Turner Appliance

When the service repairman got to my home he saw the washer and said he knew what the problem was. He didn't touch it or do any kind of hands-on evaluation. He said he knew what the problem was just by the brand and age of the unit, and the fact that it was full of water. I was skeptical, but it turns out he was right! He said the issue was the sensor that indicated that the lid was closed. It had worn out (he said likely from dropping the lid/allowing it to close in a rough fashion). He said he could replace it for around $200, or he could do a work around, which would cost $130. The work around, which I chose for cost savings, entailed him cutting the lid sensor wires so that function would be disabled. It meant that when I open the lid, the washing machine drum will not stop spinning. I could manually stop it by pushing in the knob. He did the wire snip job so quickly that I missed it. I told him I wanted to see what he did, so he removed the top panel and showed me. The whole thing took not more than 5 minutes, really. I had to sign a form saying something along the lines of I would not pursue any damages from their company in the event I was injured from the spinning washing machine drum. Whereas I was grateful to be able to use the washing machine again, that was a lot of $$ for a 5-minute repair. The repairman was prompt, friendly, and explained things clearly.

Had Turner out to fix our dishwasher, they responded the same day and needed to order parts but returned promptly the next day and made the repair. Very happy with their work and response time, will definitely use again!

I called in the morning and they scheduled a tech for between 11-1:00 that same day. Justin arrived at 11:00 and fixed the problem in about an hour.

Our service appointment time was between 12 and 2 pm. Jeff came to our home at 12:30 p.m. and called beforehand stating he would be there in 10 minutes, which was exactly the time stated. He came very professionally dressed and started to work immediately. He checked the dryer vent to make sure it wasn't clogged. He then saw a crack in the thermostat on the back of the dryer, installed a new kit and the dryer was fixed. He went above and beyond the call of duty and also gave us an estimate of how much it would be to repair our refrigerator's ice maker. We were extremely pleased and would definitely recommend Turner Appliance. We also plan to have them do any future repairs on any appliances that may need repair.

Chris of Turner Appliances arrived promptly, was very professional, diagnosed and Repaired my 15-year old oven within 20 minutes of his arrival. WOW. He replaced everything he moved and cleaned up where he'd been, and could not have been more polite.

Everything went very well with the service call. The service tech Turner was clean-cut and professional. He was able to locate the leak almost immediately. His solution to the problem with the braided supply line gives me peace of mind that I will not have any water leaks in the foreseeable future. He was able to literally replace the old line with the new hose in a matter of 15 minutes. He tested the dishwasher and the new hose for leaks. No problems. Even fixed the discharge hose connection form the dishwasher to the garbage disposal by removing an old hose clamp and replacing it with a very secure band clamp.

It went very well. He came exactly when he said he would. He told me what the problem was and how he would repair it. It was done very cleanly and efficiently.

Our oven filled with gas when I tried to start it but did not ignite. I called Turner's and they sent a technician to our home the next day. It was determined what we needed and Cody came the next day and replaced the faulty part. I was very impressed with the quick response, the price seemed fair, and Cody was great! He worked efficiently, explained a lot about my old oven that I was not aware of, and was very nice to work with! Job well done.

I called on Monday and serviceman was here Tuesday morning at 8:45 a.m. He quickly diagnosed why the dryer was not heating. Replacement of wire to thermostat was done quickly, but only after I was informed of the price for the part and labor. Serviceman was professional and work area was cleaned up before he left. Very pleased with this first time experience with Turner Appliance. Found them on Angie's List and was able to use the coupon offered.

He was on time. Determined that we needed a part for the washer. Ordered it right away. He came back within two days and completed the repair.

He came did a great job, fixed it. They were prompt, they came when they said they would come, they told me how long they would take to do it and the thing worked and they also told us the levitations of their work in the sense that I had asked for the glass, and they said they would certainly give it a try and they said that more often most of these things generally don't clean up very well, but I was very happy with the work that he did.

Vendor was very responsive when initially called with the technician coming out to the house quickly. He diagnosed the problem with our washer quickly and ordered a replacement part. Our only issue was the time it took to order the part. The technician indicated that it would only be a couple of days (he came on a Tuesday and estimated that the part and repair would be done that Thursday). Unfortunately it took an additional week get the part and finish the repair. Turner Appliance did call and apologize for the miscommunication which was appreciated.

I turned the washer on but the start button would not work. Turner Appliance was called and found that the start button was broken inside the top so the whole top had to be replaced. It is all computerized. The technician fixed it so I could use a pen to push the start button so I could use the washer until the part was ordered. The entire top of the washer had to be replaced. He came within a week to replace the part. He was very professional and explained what needed to be done.

It went fine. I thought they were a little expensive.

Great Brent showed up on time and ran through a few tests found the problem and fixed the fridge on the spot. Great folks fair price.

Brent installed the new ice maker in our GE refrigerator. He was knowledgeable and professional.

it was wonderful, we had a stopped up freezer drain, they came and cleared that and got the drain cleared out and it's been working great since.

The service call went well. i appreciated the fact that the repairman didn't push a fix on me, but rather suggested that I get a new dishwasher, as the old one had other issues.

After being in our home for 6 months, the dryer suddenly quit providing heat to dry the clothes. (The dryer is 8 to 9 years old.) Turner was called on a Friday afternoon and were able to come first thing (8am) the following Monday morning. The technician determined the problem was the burner coils and he had it repaired within about a half hour. Jeff was very courteous and professional and we certainly appreciate the service he provided.

My oven was not heating, I called Turner Appliances and they had an opening the next day. They provide a 2 hour window of when the repairman would be arriving and noted he would call prior to arrival. He did call and arrived within the allotted outlined. He promptly went to diagnosing the problem and discovered it was the computer board for the stove, since it was after 5:30, he stated he would call me the next day with price part, if it was too high I was going to proceed to just replace the oven. I was offered in the event I wanted to replace the oven to call Turner Appliance with the model / price of the oven I wanted to purchase, they would apply the initial service call cost to the purchase. I was called before noon the next day with the cost of the part, with the $$ I already had spent for the initial service call I chose to fix the oven. We scheduled for Friday. Again, the repairman (Turner, no relation) called and arrived promptly during the outlined time frame; repaired the oven and all was completed within 45 minutes.

The technician, Brent, was courteous and clearly explained the problem and what was needed to fix it. He worked quickly and even put food back in the refrigerator (totally unexpected). Water was accumulating on the inside bottom below the deli drawer. The fix required three appointments - first to determine probable problem. Then the frig had to be turned off for 24 hours to enable an inside panel to be removed - ice had formed behind the panel making it impossible to remove it without causing damage. During the second appointment, Brent determine the problem and ordered the part. He then turned on the refrigerator - he said ice would not form in the short time needed to get the part. He retuned the next day to complete replace the faulty heater. Even though three appointments were needed, work was completed in three consecutive days. Great job!

to workinghOur 13 year old Whirlpool fridge quit cooling. Called Turner when i found they were highly rated on Angie's list and a friend of mine also said they were excellent. Thought that the price to replace a part that took 5-10 minutes was a little high. But then if I had the time and knowledge to do it myself, I wouldn't have to call a professional. Everything went well and my wife is happy to have our fridge back. I guess all in all, we got it done quickly and didn't lose to much food. That in itself is worth the cost.
