Two Sisters Painting

With the exception of having to reschedule from the previous week, all the work was done very well. The first day Angie removed the 22 year old vinyl wallpaper which had lifted up at the seams. This was time consuming and difficult, but she did a great job. The next day she and Bobby carefully spackled, prepared the surface, painted and caulked all the kitchen walls. In two days I had a really nice looking kitchen.

That turned out great! I had them paint the basement. I supplied the paint and they supplied the man power to do the painting. It took them the full time to complete the work. They did everything we asked them to do.

Initially, there were some delays and complications due to employees calling out sick. But someone was able to fill in.Two painters were supposed to show up but only one showed up on the first day. He was prompt and VERY courteous. This gentleman (Trent) did NOT stop working the entire time. I walked him through the house, showed him the paint and he got to work. On the second day, he showed up promptly again. The second painter did not show up. Trent was eager to get done and do a good job. He did a GREAT job. Later that day, the second painter showed up. He was very rude and did not really want to be there. After he left, I noticed that he had spilled drops of paint on the carpet on the stairs. Fortunately he was not there long. But Trent was just very pleasant and had a great attitude and did a wonderful job. We are SO happy and plan to have them out again.

Was a little bit slow getting connected, but once scheduled it went off fine. Took a bit longer than expected...needs to communicate what progress was at the time. Did not leave any notes or info on what was going on next.

Two Sisters previously painted the bottom level of my home and I was unsure of the color I wanted the hallway. I choose the same basic color as before - I know, not that exciting. We had to reschedule due to another job, but their work is totally worth it. I forgot the makeup appointment and they were gracious to wait for me to return. Everything went great - Trent let my dog out of the room I kept her in after he finished even. I trust them to be in my home alone - which is something I totally value and they're worth the wait!

From the beginning I was very impressed with the Two Sisters Painting company. My wife called and setup a walk through of our rooms that needed painting because she had some questions. Debra came to our house and answered all of our questions and took notes on what needed to be done. On the date we setup our appointment to start the painting Jim and John arrived early to prep everything. Questions were asked to ensure our expectations were going to be met. They both worked all day from 9 am to 5 pm. Whenever they needed a break or went to lunch they let me know. If I had questions they answers them. Our project took two days. When they were finished the first day they cleaned up and let us know they were leaving and when they would arrive the next day. On the second day they arrived on time and started to work. They even cleaned up as they went. When the project was complete they came to me so I could inspect their work. They even took the extra paint to my basement when the day was done and helped me move some heavy furniture back to its original spot. This was very nice and unexpected but they both made our experience a nice one. I will use them for any future painting projects that I have. Nice price, very professional and courteous staff, as well as excellent results. Thanks Debra, Jim, & John for making this an excellent experience!

I cannot say enough good things about Two Sisters Painting! I was in a crunch and needed someone immediately. Despite being booked out for the next two weeks, Debra called me back and was able to get someone to my house the following day and remove the wallpaper that had been on our dining room walls for almost twenty years! Trent was excellent! He was punctual, professional and did a fantastic job! I will definitely use Two Sisters Painting again when we move to our new home!!!

They completed more work that we thought. We used the coupon on Angie's list and it probably saved us several hundred dolloars over a quoted price. This was the second time we used them. The first time they completed a medium sized bedroom with 2 colors and a large master bedroom with 2 colors and we were also very pleased.We will definitely use them in the future.

I called and left a message with Debra and was promptly called back. We talked over possible scheduling, and set up a time to have the work done. I provided the paint, and they showed up and got to work. The painting they did looks fantastic. I had walls painted different colors (so not all the same on all 4 walls) and it looks crisp and clean. I'll definitely call them again for another painting job in the house I want done at some point. My work was scheduled within a week of the first call, so I thought that was really good turnaround--we wanted to have the painting done before moving in.

I couldn?t have asked for this experience to go any better. Debra was so quick to responding to me and also made time to complete the work around my schedule. She was very understanding on my budget and was able to make everything possible. Considering how smoothly this went I will be using them again and I highly reccomend this company.

It was good. Deborah is wonderful. She gave some great advice on colors and really knows what she's doing. The painters themselves did good quality work. Very professional.

My ratings are based on the outcome and not completing the job; initially (day one) I was impressed and would have rated much higher, however, the lack of professionalism in the end led to the "F" rating - until we get some resolution. Day one the painter failed to mix the paint properly and cut in an entire room with the "wrong color" before my husband saw it and stopped him. My husband took the paint back to the store where he was told it was the correct color, it just hadn't been shaken, stirred or mixed up well. This took an hour and a half of my husband's time and then all of it had to be repainted and the rooms did not get completed on day 1 as promised. Debra, owner of Two Sisters Painting stopped by to review the work and said the work certainly wasn't up to her standards and marked the walls in about 2 dozen places with blue painters tape where she wanted it redone the next day. I was very happy that she seemed to be a perfectionist and her standards were very high. However, that is where it ended. The second day, same painter came early to complete LR/DR, then different painters came later on the second day to do the second part of the job--kitchen/family room which also included the ceiling. They did not complete the work on the second day and said they would come back to finish up the 3rd day. Because of adding the third day I asked Debra if we could add the foyer trim (about 85' baseboard, trim around 3 doors, and painting 2 of those doors) to the scope of work. I expected it to add about a half day to the work. The work was "completed" on the 3rd day but one family room wall and window had not been done satisfactorily (fuzz on wall, crack not spackled) and I called Debra to let her know. She said she could not come until Monday (This was on Wed.) Because it was Easter weekend I understood that bringing a painter back on the 4th day might pose a scheduling problem and was I willing to wait until Monday. Debra said she herself would come to remedy the situation. On Monday when she did not come in the morning I called and she said she had forgotten. She also shared that there were family concerns she was dealing with but she would be there by 10 am. I told her to take care of family things and come Tuesday instead. She came (I left the door open for her since I had an important meeting I could not miss to be there with her). I also left a note related to the mess we had discovered in the powder room after I had talked to her on Wed. afternoon. (We had shown the 'day one-two painter' where the utility sink in the basement was for cleanup, but because other painters came on the other days, that information was not passed on, and they cleaned their brushes and who knows what else in the powder room sink, splattering all over the mirror, wall, floor and leaving blue paint residue in the sink.) Since I was in an all day meeting and could not be disturbed, I asked Debra, in the note, to call my husband to discuss things. Evidently that call was not productive because Debra ended up shouting at my husband about trying to get out of paying her, being too picky and then she hung up on him. She had begun to patch and smooth the wall and window area but stopped in the middle of it and walked out, leaving spackled patches on the wall and the job incomplete. She said she cleaned the bathroom (she may have wiped out the sink but just smeared the mirror when wiping the splatters; I had already cleaned up the wall and floor when my husband told me to leave it to show her -- we did not want her to clean it, just to see it.). We have written her a lengthy email and are awaiting her response. She left us a note mentioning the prior bad paint job in our home not being her problem and to just "look at drips and stuff" in the other 2 rooms. The work in the living and dining rooms ended up to be a very nice paint job and when I saw that I considered other painting I needed to be done after the family room and kitchen were finished...but after the "Dr Jekyll/Mr Hyde" turn of events I would never recommend or use Two Sisters Painting again. It bears mentioning that we have not yet paid for the work that was done, other than the initial coupon deal. We intend to pay for work that was completed, but not the inflated price she invoiced us for when the estimate was half of what she has charged us. Initial estimate: $600. Bill: $1200. Yes, we added to the work - about $100 (4 hours @$25/hr) and the other work went over some, but she is also billing for redoing work that had been done incorrectly which she said she would not. And she left us with a room we cannot yet put back together - 2 weeks later -- and we still have to find someone else to complete what she started. Update: one month later the only reply we have had from Two Sisters Painting is an email with an address to send our check to. No response to our email to her or explanation of why she did not finish the work.

The job was done expertly! The workers were fantastic. The end result was better than expected!

Overall I was very happy with the work. They were quick to schedule and arrived promptly on the first day. The price was fantastic compared to other quotes, as we were able to use their special. The job was completed in 2 days. Overall, the paint looked great. We did have a couple areas that needed an additional coat, as well as a couple areas where pain dripped on the carpet. However, I called Deb to notify her, and she sent the crew out again the next morning to fix everything. In the end, we got a great paint job for great price with good service.

They arrived on time, worked 8 hours, and completed the entire project. They did a great job and we are very pleased with the results. We will definitely remember them in the future if we need more painting done.

It went good. We discussed the schedule and couldn't reach the agreement only.

It was great. They did a great job. I paid extra additional charge. Instead of two people they brought in another person to do the living room and two bed. What I didn't like is that they took a 10 minute break every hour. They gave me a great deal.

They painted the entry walkway, ceiling, and hallway. They were personable and listened to my requests. They went above and beyond to fulfill my contract with me. They had four technicians do the work.

They showed up when they said they would. They were professional and courteous. They did an excellent job. I would use them again if I ever needed interior painting done.

They did some interior painting and it turned out fine. There were extra costs involved because it took a lot longer than anticipated.

They were a little late, but they did call. They painted for 8 hours and did a great job & great clean-up.

The bathroom looks terrific. Better than ever. They picked up the color I requested, worked very quickly, cleaned up after the fact, I will absolutely have them back again!
