I'm very pleased. I left a message asking for a quote on Sunday, they came on Monday and gave a quote, some recommendations and information. I left another message asking them to go ahead and treat our lawn and they came the very next day. The price is good (especially with the Angie's List coupon for the first treatment), and our lawn is starting to look better already.

This is the first time I've used TLC. Left a message to get a quote and they called back the same day. They came out the very next day to evaluate my lawn and give a quote. I had a number of quotes and the price for TLC was on the high end. However, I ended up selecting them after a conversation with Terry. They seemed very knowledgeable and sounded like they could help rehabilitate my lawn. They performed the services on-time and the price reflected the quote. I will continue to use them this season and evaluate how well they perform.

They do what they say they are going to do. They provide good advice and always follow up.

I am thrilled with the service provided by TLC Total Lawn Care. They provide weed and crabgrass control including fertilization and treatment.

They have been willing to work with us when we had issues with our grass and stuff and they came out and worked with us if it cost extra and it didn't work, then we didn't have to pay any extra money. We have been using this company for the past 20 years and we will continue to use their services in the future.

I wasn't happy with the pricing. He tried to charge me a lot more than what the quote was. I would grade him a C.

The services were successfully performed.

We basically lost our front lawn in the drought last summer/fall. We used a different company in the spring to slit seed the front and none of the grass grew. Mark came up with a plan to kill off the lawn and then reseed. He explained everything thoroughly and performed the services well, coming back to check on the lawn on a regular basis. When we had an irrigation system put in after the reseed, he also came back and went over the areas affected by the irrigation system. Thanks to Mark, we now have a beautiful front lawn again. He has also aerated and reseeded the back lawn. Mark promptly returns phone calls and answers all our questions. We highly recommend this local company for lawn service.

This ad needs to be specific so the consumer's time is not wasted.

I called this company on Sunday 10/02/2011 to schedule an appointment to have my yard aerated. They called me back on Monday and quoted a price and told me they were not sure when they would be back in the area to do the job. I said OK just let me know when you know. I recieved an email from them saying please call and schedule my appointment. That is a bit less than good communication. I decided to seek another company to do the job. I called another company and scheduled the work. On Wednesday, 10/06/2011, I get a bill in my mailbox for the service from this company. They did not call when they were there or anytime before or after. I tried to communicate with them. I got the nastiest email that said: We received your most recent email. You asked for a time and we said we would do it when we were out that way, but could not give an exact date. You were agreeable to that. Sounds like you just want something for free. The job was not done by anyone else. Just pay your bill. Thanks TJ." WOW!!!! I would not talk to my worst enemy like that.....And why would I order and service and not know when it was going to be provided. The job was done evenly in the front yard and not evenly in the backyard. The pricing was the same as Tru-Green. I could have avoided the nasty attitude and less than professional behavior if I had used Tru Green.

I made several attempts to contact this company during regular business hours over several days. Each time I called, I got their voicemail. I wanted to speak with a live person so I did not leave a message. I would have welcomed the opportunity to speak with someone about their services, but there wasn't anyone readily available to speak with me. I selected another company that had a live person to answer the phones.

It was wonderful. Everything was great. Mark came out and gave me a lot of advice and options. He came back and put weed killer down. We are very satisfied. There's a huge improvement from what our lawn used to look like to what it looks like now.

A little difficulty getting a hold of someone initially, which they report is because of summer vacations by employees. Otherwise, very good attention to detail, very knowledgable, excellent results, particularly with weed killing.

Applied liquid weed control to entire yard. Weeds included dandelion and other common braodleaf weeds, including tree seedlings (crabapple tree, maple and oak). The application resulted in very effective treatment of most weeds which was more evident after watering the grass a couple of times since there were dry conditions during and since the application was performed. The service was performed on the day promised. I was completely satisfied and would use their service again. I do my own fertilizing but needed supplementary weed control due last year's drought.

They are very punctual and have kept us in good shape. We have been using them for the past couple years. They are very responsive to any questions we may have.

The service is personalized, they always call back when you leave messages and they use a "less is more" approach to chemicals. Have recommended them to several people, with equally good results.

Overall, the job went fine. I was satisfied. Whatever they put on the yard worked. They worked very quickly.

Our lawn looked absolutely terrible following last years' heat and drought and this years bad winter. I thought I was going to need to over-seed it, etc., and had a couple lawn services come out for advice. TLC gave me a quote for fertizing but no advice on other things that might be needed. I felt they jsut were selling their chemical treatment program vs. giving us advice on our lawn. Since the price was close to what I would pay to do it myself anyway, I went ahead and signed up for the treatments. I seeded some areas myself, and they noticed this during their two treatments, carefully avoiding spreading chemicals that would prevent germination of the seeded areas. So far after two treatments our lawn is looking about as good as I've ever seen it (and I am sure all the rain we've had has helped as well.) Perhaps I didn't need extensive treatments after all.

My husband dealt with them and he really liked them. He was happy with the guy that came out.

They have only done one treatment because of the rain, but the lawn was really green this spring. They have an annual plan and it is about $35 for that service. They came in, did the job and left and that was unobtrusive. They did a good job on the lawn and it has signs of coming back. It would probably be back to how it should normally look by the end of the year. I would tell others that I think they would probably do a good job. They have been responsive on the phone and for the lawn treatment so far.

We moved into our house in Fishers last year and the lawn was, well, not in the best shape. I did some research on Angie's List and decided to give TLC a shot. They started treating our lawn last year and we were so happy with the service we got, we bought a bundle for the whole year for 2011. Mark, who does the treatments on our lawn, said we wouldn't notice a huge difference last year since we started so late, but I noticed how much nicer our lawn looked coming out of winter. We are very happy and will continue to use them

I was a bit leery of contacting TLC as they were 15 miles away. They proved they service Carmel as Mike left an estimate the morning after I contacted them. Of the three companies I contacted they responded the fastest. Of the three bids, TLC was the highest, but only 2% above the average. The estimate folder left was most impressive with literature on the chemicals used.

We buy the yearly package. It is for 6 lawn care visits, 2 tree treatments and 2 pest visits a year. It is a bundled price and we pay $480. We've been using them for over 12 years. We have a long time relationship and this is our second house. They are very good. These are Purdue specialists. They are environmentalists in my book. They are conscientious and customer specific. They just don't do what a nationwide company would do. They tend to things with the lawn or trees one on one. They don't knock on the door and say we could do this and that; they just do it. They are wonderful. We have a high level of commitment with them. They are extremely professional and we recommend them to others. When people see our lawn they ask who is doing our lawn. Their work speaks for itself.
