Cost was more that I thought it would be, but good service and professional workers,

He raised them too high and I burned food. Perhaps, it was because the cooktop was old and not repairable. I had already ordered a new cooktop.

Awesome, quick , efficient , pleasant. Brent even helped me with calibrating my ovens. Can't say enough good things about this service trip.

Great! Tech guy diagnosed the problem, frozen water line, and told us how to correct it.

A repairman arrived to our house within a day after calling to schedule an appointment. They diagnosed the problem..the drain pump had failed. I received a call the following day to schedule to have the new drain pump installed. I like the quick service. We had a repairman from Turner Appliance at our house last December, to replace an ignitor on our 17 year old gas stove.

Thomas was the technician who came out and he did a great job. I would hire them again.

Scheduled service appointment during two hour window -- 12-2 p.m. No one showed up or called. When I contacted company, I was informed I had "fallen off the schedule." They have now fallen off my list of service providers.

Turner disassembled the microwave and determined it had a broken magnetron. The cost to replace the magnetron was similar to the cost of a new microwave. I decided to replace the microwave oven with a new one. I selected the make and model (over the range type) and they installed it. The work was completed promptly, professionally and at a reasonable price.

About 3 months ago, the defrost element stopped working so I called Turner Appliance. They had someone come out and charged me $70 to melt the ice in the line. About 2 months later it happened again so I called them back. They then told me that I only have a 30-day warranty. I explained to them that it takes at least a month and a half for the ice to build up enough for it to stop working. They then said that they could send someone out but it would cost another $70, which I just don't think is fair. I wouldn't recommend them. UPDATE (3/7/18): The provider came out, fixed my refrigerator and didn't charge me for the service.

They did a fair and good job. My dryer broke and they did a great job to fix it. The dryer squeaked a lot after they replaced a belt. Overtime, the squeaking has decreased significantly.

I had a very positive experience. The service tech was very informative and took care of my dryer. He had get a new part but made sure he could come back the very next day to install the new part. The service was great.

This is my third review related to this; you can find the others below. After reading on Angie's List that our problem was misdiagnosed originally (replaced master control) and later diagnosed and repaired correctly (replaced tub hangers), Turner appliance got in touch with me and said they would refund the difference between the original/more expensive repair and the subsequent/less expensive repair. Today I received a refund of $132.68 from Turner Appliance in the mail.

I wrote the below review a couple of weeks ago. Since then Danny came back once to reassess the problem and once to install new hangers for the spinning tub. (I think those are the right names for the parts.) We weren't charged anything more than the original $378 we paid. This seems to have fixed the problem although we've had one 'slow drain' code since then. "Our washing machine wasn't working properly; almost every load was ending with an 'unbalanced load' or 'slow drain' code. Danny from Turner Appliances came out and assessed the problem and said it needed a new 'main control assembly'. He came back a few days later, installed the main control assembly, but this didn't fix the problem. I called the company back to let them know. They are sending Danny out again to reexamine. I asked if I would get a refund or a credit for the $378 I've paid so far. They said Danny would have to reassess the problem, talk to the owner, and then they'd let me know. I'll write more when I learn what the final resolution."

We decided to buy a new refrigerator.

I explained the issue to the technician and with no diagnostics he immediately assumed that the control board was bad. It had to be ordered. Came back a week later and replaced the board. Ran the unit through a rinse and hold cycle which it completed. Two days later with a load of dishes, unit was dead. Tech came back and said maybe it was a door switch and not the $400 control board. I asked him to remove the new control board and refund my money. After calling the owner, it was agreed to refund all except the $70 trip charge. Lesson learned: if your appliance breaks just ditch it and buy a new one.

I called Turner to repair. Their technician diagnosed a bad main board. Scheduled a return call, and the main board did not fix problem. Technician troubleshot until he said " I do not know what is wrong...sorry". He recommended that I call his boss, and request a refund. I called Rick, and he said the final solution was to replace the entire left door assembly. The door was no longer available. I troubleshot the problem down to a bad water valve on the door. I replaced, and it now makes ice. I feed the service fee should be refunded. ($95.00)

The washing machine boot replacement went fine, but the boot they installed failed within a week or so. However, they warranted their work and were back out within 3 days of my fall informing them of the issue and fixed it quickly. The above the range microwave install went fine, however a couple of pieces of trim around my cabinets were knocked off in the process and left on the counter. I'm chalking it up to an oversight and just popped them back on myself.

Thomas, the service tech was prompt, friendly and very knowledgeable. My oven is 41 years old and was fearful that it couldn't be repaired. He determined that it was a problem with the element and was able to locate a new one. He was back out two days later to install it. I would definitely recommend Turner Appliance.

The install was difficult due to the tight quarters, but the two men who came were very positive that they would get the job done. Overall it went well.

Not repairable. Suggested that I purchase from them and the $70 service call would be credited towards purchase.

While scheduling the first visit, I was told that they always call before they leave the last job site, and they would call 30 minutes before they arrive, so I could leave from work. I get a call while at work that the technician is in my driveway. Not only did he not give me a 30-minute call, he didn't call at all. On to the washer. On the first visit, problem was supposedly diagnosed and parts were ordered. Apparently some miscommunication and parts came in a day late. Second visit, problem was supposedly fixed. The next day, washer again flooded my downstairs. I noticed the water was really warm. Upon investigation, I saw that Hot and Cold water had been hooked up incorrectly. Not a big deal compared to the misdiagnosis, but just incompetent.Third visit, the "real" problem was corrected. Minimal apology, no discount or price correction. Now that I think about it I wonder if there would have been a price difference if they only needed what was really broken. (A hose was "clogged" vs a pump that was replaced.) Will not use again.

Thomas did a great job--he explained exactly what the problem was and presented us with multiple options in terms of getting it fixed. A part was required--it was ordered within 24 hours and Thomas was back two days later to fix the dishwasher. He was friendly and professional. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would hire Turner again in an instant.
