TAG Exteriors

I asked for bids from 3 Angi recommended contractors. Of the 3 only TAG was bit aggressive and pushy. I did not hire them. When I informed Tyler that I was going to choose a different contractor, his response was that they didn’t need my job (I have the text messages). This simply confirmed that I made a wise decision. Having a major project done to your home is stressful enough without having to deal with a general contractor with an attitude. The contract they offered also made me a little uncomfortable too. Overall, just less than a positive experience.

I had posts on my front porch that were covered with faux rock and never finished out so I called this business to discuss options. I wanted the faux rock removed and the posts back to original and painted. The owner was very clear with the language in the contract. The workers were punctual and respectful of my property. They were here for a couple of days and finished the job. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome!! The porch posts look amazing! I’ve already started talking to the owner about other possible jobs. I would not hesitate to refer them for a job.

Called them in July 2023 about gutters. Tyler came out, nice young man, not much we could do with the existing and I chose not to replace them at that time. I did plan to use them in the future. Called in November 2023 about an estimate to repair a roof leak. They sent Santiago out to look at the roof leak I had. He identified the leak and I called a couple times looking for the estimate and did receive it in six days. Two weeks later I signed the contract I had received from them via Tyler and sent it back via e-mail. I received a call shortly afterwards from Tyler, he was aggressive and seemed angry, almost accusing me of doing something, not sure what. He told me he couldn't honor a quote from July, I pointed out it was dated November 8, 2023. He was confused. Said they had a $1000 minimum and the quote for the work was $500., which I honestly thought was high based on the work to be done. Repairing a few shingles where there was a leak, but I needed the work done. I asked him if he was going to honor the quote they sent me? He did not answer me and said he would call me right back. He did, still aggressive, said his father had waived the $1000 and he would talk to Santiago to schedule the job. I never heard from him. Not sure why he was angry or aggressive with me, this was an internal lack of communication on their part. I can only assume one of two things, they didn't want to do it after quoting it and ignored me, or I fell through the cracks. Either way, this is not good.

The job went very well. Tag Exteriors was quick to respond and kept us informed as the job was assessed, planned, quoted, and completed. Everyone involved had long standing experience for their part of the job. They were professional, considerate of our property, and thoroughly cleaned up at completion of the work. We would confidently recommend Tag Exteriors.

The team at TAG was able to diagnose my roof leak and make the repairs within a couple of weeks after receiving my estimate. Jason was responsive to my questions and kept me updated on scheduling. Santiago is a pro and it's obvious he takes pride in his work. I appreciated the photos he took as he progressed on the project so I could stay informed. I would use the TAG team again for roof issues.

The job was quoted at $1000 to do 2 hours of work. It was highly overpriced, but the worked appeared to be quality work. I had a competing quote for the work that I received after accepting this that was $525--much more reasonable. Since I committed to having them do the work, I went ahead with them. Never again. Live and learn. I need other caulking and flashing work that I will go to a competing firm. I cannot recommend this company and will be grateful when all my ties with them are severed. I don't like Dwayne Everroad; he's not the kind of person I desire to have a relationship with.

He told me it would be at least $700 for the repairs. He was cocky and unprofessional and talked to me like I was stupid. I would never call him again.

It went very well. They were very knowledgeable. They were very responsive and friendly. Very high opinion of them.

Very precise. They found out that it's not the roof leaking and they spent all day to find the problem. When they found it, they fixed it and they did not charged me on anything. I'm so blessed to had them and they did a wonderful job.

Very responsive and kind at first. Very eager to assist. They were immediately clear that they are interested in going after insurance company even if it means beyond what actual policy provides. Once I told them I was not interested in pushing the insurance beyond my policy, they never returned my call. Very disappointing. Just a salesman. And interesting there aren’t any recent reviews of this company on Angie’s List. I don’t see any reviews since 2015. Sad to be treated like this. Could have at least called to say they are no longer interested.

Everything about this job was first class from start to finish. The work was done in a timely fashion and the roof looks terrific. Even the clean up afterwards was amazingly good. I would give this company the highest rating possible.

We consulted Tag Exteriors about possible wind damage to our roof. They responded quickly and professionally to our request to evaluate the integrity of our shingles. Jeremiah (my initial contact person) was very friendly, and answered all of our questions and concerns. Jason (the owner) also contacted us several times to keep us informed on how the project was progressing. Through out the whole process they were very informative and detail oriented. They left their work area clean and were respectful of our property. The finished product exceeded our expectations. I would/ will definitely use and recommend Tag Exteriors in the future, if the need arises.

From start to finish the whole project was less than 2 months. They came in, measured the windows, showed me all the options. i had decided to only replace half of the windows as it was not in the budget to get them all replaced. It took approximately 4 weeks from the day I ordered them for them to arrive. The gentleman that came to install them was very good. It took him about 7 hours to get them all installed and when he left, i couldn't tell he had even been there. All my old windows were hauled away and no debris were left behind.
