizes that once he does apply the fix - this will require painting the foyer ceiling so that everything matches again. I will wait to see how the rest of this is dealt with and update.

Debra, one of the sisters, came to my home before hand (in April) to tell me how much painting they could do for the cost of the voucher and to help me select colors (no additional cost for this). They were very busy and we scheduled for almost 2 mos. later. They had other jobs that day so they came w/a crew of 4 instead of 2. They were all VERY nice! They removed and replaced all the electrical face plates, vents, smoke alarms, and even my mini-blinds!! They were VERY efficient, personable and professional. Debra, knowing I am disabled and on a VERY limited income, went above and beyond to help me work out the final cost of the job - labor and the cost of the Sherwin Williams paint they use. I was very, very grateful!!! I would HIGHLY recommend them for your painting needs. The ONLY thing I suggest is that you know you may have to wait a bit to get the job on the calendar, they are very busy! THANKS 2 SISTERS AND CREW!!!! Lori

Debra was very friendly, punctual and did a very good job, in spite of my air conditioning going out of service the day she did the painintg. Thankfully, I was able to get the air repaired half way thru the painting job. Debra and her helper did complete the job in good time, plus, they cleaned-up after themselves. I will hire "Two Sisters Painting" in the future and recommend their services highly.

They did a great job. The wallpaper was extremely difficult to remove, I was so glad that they were able to do it. They had to repair a lot of the drivewall-caulk it and then sand down the wall before the painting could be done. The painting looks great and the color that was suggested is perfect. After having a bad experience a couple of years ago with a different painter, I was so glad that I had "Two Sisters" do it for me. They were very professional and knew exactly what they had to do. I have already referred them to another family member and I will continue to refer them in the future. Hopefully I can have them come back and paint a bedroom for me (NO WALLPAPER INVOLVED!!),

Debra came out to our house to do an in-person quote. Price was better than others we received. Project spanned two days and were are very satisfied with the quality of her work. We would absolutely use her services in the future. Only complaint is that job had to be pushed back one day because she was running behind on another project. I happened to be open, but had I not been off work it would have caused some problems.

It was wonderful. They came out and did the work when I asked them to. They were punctual. They worked all day and didn't even take a lunch break and they nibbled on some crackers while they work. It was fantastic. I couldn't have asked for a better job or nicer people. I was amazed that they didn't have to use tape on that, they just didn't. That's a good painter. I was really impressed with them and I will use them again. I had no complaints whatsoever. For $199 for 8 hours of work, I think that's fantastic. They were here when they were scheduled to be. They were very professional. I got a couple of more rooms that need to get painted and I may very well have them come back and do the trim.

They did very well, timely manner, cleaned up afterword and vacuumed. I was highly satisfied.

The service was great, the workers were fabulous. We were extremely satisfied with the work that was performed. They honored the coupon, and they did it in a very timely manner. I would recommend them.

They were wonderful, and we'll be using them for all future paint jobs.

Debra was very responsive and courteous throughout the whole process. She and her assistant were punctual and fast to get going, first with assessing the walls and then right into caulking and taping. I immediately felt comfortable leaving them in my house while I ran errands. Since we had purchased a Painter for a Day coupon, which is 2 people for 4 hours, we had already prepped the walls and cleared furniture, etc so all the time spent could be on painting. Because of the size of our room, at the 4 hr point, there was still a bit of painting to do. Debra explained what they would finish and what they would leave for us to complete. I felt she was very generous because it took them an extra hour to finish up and, when I offered to pay Debra for her time, she refused. I would definitely recommend Two Sisters Painting!

The painter arrived on time. Neatly trimmed the area - then rolled it. No paint on woodwork, blinds, or floor\

these ladies rock! They were so nice and I would completely trust them in my home with out us being there. They brought all the supplies and prepped all the walls. They even stayed late at the deal price we purchased on angies list. My husband and I helped them paint as well because it was a big job. they were so professional and very skilled. We can't believe the transformation they did to our upstairs we will use them again for sure!

Debra was exceptionally responsive as well as flexible with pricing and scheduling. She explained in advance the process required to remove wallpaper from five rooms, as well as the issues that can make removal take awhile. This helped with the estimate. Her staff member, Kerri, was respectful, positive, and did a great job. She even cleaned up afterwards. Very happy with Two Sisters and will likely call them for painting next time. DO be prepared for the removal to take awhile if the paste is old. DO expect to remove water marks from your walls after the washing. DO expect the staff to use your water, and they'll need a tub or deep sink to fill their container used during the steaming.

Two Sisters Painting did a GREAT job. They really know what they are doing and were very professional. Every room that they painted received two coats of paint and the cut-in lines are crisp and clean. They were fast and clean and got more done than I thought they would be able to. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs paint work done!

Everything went great. Not only did they remove the old paper, but they cleaned the walls completely. They cleaned up beautifully and gave me some suggestions on paint colors for my great room! They did a wonderful job and I'm very grateful for their expertise.

Debbie Dudas and her co-worker did an excellent job of removing the excess wallpaper paste and painting my kitchen which had lots of small areas. She also was able to clean up spills that I had on woodwork when I had painted previously. I was extremely please with the job they did and would probably use them again. My only complaint is that this was a job that was paid for by the hour and Debbie recieved countless phone calls that she took during the process. She also brought a television along with her - radio I could understand. I ended up having to pay for extra time which I had to wonder wouldn't have occured without the distractions.

I would Recommend Heartland Painters they are very professional. This company isn't worth the time.
