My tenant advised that her fridge wasn't cooling so I checked Angie's List for local large appliance companies. I live in another state so it was enormously helpful to have this resource! My tenant contacted the company and had a great experience. The repair was done quickly and at a reasonable cost.

After taking a portion of the dryer apart, he performed a few minutes of diagnostics and determined he was 99% sure the dryer vent was clogged with lint between the floor and outside vent. He recommended a dryer vent specialist whom I contacted. He came out a couple fo days later and took care of the problem.

Things did not go well. The guy they sent was rather young, but he seemed to know what he was doing, at first. He looked at the exhaust fan and he decided they needed to order parts, so he wrote down some information and told us they would re-schedule when the parts came in. He looked at the refridgerator, and then after some head scratching, he called to the office and spoke to someone who had worked on this problem before. He then told us that when they came back out, we would have to empty the refridgerator and the freezer 12 hours in advance, and allow the unit to thaw. The next day I got a call from the office, and the tech had not written down all of the info that he needed to order parts for the exhaust fan, and had me look inside the unit for a sticker that was not visable to me. When I could not find the information they needed, they wanted to schedule another visit. At this point I was a somewhat miffed, but I had not paid any money. I called another company to look at the refriderator, They took about 30 minutes to unclog a small drain line, without a 12 hour defrost period! I called a differnt company to look at the fan. They took about 20 minutes to find a loose screw and did not even had to order any more parts. I am so lucky that I did not pay anything for what amounted to no service at all.

Our most recent service need was to repair a dishwasher that occasionally leaked during the wash cycle. The Turner team, after three calls diagnosed the cause as abnormal soap residue afer several years use. They flushed the system with a cleaning solution and recommended a change in detergents for several cycles. Problem solved.

He temporarily fixed it versus replacing the part, due to cost.

I was going to order an ice maker, but my refrigerator is 31 years old. I was very happy with their service. They were very nice.

I called on a Wednesday and was easily able to get an appointment scheduled for my preferred day (Saturday). They gave me a two-hour window, and the technician called when he was on his way and arrived during the promised time period. The technician was very professional and was able to quickly figure out what the problem was (our icemaker wasn't working, and he showed us why the icemaker needed to be completely replaced) and give us a quick estimate to repair it. He had a replacement with him that he was able to install on-the-spot (I'm always frustrated with service techs who show up KNOWING that something like a sump pump or an icemaker isn't working...and then have to leave to "go back to the shop to get a new one," adding an hour to the repair time). He finished the job, explained that it would take about two hours for the icemaker to make new ice, and wrote out our invoice. He took of our "Angie's List" coupon with no problem and was on his way! We will definitely use this company again for future services.

I called in for service and spoke to a very polite customer service clerk. Then I received same day service within 3 hours . The technician Stan, cleaned the drain line PLUS corrected the drain flow. Very polite, clean and fast service! And excellent price! I would grade the experience A+ !

They let me know that the motor was shot and recommended I buy a new dryer. They were very timely and the service person was nice and educated. He even recommended some different dryers to buy.

It turned out well. They showed up within the time window they gave and fixed the small problems. They did a good job, impressed me, knew what they were doing, were clean, and explained everything well and answered my questions.

My husband called on Thursday and was able to get a Saturday appointment. He spoke to a responsive individual on the phone. Appointment scheduled for 11-1pm. Called before 11 to notify was 20 minutes on the way. Arrived as promised. Diagnosed igniter problems, and price. Explained warranty, and when Angie discount was mentioned, acknowledged it and quoted correct discount. He performed the job quickly, cleaned up, and explained the process on how to contact the office for follow up or warranty issues. Cheerful worker, excellent attitude, did not grimace when we discovered 13 years of pet hair under the stove (Auugh-I did!) . Do not know if the work would have been cheaper but other service providers contacted could not come earlier even though they were called earlier and the phone interactions were lacking. So, a provider’s attitude and punctuality goes a long way.

I used one of the coupons that I got in the book that was sent to me by Angie's List. I used them and I was really pleased with them. The manufacturer on the refrigerator couldn't come out as he was having a family gathering and it was a Saturday. The refrigerator was completely out and the ice was melting. We called the company with whom we have a maintenance agreement and they had some problem and couldn't pull up our record. We decided we would have someone to look at it and see how much the cost would be. Turner came out immediately and fixed it as they had the part. Within 2 hours from the time they came our refrigerator was working. We were just really pleased with their work and their ability to get to us and everything. It was great. We were informed by them that the part was not covered by warranty. He knew right away what was wrong with it even before he looked at it. When I told him what it was like and the noise it was making he knew the problem. I would use them again as they were very prompt and I am sure the price for the part was fixed and they were really reasonable. They were just prompt and seemed very knowledgeable. He knew exactly what he was doing. I thought he was really honest as well as he was able to tell us upfront what was going on. We were just so pleased with everything.

Initial phone contact was with a real person. The follow up appointment was made with the technician that came out at my first availability within two days. They were able to fix the issue with the refrigerator, and they gave me the best price. I had similar work done on another fridge, and it cost me over $100.00 more with another company. I was very happy with the customer service and the quality of work done. I was even given a warranty on the work and was told that if the fridge were to be replaced within the warranty period, they would apply the service call fee towards the purchase price.

I have used them for about 6 years. They are very prompt and professional. The last time they fixed the oven, they told me that if it still didn't work they would come back with another part free of charge.

Called before he arrived, as asked. Arrived on time and was friendly and focused. He fixed my washing machine with a part on his truck in about an hour. I appreciated the Saturday morning availability and quick repair!

Was happy with the technician. Easy to interface with. I had gotten a recommendation from two friends for Turner. They Turner was able to get here within the first day after I called them.

We called on the August 8th and they showed up on the 12th. They said the part should be here on the 15th and now they have moved it back to the 17th. We haven’t had hot water for a week. I don’t believe if they ordered the part on Monday it takes 5 days to be delivered by UPS. They keep blowing us off. It cost $360 to replace the coil. They said if that didn’t fix it, I would have to get a new water heater. I saw one for sale at Menards for $319. They said they would sell us a commercial grade water heater for $700, and we don’t need a commercial water heater. They are trying to sell us something we don’t need. It’s bad customer service.

The guy that came out put the washer in the drain spin mode and it drained properly. He said that I probably had a temporary clog. Double checked it a spin mode a 2nd time. It costed 45.00 for the service call which was good for 30 days. That next weekend it did the same thingso I called to let them know it was still occurring. The same guy, David, came out and did not have a water drain pump with him to service the job which then caused the company to come out a 3rd time. Jeff then came out and finished the job. If they would have checked the pump the first time then they would have not come out a 2nd or 3rd time. This is why I gave them a B.

called Turner Appl and spoke with Ashley ( aka SUPERWOMAN ) and she had someone her to fix my fridge in 2-3 hrs that same day ..... b4 my food went bad :) this is the 2nd time in 2 wks that we have used this company and we will use them from NOW ON !!!!! Great customer service !!!!!!!

I called at 8:30 am on a Saturday morning and Jeff was at my house at 11:00 am to fix the dryer. He was able to figure out what was wrong. He didn't have the part in his truck so he went to the warehouse to pick it up. Our dryer was fixed and drying clothes by 1:00 pm. The new part has a 3-year warranty. I would definitely use him again!

My refrigerator was not cooling. I went online to Just Answer.com to get advise and a repair recommendation. After several questions and answers, the tech recommended that we replace the refrigerator ($2,000). I got Turner's number from Angie's list and called on a Sunday. The service on a Sunday was $50.00 extra which, I was expecting and well worth it. This is the only appliance repair service that I found that took Sunday calls. The on-call tech (David) arrived as scheduled and repaired the fridge in 15 minutes (or less). Outstanding!

The cooling element in my fridge needed a new part, and they fixed it and guaranteed it for 6 months.They were great. They came on time, were very nice, knew what the problem was, got the part, serviced it efficiently, and cleaned up afterward. The only thing that could have been better is it could have been free!

My washer was leaking. Turner Appliance sent a repair person out the day I called. The repair person looked at the machine and said I needed a new pump. Might have one at the shop but if they needed to order the pump it would take two weeks. Turner Appliance contacted me (10 days after the initial assessment) to say the pump was in and scheduled a repair person for the following day. It took the repair person less than 10 minutes to take off the old pump and put on the new one. I was billed : $98 for the part; $70 service time, $45 service charge (coupon from Angies list was $10 off) with tax it came out to $219.86. I felt the service time/charge was excessive...$115 for less than one hour total on the job. Turner Appliance was very professional and my washer was fixed. The price seems high...but then again...?

The repairman was very knowledgable, efficient and fast. He had a baking element on his truck and was quickly able to change the element. He checked the oven to be sure it worked before leaving. He stated that the element might emit some odor due to materials in the new element. This stopped after the first use. The price was a little higher than I anticipated, but it had been a number of years since the element was last changed. Overall, I was very pleased with the service and would use them again.

The technician was a complete professional. They were very prompt on arrival. Ask for Steve.
