Inspection on house that we were selling required a small amount of mold to be removed in the crawl space. I worked with Jim from The Mold Removers and he was very helpful. I felt that he was honest and did not take advantage of us by trying to sell us more than we needed. I would recommend their services. Work was done right away.

They were reasonable and responsible.

Arrived at the site on time and went right to work. Told me what he was going to do and what I should expect. Very professional.

My husband and I purchased a new home and sold our home within 1 week. We have closings 2 days apart, a weekend in-law visit, a weekend sister visit and a granddaughter birthday party all planed in the month we are trying to pack. Needless to say, I am a little stressed. When the buyers' inspector noted "roof damage" and "traces of an organic substance found in the basement crawl space," I was at a loss. We clean our filters monthly, have the house professionally cleaned weekly, just had the ducts cleaned and have never had a drop of liquid in our basement. So on top of having to replace the roof, we had to figure out who to call to take care of the potential mold issue. Fortunately, my realtor suggested three very reputable companies to call. The first company I called was very prompt, came to the house the very next day and then quoted me some astronomical price. I decided to check the other companies. I could not have been more pleased when I talked to Jim Marshall at The Mold Removers. What a great guy! I was very impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, his promptness in getting Buddy Crider, MRC, our to home and then follow up with a great service plan that we could afford. We really liked Buddy too. He was on time, explained the issues on a level we could understand, and made us feel comfortable that the job would be done well. I would highly recommend The Mold Removers!

My husband and I were selling our house and found out we had mold in our attic after the buyer's inspection. Needless to say we were shocked, had lots of questions, and needed to get someone out quickly for an estimate as we only had limited time to respond to the buyer's inspection response. I called 3 companies for estimates based on Angie's List reviews, 1 of which was highly recommended by my realtor, The Mold Removers. So far, all of the contractors my realtor has recommended have been exceptional. Jim at The Mold Removers was no exception and was even the only one I got on the phone right away. I explained our situation and despite being incredibly busy, he was able to get his inspector, Buddy, out the next morning. Jim explained that he gets calls like these several times per day and made me feel better and less stressed about the situation. Buddy was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and personable. He explained there was only very light growth of mold and that it could be remediated fairly inexpensively and quickly. He, and later Jim, took time to answer many of my questions about why this occurred, if it would happen again, etc. I was also made aware that the buyers called Jim on a couple of occasions and spoke with him for quite some time on the phone and the buyer's realtor was very impressed with him and would like to use him in the future as well. I felt Jim and Buddy to be extremely honest and they were by far the least expensive company. Our buyers wanted a whole house inspection with air quality testing done on each level. Jim explained that because it was in the attic and no where else in the house, I wouldn't need air quality testing, which saved us money. It was a no-brainer picking them. My realtor said they had gone out to many other jobs and told clients how they didn't need their services, or told the clients how they could take care of things themselves, wasting their time and money just to be honest and help the client. They were able to schedule the remediation a week later as my job didn't take too long. The workers, including Buddy again, were extremely pleasant and professional during the job. I would not hesitate to highly recommend them!

We called and they came promptly to give us a quote. They explained the entire process and that we would need to be out of the house for the day, due to the smell after treament. They came promptly for the scheduled appointment. Were effiicient and tidy. We were out of the house from 9 am to 8 pm. There was a faint odor but nothging bothersome and was gone by morning. The fee was reasonable and their follow up to be sure we were satisfied was exemplary. Buddy and Tom were a pleaure to work with.

We had several issues getting estimates for this job and if we actually did get a quotation it seldom included the services we requested. However, after speaking with The Mold Removers and explaining our situation they had an estimator at our home the following day and put us on the schedule for the following week with absolutely no issues at all. I am a Realtor and got this referral from another Realtor, I will be recommending The Mold Removers to anyone in need of similar work.

There was an issue with the smell of the chlorine because I had to leave the house for the evening. The company did apologize, however, that it didn't give advance notice of this. Everything else went well with the service.

I was very pleased and they were wonderful to deal with. They were very fair and honest with their information and advice. They let me know I could take care of the small issue ourselves and told us how to take care of this. To spend his time and gas, it was great and highly appreciated that he did not charge me for his visit. I would call him again if I needed help since he provided great info and was competent about his work.

Everything seemed to go well. We had to leave the house overnight for safety because of the chemicals. I did not compare prices, but they seemed fine. I am assuming they did the work correctly, although I have of course not down down there myself. They arrived on time and were very polite. The employees who went under the house wore protective clothing, which left an impression of professionalism.

After reading other reviews. I called and got a similar experience. Where another company quoted me a minimum of $1275 to remove mold that was no bigger than the size of a cell phone, Tom said I didn't need him and I could do it myself since it was such a small area. He told me what I needed to do to get rid of it and we'll save our $1275. Very upfront and honest guy.

They found that we did not need their services after all. They were very professional and not just out to make a buck and screw the consumer. They were on time, straightforward and thorough.

I gave this company a call and the man that I talked to was very nice. He told me to send him a picture of the mold and I tried but there was no superficial mold for me to photograph so I sent him back what I could get and never really heard back, which was no big deal because we put the project on hold for a bit. I will be calling them again to have them come out and I really appreciated that the man I talked to was reassuring and comforted me and was helpful.

Excellent! He took the time to look everything over and used humor to do so. When he was finished he would not charge me anything. He was at the house 15-20 minutes. I will definitely use him or recommend him to others that may have a mold problem.

We did not get past the telephone interview, but I was very impressed with his knowledge and ethics. We had a recent flood from a plumbing leak while we were out of town. We hired a water evacuation company and had the house completely dry within three days, using four large dehumidifier and forced dry air into the walls. Even though the basement is unfinished, and can be seen, and the dry wall and flooring measured low/safe moisture levels, two flooring companies recommended removing not only the hardwood, but also the subflooring, and then spraying with anti-microbials. Tom recommended that this would probably not be necessary and to get another opinion. I will probably hire him to do a mold test any way in the near future.

They were very responsive. They came out within a couple of days. They told me what I needed to do to fix the problem and didn't charge me for the advice.

TOM WAS QUICK TO RESPOND TO MY CALL. HE ASKED APPROPRIATE QUESTIONS & TOLD ME THAT WE COULD HANDLE THE PROBLEM BY OURSELVES SINCE TOXIC MOLD WOULD NOT BE AN ISSUE IN OUR SITUATION. HE WOULD HAVE BEEN HAPPY TO DO THE WORK, BUT IT WOULD COST A LOT MORE MONEY. HE GAVE US GOOD, FREE ADVICE. I APPRECIATE THAT HE ENCOURAGED US TO DO THE WORK OURSELVES & SAVE THE EXPENSE.

DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
