Our bathroom was 20+ years old and needed updating. Mr. McAvoy came and asked what we had in mind. He was great at listening and understanding not necessarily what we said, but what we actually had in mind. He made some suggestions to help make updates but keep the cost down, e.g., a way to keep the very large mirror in the bathroom so we didn't have to replace it because of one small area. He also pointed out some things that we could do to help match the area around the tub (which we were keeping), to the new shower and countertops. Once we had the plans, we went into the store and worked with Dawn to pick out tile, shapes, colors, doors, faucets... it's amazing all the decisions you have to make for a bathroom. She was extremely patient while we swapped out countertop and tile colors, and always explained why she made some of the suggestions she did. They scheduled us several months in advance but still started right on time, and finished before the expected end date. Mr. Donnie oversaw the workers and kept us up to date at every step. Even the painter - she matched the new paint in the bathroom to the existing paint in the bedroom. It was perfect. I can't describe the transformation, everything was just so much nicer than anything we expected. I'm SO GLAD we listened to everyone who helped us - we could not have created such an amazing final product on our own. I would have them back to do anything in our house. They were clean, did not leave even a drop of water or paint anywhere, and even came back to install a shower hook that we forgot to ask them to order. Mr. Donnie was very professional, answered lots of questions for us, and made sure we were happy with everything. Thank you Tremain!

The remodel went very well. We love it! Dawn was awesome at helping us design and choose options. Jim was very flexible in any changes or questions we had. Jose and Oscar are very hard workers. Jose knows his tile and really wants you to be happy with the finished product. Their pricing was competitive. Overall, what we liked is that they were flexible from start to finish on any changes or options we brought up and truly want to make sure you are happy with the finished product.

I requested a quote through Angie's List to remodel my master bathroom. I was contacted promptly enough and then offered an appointment only between Monday-Friday from 8-4. I explained that my husband and I both work and that we would need an evening or afternoon appointment (which every other contractor we have ever hired has not hesitated to provide). I was told that would not be possible. This happened weeks ago and I am still amazed enough at the lack of customer service to come back and write this review. Unbelievable!

The entire team at Tremain and their granite supplier, StoneSmith (which I'll also review separately), were great to work with and patient in answering questions and addressing concerns. They installed granite vanity tops along with new sinks, fixtures, towel bars, toilet paper holders, mirrors, and lights and painted both bathrooms. They went above and beyond to make sure they had completed the work in the time they had promised, which I really appreciated. Dawn, Autumn, Steve, Oscar, Kevin, Rob, Eduardo, Mike, Jimmy, and Chris from Tremain and Cody and Ben from StoneSmith, thank you so much for providing such a beautiful update to my bathrooms.

Excellent: Plumber, supervisor, and dry wall/caulking person made the job time efficient. After job was completed, there was no dust/dirt. In addition, you wouldn't know that the drywall has been removed and replaced. The new shower head and hand shower mechanism are a wonderful improvement. All in all, excellent!

Tremain did a fantastic job. This is a very large bathroom, and we designed a custom, high end job. They assisted with design and colors - Dawn was excellent. The salesperson Jim, took care in diligently providing a very detailed quote, which was helpful. The main construction person was Daniel, and he was as much an artist as he was a construction worker. He showed up every day at 8:00, not a minute late - and worked every day. The project took 8 weeks, which was two weeks longer than we hoped, but about what we expected. Had an issue with a mirror that came scratched, but Tremain noticed it before we did and replaced it. Very professional, very courteous, very well done indeed!

They do basically bathroom/kitchen remodeling. This is the second house we’ve had them work on. They are a little more expensive. I really think they do a great job, so I’ve gone back to them even though they are a little more expensive, just because the quality is good. It turned out pretty good. I’m very pleased.

We actually recently solicited a bid them on a kitchen remodel project. TWe actually recently solicited a bid them on a kitchen remodel project.They're a company that specializes in both kitchen and bathroom remodeling. You know, we've asked them to give us a comprehensive quote which would be basically all the materials. This would be cabinets countertops backsplashes and labor because we're going to demo part of the old kitchen and then you'll have some carpentry work. It did not include appliances.So, for the most part, it was is pretty much a gut job. I want to say that their quote in a round figure was around $25,000. I would say, so I think the individual that we met with was very knowledgeable and very experienced that was a positive. He seemed to be more kind of telling us what we need rather than listen to us as. The company that we ended up going with and terms of the kitchen design was really more into the listen mode.They would maybe ask a question and then really solicit conversation with us and then based on our conversations and then make a suggestion. about cabinets and what we had in mind. She would patiently show us the kitchen cabinets we go out shows a couple different models, talk about and laminated and non-laminated, and we talk about countertop.They'd show us the difference between granite and quartz and so on even to the point of our very first visit they're showing us the different types of hardware and sinks and everything. Tremaine as I said that this person I think his name was Jim was more kind of saying well, this is my experience this is what you ought to consider. Then, did very little on what I would call the show and tell. As an example, you know we wanted to talk about countertops and we probably didn't spend five minutes looking what they had he was kind of quick to hand us a brochure well, this is what we carry. But it really just didn't have the same I would call Personal Touch.It's almost like what will give you a quote and we've got plenty of time to select these materials afterward. The other's really kind of brought us and said not only are we going to work with you on the kitchen design but let's talk about some things that we carry that you might be interested in. We walked out thinking that if their numbers were acceptable on the cabinets and everything else that we pretty much picked out what we want or kitchen. I think it just was not as satisfying with Tremaine. I think I would grade Tremaine probably a C because their quote was high and I had heard actually you know, a competitor and two other people one was a contractor I think. They said Tremain has a reputation of being very pricey. I had one other contractor that was asking to do the work he said you know they tend to focus a lot on bathroom remodeling and not as much on kitchen remodeling. So anyway I felt it when we got their cost proposal it seemed High relative to another that we had received. We'd set up an appointment he arrived and this is actually at the house arrived on time. He took the measurements. He was timely in terms of providing the proposal after that. The competitor just seemed a bit more polished and customer-focused. I think one time in their shop it just like we're trying to get an idea of different shades and so on and they had like they're reorganizing your showroom. They had boxes of stuff and of around this one guy's office and so he's kind of searching through boxes to try to show us something whereas the other competitor has a very nice professional showroom.

Great! This is the third time I have used Tremain - love them! Designer is very helpful and Jose, tile installer, is beyond excellent. He is a craftsman! The only problem with any work were the glass installers. I had a patina mirrored backsplash installed and they covered one outlet. Overall, I would recommend this company to anyone. However, be sure to get Tremain Corp. as there is another Tremain.

Excellent! They did really well and we are very happy with the results. The technician who did the tile work and drywall was outstanding and very easy to work with. Not the cheapest option but definitely worth it!

Although Mr. Tremain was the first to look at my bathrooms, I didn't get an estimate from him until two weeks after I had received an estimate from both other companies. Also, after one of the other companies suggested a kind of cabinet that I liked better (65 inch, two doors and center drawers) than the two 30-inch cabinets with spacers that Mr. Tremain suggested, so I called and left a message asking whether he could do that kind of cabinet. I never heard from him. Still,if I were to re-do our third bathroom, I would call this company and give them another chance.

The entire process from quote to material selection to construction could not have gone better. We were able to see what material was available to us in the showroom, select the material based on suggestions from Tremain's designer, and know when construction would start based on communication from the project manager. The work done by Craig was excellent. He arrived promptly every day, put down drop cloths in the areas where he would be walking, and cleaned up every evening before he left. All of the necessary wood structures and tiling are first class. We would not hesitate to have work done by the Tremain team and highly recommend them.

We had Tremain come out to measure and install custom glass shower door. They did an excellent job. Came out, measured and completed the job with no issues and our shower door looks great!

Dawn is wonderful to work with in giving suggestions. Estimate redone to our agreement. On day of work men were efficient and did a quality job. Using them for our next bathroom (2 to go)

It was a large project, but it could not have gone better! The designer reviewed all the details of the proposal with me, answered all of my questions, and incorporated my changes to the plan quickly. Once the proposal was final, materials were promptly ordered, and arrived within the time frame I had been given. The gentleman who came and did the work was a gem - his work was careful and methodical, and he advised us daily as to the progress he had made and what his goals were for the next day - he was right on target as far as how long the job was going to take. His tile work was masterful - he took great care to make sure it looked just like I had envisioned, and asked for input along the way to make sure we were all clear on what was being done. Once his part of it was done, the glass doors were installed by a separate Tremain crew. They advised us in the beginning that the doors would take a few days after the tile work was done, and indeed the doors came in a few days earlier than expected. They were available to install the very next day. The entire project from beginning to end only took two weeks - which I felt was very reasonable given the transformation which had to take place. We are extremely pleased with the work that Tremain did in our bathroom. We would highly recommend this company to anyone contemplating a similar project.

We inherited a problem from previous owners who had had the bathroom rennovated, but the contractor did a very poor job with the shower stall. It began leaking a few months after we moved in because the floor of the shower stall was moving a little every time the shower was used. Although the price was somewhat high, Tremaine did a complete overhaul of the shower stall. I have complete confidence that the shower stall will be standing long after the rest of the house falls apart. They tore out all the old tiles and base, poured a cement base, tiled the base and walls, fitted glass sliding doors, and repaired the ceiling below that had been damaged by water leakage. They did a beautiful job and as of 3 months later no problems with any leaking. I would defintely go back to Tremaine again if I had another job that needed to be done.

They were awesome and courteous. They were also very clean and professional. I would definitely use Tremain again!
