The best part was the fast service. There was no worst part. I was satisfied with the price. The service was fast and quick. I referred him to a friend of mine. I haven't had any problems. He was very responsive. He was very punctual. He was here when I got here.

Since the original ceiling fan was not mounted correctly, Rock provided all of the materials needed to ensure the fan could be safely secured. This involved moving the fan to a different location in the ceiling for the proper mounting. Rock then filled in and mudded the original location in the ceiling to finish the job. He also replaced a regular outdoor security light with a motion sensor light. Both the ceiling fan and the lights have been working well for over a year now. Rock was very prompt, professional and did good work. I have used him in the past for electrical services and I will be sure to use him for future electrical needs.

Your handyman showed ontime. Did the job quickly and it was up to code.

The old the electrical box was removed and a new electrical box was installed.

That was a trap. I wouldn't have this guy again over here and some of it is just my thinking, I had to pay some additional but this guy couldn't find the problem, when i came right down , when I said no, we wouldn't going to do something or rather, but certainly he had another idea then he got it done in no time flat. I just figured, I don't know, I just got a bad feeling about the whole thing but when he got done, the problem was taken care of. It took him whole two hours, I think he went to lunch even, he left and he didn't come back and that's why he had a certain inspiration about what it might be. Unfortunately my husband wasn't here probably he could have talked to him and figured out what was going on. The price for the big deal was great. I wouldn't have them again and was an easy about the actual result or the worker or technician. I think that his punctuality and responsiveness were okay.

Mr. Sharief was prompt with communication and on time to do the work. He was professional and completed the work satisfactorily. I will use him again when an electrician is needed.

I did not have to wait very long for an appointment for them to do the job. They came on time and seemed very professional. He was very friendly and helpful. They did the work and cleaned up after the job. After a few weeks one of the new ceiling fans quit working. I called him back and he came soon to see what the problem was. The fan had a part in it that had gone bad. (It was something to do with remote control.) He recommended the kind of fan I should get to replace that one. Then he came back again to switch out the fans. He gave me a break on price, having had to come back. I would highly recommend this company and would call them again.

The experience seemed rushed and I checked with a few other people and all quotes were cheaper then the guy I used but I had already purchased the coupon. He even forgot that I had the coupon and gave us a hard time that we did not tell him before hand that we had a coupon and we disclosed that first thing. I would not say it was the worst experience that I have ever had, but it seemed very clunky and the use of the coupon was not a good experience.

I bought a $79 big deal for this service and it worked out fine. He was prompt and the employees were just fine while they were at my home.

Very pleased with work done, outlet is exactly what we desired and of good quality...we would use him again for any electrical needs.

They worked around my schedule to best find a time that worked for me. They were on time, quick, friendly and professional. They did a great job and also provided a quote on a future project that was well under any other estimates. I will be using them again and would recommend them.

To be fair, by the time he left both fixtures were working. I had a light over my kitchen sink that seemed to be always blinking as if it had a short. It was found the problem was likely at the switch where the wires were not fully connected. That worked, but soon after he left it started blinking again. I should have called him back but then I figured the problem was much deeper and there wouldn't be time left to check it with that one visit. In the other case a light switch was replaced but with a plug and switch configuration that no longer fit the hand crafted switch plate I bought for the small bathroom....which the service provider remarked was really expensive. I found myself defending "I plastered and painted myself, so I sprung for a very cool plate cover." Which is now sitting on a shelf somewhere. It was replaced with a standard white one and I just hate it. I would have to call another electrician to redo both things. He was nice, certainly thought he'd done a good job and I liked him. Yet, here I am.

The Tradesman and I agreed to wait until the weather warmed up to install this outlet. After four appointment reschedules the weather finally warmed up enough to perform the work. They were friendly, gave me the outlet on a separate circuit, upon my request, cleaned up and were done in less then one hour. Job well done.

They did a good job and pointed out what needs to be done in the future.

He did a great job; I just needed more work to be performed.

The tech arrived on time and was nice.

We needed to change some wiring in the garage and he was professional and helpful in the information he gave. We filled the remainder of our time with installation of an outlet in the basement. He was reliable, helpful, and professional.

I had him replace an existing ceiling fan (pull chain style) with a remote control fan. He did a good job, and it took him the entire 2 hours to do the job. We dealt with Rock (I think that was his name)? The globe did break during installation, but once I got a replacement from the manufacturer, he came back promptly and replaced it.

Made an appointment for 3 weeks out, on the day of the appointment he called 30 minutes before his scheduled arrival time to advise that he would not be able to make it. We set the appointment for the following day at 8:00 am, he arrived at 8:30. He completed the job at 10:45am(with several breaks). When he finished he came in with an invoice for an additional $54 on top of the Deal I purchased. I asked what the invoice was for and he said for an additonal half hour of work that was performed, I was taken back by this as he had taken several breaks during the time, was 30 minutes late and cancelled the original appointment. I advised him that I was not going to pay the addtional $54 and he stormed out of my house without leaving any paperwork for the work performed or a receipt. I found this highly unprofessional and will never use his services again.

Don?t fall for the coupon. He really doesn?t know what he is doing.

We had used Tarheel once before and hired them again for this job. Rock is very nice, professional and you can tell he takes the time to do the job right. Would definitely use them again.

Today was our fourth rescheduled date for service. He had to cancel on me this time due to another customer having an emergency situation. I told him that I was not interested in scheduling for a fifth time because he wasn't available again until December 3rd and I was trying to get this done prior to Thanksgiving. I have contacted Angie's List in order to get a refund of the Big Deal purchase. I would not recommend this company.

About 2.5 weeks ago I scheduled for today, but they called and said something came up, and they couldn’t come until December 9. That’s a month of delay and that won't work for me, so I'm finding someone else.
