Icemaker was filling and freezing, but not ejecting ice. Water was appearing on the top shelf of the refrigerator, and the temperature of both the freezer and refrigerator seemed higher than usual, despite having both cranked to the coldest setting. Chris listened to the symptoms, said he thought he knew the problem, unloaded the freezer, confirmed his hypothesis, gave us an estimate, and replaced the fan motor, then waited while the freezer defrosted to confirm the fix, all in just over an hour. Note: e-mail proved ineffectual in scheduling an appointment (from Angie's List, Turner's website, and their feedback e-mail account). There was no voicemail function active on the phone, but 6 hours after a live phone contact, on a Saturday, Chris was on the scene, solving the problem.

I called for an estimate the Friday before my appointment. He gave me the estimate of $790 for a new 50 gallon gas water heater installed and to take the old one away. He also recommended a $50 discount coupon from the yellow pages book. I asked for other information about water heaters and he told me the brand they used and it's quality over brands from Lowes or Home Depot. I called for estimates from other companies and checked Angies list. Turner's price was the best value and their Angies list record was "A". I have had appliance work from Turners before on my stove and dryer and never had any problems. I called back and scheduled my appointment for Monday between 11am and 12noon, which I felt was a pretty quick response. They arrived on time, 11am and ready to work. There were two repairmen, one young man and an older man. They told me I needed to change out my old valve connector for this brand water heater which was $40.00. I said OK and they took their time and answered any questions we had. They were finished by 1:15 pm. They told me I'd have hot water by 3pm. He stayed to make sure water heater was working properly. He told me the water may have air in the pipes and may spit when flowing from the faucet. He said it would go away after a while and not to get alarmed. We have had our water heater for a week now and no problems. Angies List is very helpful.

He was just terrific. He came that day and fixed it for much less than I expected. He was able to repair the leak without any damage to my home. He was very reasonable. He was just a really nice, efficient person. If he hadn't come that day, it would have probably cost a lot more.

My dryer had power but would not turn on. They initially came on 2/5/11. The employee made an inappropriate racist comment about "the dark side of town" which I found offensive. He stated he would have to come back with the part that needed to be ordered. Second visit- he told me that he had misdiagnosed the problem would return with the correct part. Third trip- He stated that he had again misdiagnosed the problem and would need to order the correct part. On the forth trip 2/28/11, the dryer was finally fixed. I was not really upset by the multiple trips. I was unhappy about the racial comment and the length of time that I was without a working dryer. I tried 3 times to call a manger but was never given a return phone call. I will not be using this company again.

They determined that it needed a new strip of rubber sealing for the door. They had to order it, and come back to install it. It seemed to work, but after some use, the dishwasher was still leaking. They came out again and found the leak was caused by a different worn seal. They ordered that one and installed it, and everything was fixed at no charge. They were very pleasant to deal with.

Came three times. Once to discover the cause of the leak. They ordered a part and set up an appointment to return. They were too late that day and rescheduled. They were on time the following day and performed the repair quickly and well All work completed in 3 and a half days. Door Boot $200 Service time: $80 service charge $45.00 Tax $14

The repairman came on time and fixed out problem! He and the receptionist were very courteous! I had called two other appliance repair businesses and they were rather rude. They did not seemed to care if they got our business or not. One business did not call back for 2 days; and when they did call back, they still weren't sure when they could come!

Fantastic! My first experience finding a qualified repair worker about 4 years ago was not as positive. The repair company had said they work on Asko appliances, but he arrived with photocopies of an online manual. He had never worked on one. I chose Turner because it got great reviews and showed Asko on its website. I called another highly rated company. They were wonderful on the phone, and I was grateful they told me they don't work on Asko. Called Turned next. They knew exactly which guy to send to me given I had an Asko. He was available within 2 hours of my call. Showed up right on time. Great personality, calm, great at explaining things. did call office back to see if anyone just happened to have a belt. Explained it would be ordered from Sweden and can be put back on in 3-5 days. When he discovered the other item broken, he ordered it before he left so there were no delays. I paid a deposit. He told me the 2nd visit would be free since they couldn't do it in one visit. Called 4 business days later. Set up the return visit for the next day. Showed up exactly on time. (In fact, my child came home sick, so he delayed a few minutes arriving so I had time to go pick her up.) I was just shocked at the cost, but as an import, the belt was $108 and rollers were $80, so.... Given it's my first dryer repair in 10 years, I can't complain!

They were prompt, helpful, and fixed the problem quickly. I would definitely use them again.

Professional service....timely and affordable

i set up a time with Turner Appliance to come look at my dryer. They were on time, called in advance, and performed the service quickly and very well. They were clean, trustworthy, and explained everything in depth. They then ordered parts that were needed and then called and set up a time to replace. At that time, i was not availalbe, so i left the door open for them to enter on their own. They left it very clean, everything in place, and very trustworthy. thank you.

They are excellent. When I call they always tell me they will be arriving within two hours, and that's convenient for me.

Although they weren't able to fix it, I appreciate their honesty, punctuality and suggestions. The fix was going to be more than the machine was worth.

Tech. found the problem Sais he would see if they could get parts. one week lter I called to find out what the status was. He said his boss wanted another tech. to look at it. They came back the problems was still the same they would check @ parts (they would be expensive) I asked them let me know what a new unit would cost, they said OK. One wk. later no word, I called tech. was out with tooth problem. He called back on Mon. and told my wife they couldn't find parts for the Carrier unit. I found another co. that found the parts and repaired the unit.

The repair person arrived on time and got right to work. He diagnosed the problem and had the part on the truck so he was able to do the repair right then. It was a part Turner Appliance had already replaced twice...not sure if they use low-quality parts or whether it's just a part that breaks often. The entire repair took about a half hour and the repair person cleaned up nicely after himself. I felt like the price was a little high for a half-hour job with a part that was free because it was still covered under warranty, but I have a working oven again so I'm satisfied.

The ignitor and burners went out on one side of my stove. The repair man showed up for the initial diagnosis in the 2 hour timeframe requested. He was to got me a quote that day for the parts and I scheduled him to return on the following Monday. An hour and a half into the 2 hour time frame the receptionist called called to say they needed to reschedule because the technician forgot to put the part on his truck. I rescheduled the repair for Wednesday and after waiting 2 hours for them to show, the repairman called to tell me it would be at least another hour because he was on the opposite side of town and needed to stop to pick up the part(which is no bigger than a post-it note). The repairman showed up as scheduled Friday only to tell me there was something else broke. It is now Wednesday and I have not gotten a quote for that part that he was going to have shipped over night, nor has the owner called me after 2 requests to discuss this with him. I have used Turner 2 times before but will no longer call them for service.

We were able to get service the same day we called. He was on time and had the repair done quickly. The serviceman was friendly and professional.

Was efficient, helpful and a positive experience

The technician came out and gave an estimate. He was here for 10 minutes, but didn't have the part so he had to return. He returned with the circuit board on Nov 4th and again spent 10 minutes in my house. This was a total of 20 minutes at a cost of $80.00 for service and a service charge of $40.00. Go for it if you all believe this is an excellent company. I won't use them again.

He found that the mother board to the dishwasher washer had shorted out. He was honest about the cost replacing it verses getting a new dishwasher. We decided to go with a new one.

The mechanic came out and looked at it. He told us what it would cost if we were trying to replace it. He lubricated the bearing that was making some noise. He also said it could last a ling time if we didn?t mind the noise.

I called and they said they could come out today between 4 and 6 and I asked if it could be from 4:30 till and they said no. I explained to them that I sprayed for bugs and it was recommended that no entry until 4:30pm. They said that it was policy and they could not do it. I told them that I would call someone else as appose to waiting another day with a down refrigerator. This company was inflexible and there rates per hour were higher than others on the list. Normally this means they have less scheduled and this was the case for this company as stated by the person that answered the phone. I am still looking.

My washing machine was not draining. Called at 9:00 and had a tech (Chad) at my house by 11:00. Chad took the front panel off and knew right away what was wrong. I think he only worked a total of 15 minutes and it was fixed. He was very knowledgable, professional and nice plus, he didn't berate me when it turned out that the problem was caused by me washing comforters and pillows. This is the 3rd time in 5 years I have used Turner Appliance and each experience as been great. I wouldn't even think of calling someone else. I would write more but I have tons of laundry to get done. Thanks Chad!
