Ralph did an excellent job. He was very responsive with our appointments - always on time and gave us a very accurate and fair quote. We had 3 other quotes to compare it to. He removed all the landscape lighting in our front and back of the home and completely installed new lighting system. He worked with us and made adjustments after we saw the lights after the install. We loved the lights he suggested we use and he did an excellent job in the layout and install.

Excellent! He's actually been out to our home multiple times over the past few years. Unfortunately we have light fixtures near our driveway that have gotten run over and needed replaced more than once.

Our landscape lighting from Indiana Outdoor Lighting was designed by the owner, Ralph. He was very good about answering questions and providing information when we were planning the lighting. The installation was done on schedule by Ralph and one helper. They did a neat job -- other than the new lights we could hardly tell anyone had been working around the house for two days. He was good about coming back a couple times to fine-tune things a bit after we saw the lights. We were very pleased with the project.

Ralph came out to give us a free estimate and was willing to work with us on our wants and needs. His lighting products are very nice. He uses CAST LED fixtures which look great in the ground as well as creating a beautiful effect on our house. We scheduled the service and he was done in about four hours. Ralph installed personally with another assistant and cleaned up the yard after he was done. We are very excited to have our home looking lovely at night! We would use Indiana Outdoor Lighting again!

It went very well. We also had an outdoor water fountain wired in. He offered a simple approach, came when he said he would, and followed up with our concerns after the fact.

Very well. The light is working as it should. Ralph found the problem and fixed it at what I thought was a reasonable price given the parts and labor involved. Ralph is very easy to work with and very friendly and professional. I would use Ralph again if I have a problem with the landscape lighting in the future.

Indiana Outdoor Lighting was fantastic from the initial phone call, to estimate, to installation. Everything was done as promised, on time and on budget. The lighting looks fantastic and really highlights our house. Ralph uses fixtures and lamps that aren't harsh and blend in well with the landscape and mulch. Ralph was very honest and didn't try to oversell us on fixtures, as we had discovered with many of the other companies out there. This is his specialty, so he's truly the expert in this space. We had other companies quote this, but didn't feel they really knew what they were doing.

We met with 3 highly rated Angie's list outdoor lighting specialists to discuss our plans, get some design input, and get a quote. All 3 were great but overall based on our design consultation with Ralph we felt that IOL was most in sync with the look we were going for. They also turned out to be the lowest bid, perhaps in part due to an Angie's List package special that they were offering. For those reasons and because of all the positive feedback on Angie's List, going with IOL was a no brainer. Upon making an agreement to have OIL do our job, we got into IOL's installation schedule within a matter of a couple weeks. They completed the job on the date they said they would avoiding any annoying reshedules. While we found that our dog fence wiring got accidentally cut during the install, they came back out promptly and found and fixed the wiring. No harm, no foul! We are really thrilled with how our house looks at light! We went from having one of the darkest houses on the block at night to now having one of the warmest and most welcoming. We would absolutely recommend IOL for both the quality of their design input, their craftsmanship, and their professionalism.

Perfect. Ralph was able to fix the light. He was on time and very friendly and trustworthy. Did the job I wanted and for what I thought was a reasonable price for what it took to fix it and the time he spent. I will definitely use him again if I have any more trouble with my landscape lighting.

It was decided that what I needed wasn't what the Provider could do. I was given an estimate on 2/27/2014 but it wasn't all that I wanted. I really needed an electrician. If I needed landscaping lighting, they would be the company to hire but that is not what I wanted. I really appreciated that they refunded my purchase price. They didn't have to do that. If landscaping lighting is what is needed, I would recommend this company.

Ralph installed our landscape lighting when we moved into our home two years ago. We recently had the house painted and the wiring or connections for the landscape lighting was disrupted, so the lights did not come on. We could not figure out the problem. Ralph stopped by, fixed the problem, and said it was a simple fix so there was no charge! We have turned to Ralph for our outdoor lighting needs in the past and will continue to do so due to his kindness, expertise, and refusal to nickel and dime us.

Indiana outdoor lighting upgraded our outdoor lighting several years ago after shoddy installation from another contractor. They did an excellent job on what we asked them to do. Ralph was extremely knowledgable and professional. The quality of their work was outstanding. We would definately use them again and would highly recommend them to others.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for outdoor lighting service. Ralph came out and repaired some damage landscapers had done to the system and checked and serviced the whole system. Ralph put in these lights several years ago and he has always been great to work with.

That was easy! Ralph came out when he said he would and fixed the issue in about 20 minutes and without additional cost. I will never hassle with the frustration of trying to fix landscape lighting myself again!

Fine experience. They just didn't provide the exact service that I needed.

It has essentially a single individual who owns it. He is responsible for everything that is done. When I called him, he promptly came in and gave me an estimate. He is also very easy to get a hold of. You can leave a message on his phone if he cannot speak at the moment. But 80% of the time, he comes on the line. He did a very competent job at a very reasonable price. I will use him again if I have outdoor lighting issues.

It was a pleasure to work with Ralph. I had an idea of what I wanted and Ralph worked with me to fully spec out what would be needed to achieve the look I had in mind. He also helped with doing lighting in our back yard and on our deck stairs. He showed me several options for pathway lighting and stair lights. He fully explained the underground wiring, the bulb choices and timer features. The following day he came by to set up some demonstration lights around the house so that we could see approximately how his lighting suggestions would look. This was a huge factor in helping us decide exactly how to do the lighting on the front of the house. Once we decided to go ahead, Ralph was very prompt in returning to do the work. Everything was done to our complete satisfaction. All wiring is underground, the timers are all calibrated and set up as we directed and the entire job was done in one day. This was a great experience and I can highly recommend this company for the way they work with the customer, deliver a quality job and follow up to be sure the customer is 100% satisfied.

Oh my---who knew adding lights to the outside of our home would make such a difference! Indiana Outdoor Lighting is the place to go if you want to light up your home. We contacted them on March 27, and the lighting was installed on April 2. Ralph and Dustin were prompt, professional, and installed the lights in a timely manner. In a matter of three hours, the lights were in place and ready for use. We are really happy with the results and will definitely recommend Indiana Outdoor Lighting to anyone who is looking for the type of service they provide.

Great experience across the board. Gave estimate for several different options. Arrived on time day of installation and lights look great! Ralph was very easy to work with and communicated easily via email and phone. No complaints whatsoever. Ralph was even kind enough to take some old outdoor wall lamps we had replaced and take them to the scrap yard so that they didn't end up in garbage.

Mr. Redmond was very easy to work with. I thought I may have to replace all of my lights because some were faulty and others were hidden by shrubs that had gotten so big over the years. I also wanted to change to LED lights, and I wasn't sure my existing fixtures would work with LED bulbs. Mr. Redmond suggested we try to repair all existing fixtures and move others to perform better since our landscape had changed since our initial lights had been put in. He quickly provided a fair estimate. He came out a week later to install our new fixtures and to move and repair all that he could. He did great work, and our final payment came in lower than our quote because he was able to restore more than he initially thought. I really appreciated his professional demeanor and honesty.

From the very beginning, Ralph and his team were very helpful and responsive. They quickly diagnosed several issues, offered up alternative solutions and completed all of their work efficiently and at a very reasonable price. Ralph was very punctual on both the day he provided the estimate and on the day of installation. The lights were installed where he said they would be. All of the lights were installed along the front of our house in the landscaping beds. Their work was very professional and you could not tell that the much had been disturbed. Landscaping lights were something we had wanted to do for a long time. It wasn't until we spoke with Ralph that we felt that we were getting a great value for the right price.

I purchased a discounted coupon from Angie's List. The ad I responded to stated that if you purchased by that date (10/25/13) then I would have an appointment by Tuesday (10/29/13). Later that evening I received a written confirmation and then asked for my top three appointment preferences. I was given a Tuesday (10/30) morning appointment. The owner Ralph asked for my phone number and set a time (on the same morning). Since this was a rapid response for the appointment I was ok with that. The technician Dustin took his time and found four bad splices that had been done previous to our purchasing this property six years ago. The total time from beginning to end was around an hour. Dustin did a great job and cleaned up and replaced dirt from digging to find initial problems.
