They came out promptly after our call and diagnosed the problem. Had to order a part and returned 2 days later to install it. Very professional, prompt, and courteous.

They showed up early and repaired the refrigerator in a little over 1 hour. However, a water hose was kinked when the refrigerator was pushed back into its space. Consequently, the icemaker did not work. They came out the next day and discovered the problem.

Chris, the repairman, found the problem with our dishwasher (a bad water valve in the dishwasher), the part had to be ordered, this was from 5/18. Monday 5/21, He returned and installed a new water valve, ran the dishwasher through the cycles and gave us a bottle of "dishwasher magic" cleaner (really good cleaner!). An all around good experience. About an hour after Chris, the repairman, left our home someone from Turner Appliance, called to be sure we were happy with the work that was done.

Employ arrived in allotted time slot. He was able to "correctly" diagnose the problem. He gave me the part number. I knew it would be an easy fix. So, I oredered the part and was able to do the repair myself. I would not have been able to diagnose the problem without his help. They only charged me for identifying the problem.

It was fine. They came the same day. I called on a Saturday morning and they came that same afternoon. He identified the problem right away, had the part with him, and was able to repair that same day.

Dwight had replaced a couple of parts at a previous visit but the dryer just did not heat and dry the clothes the way it should. He came back promptly and investigated some more, taking the dryer apart and replacing the dryer hose that I had purchased. He cleaned everything out and educated me on the workings of a dryer. Since my tenants also use this dryer, this was important to me. Dwight is a delight to work with! Polite and very knowledgeable. I highly recomment this company and Dwight. I won't call anyone else for my appliance repair.

After a very bad experience with another service repair company we gave up on them and called Turner Appliance. They came out the same day and instead of just replacing the main board the technician soldered a bad connection on the board and the solution worked. This saved me a few hundred dollars. We had called HH Gregg for service over 6 weeks ago and they sent Duvall's Appliance Services. I have provided a separate review of Duvall's but in short order do not use them. After all this time, multiple visits and many unreturned calls we gave up on Duvall's and found Turner Appliance on Angie's list. After one call and few hours later the problem was resolved. The technician was very easy to work with and explained all of my options. He told me the board was damaged and that he may be able to repair it, which he did. Very satisfied with the service from Turner Appliance.

Provided service on a Saturday morning of a holiday weekend. Polite, punctual - incredibly helpful from first phone call to end of repair. Great job!

Our refridgerator was not cooling properly. The tech was on time (we had a 2 hour window and he gave me a 30-minute call ahead of arrival). He went right to work and identified the issue after about 10 minutes (short in internal electrical wiring that was causing the fan not to operate). Unfortunately our issue couldn't be fixed and we will have to buy a new fridge, but he was very good in walking me through the issue and cost effectivenss of repair v. replace. He also gave his opinions on a few brands when I asked him what to buy and what not to buy.

I called Turner Appliance and they offered me an appointment the next day. Jeff, the technician, called me an hour ahead of schedule to see if I was available. He checked the dryer, checked the breaker, then determined that the heating element was broken and needed to be replace--he showed me the broken part. He had a replacement part on the truck. He replaced it and I was back in business in less than an hour. Very efficient and professional. I would definitely call Turner Appliance again.

I have used Turner a few times before and purchased used units for my lake house in the past I have ALWAYS had grest honest service and sales with them. They do an amazing job and are very timely and their customer service is really awesome. Techs are very well trained and know how to do the repairs correctly at a great price. I would never call anyone else out to handle my repairs since finding Turner a couple years ago. Blessed and never stressed knowing they are a just a phone call away. Normally same day service I have never had to wait but if I did I would wait because its going to be worth it. My dishwasher is running as good as new again and even looks better really clean.

Serviceman arrived in time stated. Fast and concise explanations and service completed in a timely manner.

There was some confusion about what I needed. the service tech informed me I needed a plumber I received a call asking about the service I received and i explained what had transpired and later I the afternoon the service charge was waived This is what you call good customer service I would call this company for future repairs

I found them on Angie's List. They had to come out twice to fix my refrigerator. I did not have to pay for the second service call. They had to replace a different part the second time. It was a hassle to have them come out twice. I thought it was fixed the first time. I do not know if I needed both parts, but the second part took care of the problem. They did a great job the second time. They were in and out within a half an hour. They fixed the motor switch, and it came right on. They were very polite. They put plastic down before they moved my refrigerator. When I called them the second time, I was given the number of the technician to call. I had to call several times to get a response. They were punctual. I would try someone else before I use them again.

Very easy. Came when they said and ordered part. Returned next day and fixed.

This is the second time I have used Turner Appliance Repair on the southside. I have been very satisfied with their services both times. Their service technicians are well-mannered and explain what the problem is and the cost of fixing the appliance. This time the technician was Chris and I would not hesitate to have Chris return for any other problems with my large appliances.I was told on the phone when I called for service that there was a $45 service charge and I think this is higher than what it was about two years ago when I first used their services. I paid for the new switch and the labor to install it and the service charge.I think their service charge should be reduced when they come and do the repair, but that's just my opinion. Other than the $45 service charge, I am very satisfied with Turner Appliance Repair.

Our upright freezer's "alarm" had gone off, telling us that it wasn't keeping the temp. high enough. Of course, it was on a Saturday.Turner Appliance Repair was our THIRD Angie's choice; the first two would not come until Monday, even though one of the two had weekend service hours posted.Turner Appliance Repair was extremely nice...and...most important to us, with a freezer that could "go" at any time...able to send someone out before the end of the day. Jeff, the serviceman they sent, called SEVERAL HOURS EARLY to see about coming. Awesome! Of course, we got the Angie's List $5.00 off of the bill, which was nice.We were happy campers...until...we were told that someone would come back on MONDAY to "FIX IT". That is not what we were led to believe when my husband hung up the phone after the initial call. We expected something to be done then....not two + days later!My husband, who is struggling with PTSD issues as it is & didn't want to blow up at someone, was so angry that he couldn't call back. So I had to. I said that we had expected something to be done...& it wasn't; "Why?" I was told that since it was a "freon" issue & that freon us rarely used anymore with the newer models, that the serviceman/men (unless knowing in advance) didn't carry it with them. Also, "special" servicemen apparently are sent for just this. NOTE: our freezer is a new model...NOT old. I then asked for a guesstimate of what the next charge of coming out would be; we wouldn't have to pay for another service call, but would have to pay for the time & freon...which she didn't know...& forwarded my call back to Jeff--who also did not know. I called the office once again to ask for someone else who would know. I was transferred to "??" (I don't remember his name because, frankly, by then I was getting cranky.) He gave me a guesstimate of total cost, but I was still left to try to figure it out on my own. We did re-schedule for the coming Monday between 4-6 PM. I called the office on Monday, just about 4 PM to cancel the service call. Neither my husband or I wanted to put any further money out for this right now, and honestly, we were offered help by a friend who was coming into state soon; we could wait. Now, to be fair, the reason I'm not giving them an "A", is because of NOT taking care of our emergency. Having several hundred dollars of frozen food sitting in a possible non-freezing-freezer, and NOT getting it fixed when that is what we expected--and nothing otherwise was said--yeah, no "A". But...I am giving them a "B" for "being there" and sending someone; being friendly and trying to help with my other phone calls; and having an ABOVE FAIR PRICE for a Saturday call. Will we try them again? Yes, I do believe so. Not everything can have a happy ending in life, and I figure this is one of them...and that's okay. Why? BECAUSE of Melissa , the woman in the office. She was responsive, personable, and did all that she could; and I understand that. PS...When I called the office again on Monday to get Melissa's name, she told me the "Why's" on the freon issue, and that they would take what we paid for the repair call & put it towards the purchase price of one of their refurbished (my word) appliances. How cool is that?! Angie's List people: THIS IS A COMPANY THAT YOU CAN DO BUSINESS WITH. NO WONDER THEY HAVE "A's"!!!

On Saturday, 5/5/2012, we noticed that our Amana French Door Refrigerator was not cooling. I called Turner on the morning of 5/7/2012 and set up an appointment, between 12:00PM and 2:00 PM on 5/7/12, to have them diagnose the problem and recommend a solution. Their Technician, Chris, called about 1:20PM and indicated he was on the way. he arrived at about 1:30PM and promptly set about looking for the problem -- it appeared to be the compressor controller. He gave me a price to replace it. We agreed and he got a controller from his truck and replaced it. He then put the refrigerator back together and checked its operation. It was cooling, but the fan that is used to provide air for the refrigerated areas wasn't working. He removed and replaced the fan, put the refrigerator back together, received his payment, and left about 2:30PM. It would be hard to get much better service than this. Hopefully, we won't need their service again, but I would gladly call Turner if I did.

We haven’t had any problems with it since. They were very prompt and the serviceman was professional.

Called some Angie's List recommendations when electric dryer stopped heating. This company was the most friendly and responsive. Tech came out the next day, diagnosed the problem and replaced the part. Price was a little more than I was expecting but the service was excellent. I will use them again and highly recommend them.

They were very prompt, professional, and communicated well. I've used them for a long time and they can repair a wide range of appliances.

They matched the lowest price we could find on the dishwasher and deducted the service call as well.
