Two Brothers Roofing

Two Brothers roofing has been great to work with. They are a small business where it's clear they care about the customers and have their best interests in mind. Ultimately it was decided that no immediate action was required but something to keep an eye on and repair in the future. I would definitely do business with them again.

I called and we decided to wait until there was a break in the weather. It then slipped my mind (nothing was urgent), and I didn't hear from them until I got a card in the mail! Turns out they had been leaving messages on the wrong phone number, but didn't let that stop them from trying to fill our needs. We quickly scheduled a visit and the inspection was very thorough with specific answers. We will be hiring them to do the work, just haven't started it yet.

Roof was repaired and price was great.

They were prompt, professional and the job was done as we expected.

I called Two Brothers on a Monday afternoon, worried that my small job wasn't that attractive--kind of like a short taxi ride. I got zero attitude--just positive, can-do entrepeneurial spirit on my call. I was told Zack would be out to the house the next morning. Zack phoned me when he was on his way, showed up in tidy yellow truck, and got right to work. Like the chap who answered my phone he was polite and professional. He identified the area that needed to be patched, and also found a few odds and ends (pipes that weren't sealed). He had spare shingles that matched my dimensional roof in the truck, thankfully. Got the whole thing knocked out in a few hours and was on his way. I'll definitely hire them again and recommend them to my neighbors.

Due to a misunderstanding with my realtor, I was in a bind and needed an immediate inspection of a roof on a home I was looking to purchase. A general inspection of the property in question revealed a potential for hail damage on the roof that would need to be verified by a roofing expert. To make a long story short, it came down to me needing to find someone that could take a look at the roof on that day to see if it needed repaired/replaced so that an inspection response could be completed. I found Two Brothers through Angie's List and called that morning. I spoke to Dana and without going into very much detail at all he told me he'd be able to go out there, same day, and take a look at the roof. My expectation, as well as the expectation of my realtor, was that any roofing company in their right mind is going to say this place needed a new roof because that's how you make money if you are a roofing company?by installing new roofs. Our deal at that point with the seller was tenuous at best due to other issues that came to light during the general inspection. Installing a new roof may have been a deal breaker on either side?Dana did not know this..As far as he was made aware, this was a potential sale waiting to happen. I received a call from Dana later that day (late enough that I believe he was working beyond the scope of his normal hours) and to my surprise he advised me that the shingles were in good condition with a probable life span of 15 to 20 years. He explained to me why the inspector may have suspected hail damage, provided some general information about the roof, and described some future maintenance issues that could be addressed. He never tried to sell me a thing. He came across as informed, professional, and trustworthy. Two Brothers may have very well made a "good" sale that day but instead they didn't make one cent from my situation. However, they will be the first and only place I go to for any future business regarding roofing issues. After telling my real estate agent about the response, she was equally as dumbfounded as I and immediately requested me to forward her Two Brothers information so that she could consider them in future transactions. I wish all businesses held the amount of integrity as Dana and Two Brothers did that day.

Everything went perfectly. Dana brought us several options to choose from, took care of all work permits, and insurance, and worked with us to install the new roofing when it fit our schedule. The crew was efficient, polite, friendly, and professional. Their clean up was incredibly thorough. We couldn't be happier.

Two Brothers Roofing has been great to work with as we have gotten our house ready for sale. They were very responsive and quick to come out and provide accurate and comprehensive estimates of roofing work that needed to be done at our house. They provided us with several options for each repair and worked with us to understand our needs. They stripped 4 layers of shingles and replaced some decking on our detached 2 car garage and then put a brand new roof on that looks fantastic. In addition, they did a great job cleaning up after themselves so we did not have any debris in our yard. Additionally, they were able to repair part of the roof over our kitchen that was leaking into the house. They were able to get us on the schedule quickly and got that work done in one day to avoid any more leakage before it rained again. I would highly recommend Two Brothers Roofing for any roofing or repair work and will definitely use them again in the future.

We are very happy with the outcome. They planned out the best strategy for our roof and the finished product looks great -- and no more leaks from the skylights. They also installed crickets behind the skylights to keep water from puddling up behind them. They were very careful to address any potential areas of future leaks and made sure the flashing around the skylights is installed correctly. They also explained exactly what they were doing throughout. The work crew were excellent and did very careful work. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and wish we had used them the first time!

They were not very forthcoming on the amount. They tried to get more money than what was quoted from my insurance company. They did a good job replacing the roof. There was 1 problem where the contractor punched a hole through my ceiling. They had to come in and patch it up. They didn't seal the hole inside, they just patched the hole on the roof. They made such a mess when they did it. They had spackling all over the room, and floors. They said they would replace the outside vents that go around our home and they didn't. I would never use them again, nor recommend to anyone else.

Perfect. Completed in one day (we had a big roof.) Clean up was thorough. Very professional and rate was very competitive for the Bloomington area. Highly recommend.

I would give them outstanding ratings. I spent $225. What really impressed me was one of the brothers whose name was Dana. I called to get an estimate to get something repaired. We had a leak in our dining room ceiling and the leak looked weird. It was a straight line from the chandelier to the window so we looked outside there were several chunks of ice around our gutter guards but there was only a problem with this one section. So we looked up for roofing services and when he came out he got up the ladder, the fault was easily accessible and he looked at it and he came back and said "I'm going to be honest with you. I would be glad to do the repair work for you. It's a small repair but there's a very nice roof and it doesn't look very old." So I told him it was fairly new and he said "Well in all fairness I think you need to go back to the contractor who did the work because what happened is that there is an 18 inch to 2 foot area where there is no ice and water shield." So when ice formed over the winter that we had there was no ice and water shield to protect it and that's why it leaked through so he advised us to talk to the person who did the work. I felt that was so honest. He gave us the bid and I gave him the job. I turned in a report on the contractor. I found Two Brothers guys on Angie's List.

Dana from Two Brothers Roofing responded immediately to my request for a bid to replace a roof. He was extremely professional and pleasant to work with. The job was completed within a week of my initial contact. Roof looks great!

This is an unsolicited testimonial. Very happy with response time and service. I needed a roof repaired for my real estate client. She was a first time buyer and called when her roof leaked 2 days after move in. Dana and Rick at Two Brothers responded quickly tore out the bad vent and decking (instead of just caulking or watersealing like a handyman had previously done) and showed up on time and cleaned up all materials. Very reasonable rate. Will definitely use them again.

They were very fair in pricing, they accepted exactly what the insurance appraised the roof for and put in a temporary fix for the shingles while we waited on insurance to come/send money. They arrived on time and nearly completed it in one day. We have a large roof with steep grades and they worked very late but still had to come back to finish up the next day. The owner stayed in constant contact leading up to it via email and another person was on site most of the day to supervise. I asked them to add zinc strips to fight algae problems we had on the old roof which they did for minimal additional cost. They also added some extra flashing in an area where rain was overflowing our gutters and offered to come out and adjust it if we found it necessary after the next rain. All in all they were very professional and had high attention to detail. They cleaned up pretty well but there were a few scraps and nails that I found over the next few days. I would definitely work with them again, but hopefully our roof will hold up for a long time.

Two Brothers did a phenomenal job putting a new roof on a house and barn that we have in Indiana. There were some issues with coordinating everything with our insurance company that were beyond their control, but they worked hard to stay in contact with the insurance company and update me on the progress that was being made so I wouldn't have to spend days on the phone trying to get everything taken care of. The new roof looks amazing and I would highly recommend contacting them for any of your roofing needs.

I had water come in around my mantle during a windy rain storm and called multiple companies the following day. I was made aware of the issue when I purchased the home a year earlier and was under the impression that a group had repaired the issue at that time. Knowing that it was only a year later and I did not want any contact with the original crew, I decided to reach out to others for estimates. Several roofing companies were giving me dates that were weeks away. Two Brothers Roofing was able to come out the same day I called. Nathan called me after checking out the roof and explained what was happening over the phone. He offered to put a tarp over the chimney since it was about to rain again. I took him up on his offer. Later that night, I was made aware that I should not have covered my chimney as it could cause Carbon Monoxide poisioning. I called Nathan to see if that was possible. He apologized as he was not aware that it was a functioning chimney. He offered to come that night to remove the tarp. There was no need for me to have my furnace on and decided to keep the tarp on till the next day to prevent any additional leaks. I did appreciate the offer to come back out so late. He called to check in with me over the next couple of days to see if I had made my decision about which roofing company I was going to use to fix the flashing and the leak. After dealing with two other roofers, which ended up never giving me an estimate, I called Nathan back. He sent someone out later that same day and was there to help repair my roof. I really appreciated their responsiveness. While they were working, Rick explained to me what the previous crew did as a quick fix and why it did not hold. he showed me exactly what he was going to do to repair the roof and explained why that would last. Nathan even took pictures at the end of the job so I could see what it looked like without getting on the roof myself. They were incredibly personable, friendly, and most of all responsive. I would highly recommend them and trust them with any roofing job in the future.

I found Two Brothers on Angie's List when my usual roofing company couldn't accommodate my immediate need to stop a roof leak. Dana came right away and took care of the situation. He was very professional and courteous and did a great job.
