The services went excellent. They were informative about what was going on with my grass, and advised on what I needed. To see them out there doing their job was wonderful.

We purchased a 4 treatment package for our 1 acre+ lawn at $200.00/treatment. Our lawn had not been treated by the previous owner and was full of dandelions, clover, violets, etc. when we moved in. What an amazing difference this has made. Even after the first treatment our lawn was nearly weed free, green and healthy. We are very happy with this company and love the fact that organic fertilizer is used.

We like them. Their product works and it's organic so it's safe for the yard. He always calls first because we have a fence and he's good at shutting the gate back up.

It went well. He did do what he said he was going to do.

They called before arriving and finished within twenty minutes.

I contsctd TLC through an Angie's list advertised special. They called me back promptly. ai knew that I needed more that the 3 yards of mulch offered in the add, so TLC came out and gave me a bid, offering similar pricing for the additional area. They sent a crew to complete the edging. They did a very nice job. A couple of days later, the mulch was delivered. They did a very nice job, carefully working around the plants and not just covering them over. All in all a very good job for less $ than I paid another company to do it last year. I plan to call TLC to do this again next spring.

Did go job of treating lawn, but I didn't really see any difference between others using normal fertilizer. Price for additional treatments was not cheaper.

I called them with weed problems and they were out to my home and took care of the problem within a few days. Great service!

On May 14, 2015, I came home from work and noticed that some of my morning glory seedlings that I'd planted in my backyard, next to the fence, were flopping over. I thought it was lack of water, so I watered them, but they did not pick back up. Then I noticed the same stem bending on several of my perennials - my echinacea (coneflower) which I've grown for the past decade. I also noticed the same symptom on the rows of vegetables inside my raised garden bed - lettuce, kale, radishes, etc. On Friday night, a day after I noticed the symptoms, I found a receipt for the work that they did in my mailbox. The invoice was dated 5/14. I've made arrangements for someone to come back to my house and show me exactly what was done. It's pretty clear to me that their technician was extremely careless when applying the weed killer. That has cost me most of my spring crop and several perennials. I can't really explain how upset I am about this, or how disappointed that they were so clueless that they would apply weed killer to a healthy coneflower plant that was obviously part of a flower bed. (and if they weren't sure about it, they should have left it alone.) It appears that they sprayed a lot of weeds that were growing through the gravel in my driveway. This was not something I'd addressed with them; I had only discussed them treating the lawn. It appears they also sprayed right along my fence and got the plants that were growing inside the fence too - good plants, not weeds. They returned my call this morning and apologized. While I appreciate the apology, it can't undo the damage done. I've spent the past 5 or 6 weeks working in my backyard on my garden, doing yard work etc. It's astounding to me that a company I hired to help me instead destroyed much of my hard work in a matter of minutes. Side note: I have a job that keeps me very busy, so I decided to request an estimate without meeting them. I did discuss my concerns about protecting my garden plants and flower beds from weed killer - but that was over the phone. I don't know if it would have made a difference, since the person giving the estimate is not always going to be the person doing the actual work, but in the future I will ALWAYS meet with the contractor in person. I also think it's a good idea to be there when the work is being done so you can supervise it. Update #1: I spoke with my neighbor today, with whom I share a driveway. She told me the technician parked in such a way that no one could get in or out of the driveway. When she pointed this out to him, he said, "Well, I guess I could move my truck." He was not friendly, nor did he apologize for blocking the driveway. She also said he used a hose to apply the herbicide!!!! It's no wonder there was so much collateral damage to my healthy plants. Update #2: (May 19, 2015) John Luken, Total Lawn Care's sales manager, came to my house this morning and we discussed the damage to my vegetables and perennials. He apologized and bought me a flat of plants to replace the damaged ones. I honestly appreciate the gesture. John said the person who applied the herbicide in my yard was just trying to be thorough, but got too close to the healthy plants. What still surprises me is that it did not occur to the technician to shield my garden from the herbicide. We both agreed it would have been a better idea for him to have used a smaller applicator - not the large hose he pulled from his truck and through one of my perennial beds - or to have skipped the backyard altogether. (Yes, I wish I'd suggested that in the first place.) Like I said...I do appreciate their willingness to compensate me for the loss of my plants (they're also not charging me for the application), but after this experience, I decided to stop using them because I just don't feel comfortable with what they did. When I spoke to Joe, the man who carried out the work, he did not seem to understand that it was a big deal to me to lose most of my spring vegetable crop that I'd been growing for two months. (It also hit my tomatoes, unfortunately, although they did buy me replacement plants.) He seemed more concerned about how he was going to get his hose into my backyard. I mentioned this to John, and said it needs to be more about what's right for the customer - not what's most convenient for the technician. He agreed.

They were extremely responsive and exceeded my expectations on how quickly they provided service.

Great job, they were there and gone before I knew it. I actually hired this company to do further lawn treatments.

Amazing! I bought the deal on Friday. I received an email about scheduling on Saturday stating they would come out to see how much mulch was needed. When I came home on Monday, it was done! Looks great and is do e exactly like I would have myself. I'm very pleased.

I have a yearly contract with them. They come 5 times a year so it cost me $60 for one visit. They leave the area clean. The lawn looks great.

Service was completed within a week of purchase. There were two employees who aerated the entire lawn. They let me know when they arrived and once they were completed. They were friendly and courteous!

We like their services, they do good work! They use organic materials.

I purchased the $45 DEAL for Organic Fertilizer and Treatment. TLC was quick to respond via Angie's and set an estimated date to perform the service in less then a weekaway. They did so just as promised. They gave us 25% off any additional feet ended up waiving the overage since it was minimal. We appreciate the prompt response and would use again!

The price I paid was for per treatment. I decided to go with him because of the ratings and reviews on Angie’s List. My house is a new construction and so the grass and everything is just getting going. I don’t think that my yard took to the organic approach that he used. I guess my experience and needs weren’t really met, but I don’t know if there was just a problem with my specific yard. 6.40 to 6.45. He was punctual and he came out whenever he said he was going to. I think his chemical base was not strong enough for my developing yard. I would use him again in the future if I needed to, but at a different house on a different lawn.

They charge $200 a year. I like the fact that they use all organic fertilizers and pesticides. The interaction with them has been fine so far, it has been great. The work has turned out excellent.

They came out at regular intervals and provided organic lawn treatment (mostly fertilizer, but also spot treatments of other problems). They came, sprayed, left a bill - and my yard looked greener and healthier afterwards. Of note, the price listed above is for one treatment - they do 5 through the year. If you pay in advance the rate is discounted to $114/application, which is what we intend to do this coming year.

No problems - company always calls ahead to let me know when they will be out. I mark the sprinklers for them, and have never had a problem with their service.

They did a good job including weed control. We are hoping to have them back this upcoming year.

Our lawn was in really bad shape because of weeds. They use organic treatment and our lawn looks great now.

TLC has been great! We were drawn to them because of their organic approach and were thrilled to see their prices are competitive with the other 3 companies I contacted. Aaron was very helpful answering questions about what we could do to improve our yard (we bought our house in July and the sellers left a highly weeded and patchy lawn). We will sign on with TLC for 2015!
