Overall, we are pleased with the work performed. It took several attempts to contact and get a call back from T & R. Once the project was scheduled, it was done quickly, on time and professionally. We thought the price was high but did not have good reference points to price compare. We had trouble getting bids on a relatively small job.

They were very professional and they knew what they were doing. We had other estimates and could tell this was a very experienced company. The boss came out and he was very impressive.

My call to the front office was courtious and helpful. I immediately had an estimate scheduled for two days after my initial phone call. The estimator came on-time, he was knowledgable and professional. The estimator shared pictures of previous work and upon leaving my house, I was very excited about T&K contractors possibly doing work on my house. However, to my dismay, I never recieved an estimate. I did recieve estimates from three other companies so I did not push the issue when I probably should have followed up with the company.

Turned out very good for us. It has held up close to a year now. They have came back to check the services since.

Part of the job they did was okay. We were not happy with the color and there was a problem with a step up to the patio work and they had to come back and work on it. They eventually fixed it.

We found them on Angie's List and it has been very satisfactory. They worked the ramp in beautifully. Everyone comments on how nice it looks but they say we could have gotten it done for around $12,000, but we were happy with it. They gave us an estmate and came back within 4 or 5 days to start the work. We put half the money down and then paid the rest upon completion. They came back 2 weeks later to check on the work, they put some grass seed down and so forth.

They were timely in responding and in providing a quote. We didn't go with them because the bid was not competitive.

After reading many reviews on Angie's List, calls were placed in spring 2008 to several contractors including T&R. The estimator, Mr. Robert Salazar, responded quickly to review the job in question. He was both responsive and very friendly and took the time to answer many questions. The estimate was quite reasonable compared to the others received and the job was scheduled. During what turned out to be a few weather delays, he did a great job communicating with me about the schedule, responding promptly to every inquiry. When the time arrived to start the work, the crew was professional, courteous, and worked with purpose. In the end, the job site was clean, the workmanship was strong and the curves of the new side walk were exactly where I laid them out. The final product turned out great and I would not hesitate to employ T & R Contractors, Inc. again should another job call for their services.

My husband had contacted several contractors previously and had been unable to get a single one to come view the job, or if they did, to follow up with an estimate. I finally suggested we try Angie's List since it had worked so well for my kitchen work. We printed off a list and my husband called quite a few contractors on the list, but only two came and gave us an estimate. T & R Contracting had the better price, so we went with them. They did everything they said they would and more. They arrived on-time, did excellent work, cleaned up the area when they were finished, and were courteous and a pleasure to work with. This was an excellent company!

Went well. Robert came out and gave us a quote. We accepted and his guys came out soon thereafter and did the work. We were unhappy about the edge of the sidewalk where it met the existing driveway, and called Robert. He mentioned the edge before I had a chance to, and told us he didn't like the way it had come out and he would come by and take care of it, and he did. Would hire again. Recommend them for concrete work and will hire them for additional work if needed.

Robert was very prompt in coming the the house and giving me an estimate. We settled on a day to begin the project and Robert showed as promised. Robert's workmanship is excellent. Robert and his crew cleaned up the yard area around the project and made sure I was satisfied. Robert's work exceeded my expectations. I know that I'll use T & R Contracting again on other projects. No one from this company ever returned my phone call.

Although they arrived in the afternoon instead of the morning on Friday, I was able to get an update from the office staff of their expected arrival. They made quick work of tearing out the old concrete on Friday. They arrived very early on Saturday, before I was even up, and had everything ready to go when the cement showed up. I've had several neighbors comment on how nice the walk and steps look. I am pleased with the work that was done. Robert was very professional and easy to work with. It rained very hard the next day, and my basement stayed so much drier than before the new concrete was poured.

ROBERT IS THE OWNER AND IS EXCELLENT TO WORK WITH. HE IS VERY PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL, ON TIME, AND LISTENS TO IDEAS YOU HAVE AND ALSO GIVES YOU HIS WONDERFUL IDEAS. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE. WE PLAN ON HAVING HIM BURY THE DOWNSPOUTS. THIS IS A GREAT COMPANY TO WORK WITH.

ROBERT IS EXCELLENT, THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL, POLITE, AND ON TIME. THEY HAD THE WHOLE JOB DONE IN ONE DAY, EVEN WHEN HE TOLD ME THAT IT WOULD TAKE TWO DAYS. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.

T & R DID CONCRETE WORK FOR US. THEY WERE VERY COMPETITIVE IN PRICE AND THEIR WORKMANSHIP WAS HIGH QUALITY. WE USED COLORED CONCRETE FOR THE FRONT PORCH AND FOR SOME REASON THE COLOR WAS INCONSISTENT. ROBERT CAME AND EVALUATED THE SITUATION AND AGREED IT WASN'T RIGHT AND HAD IT TORN IT OUT AND RE-POURED. IT TURNED OUT VERY WELL AND WE ARE VERY PLEASED. THE SIDEWALK AND DRIVEWAY APRON WERE ALSO DONE VERY WELL AND WE ARE ALSO PLEASED WITH THEM.

ROBERT MET US AT OUR HOME AND MADE SEVERAL SUGGESTIONS WHEN ASKED FOR ADVICE. HE WAS POLITE AND OFFERED OPTIONS AT DIFFERENT COSTS. WHEN WE DECIDED ON HIS COMPANY, HE FAXED CONTRACT. HIS WORKERS WERE ON TIME, PLEASANT AND VERY HARD WORKING. THE OLD PATIO CONCRETE WAS MUCH DEEPER THAN HE THOUGHT AND REQUIRED MUCH MANPOWER TO REMOVE. WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH THE RESULT. WE HAD TO CALL THEM BACK ONCE FOR A MINOR GLAZE TO THE SIDES OF THE PATIO, AND THERE WAS NO PROBLEM. IT WAS DONE QUICKLY.

MR. SALAZAR WAS A NICE PERSON AT FIRST AND HE COMPROMISED HIS PAYMENT SCHEDULE TO MEET MY NEEDS. HOWEVER THE QUALITY OF THE WORK WAS POOR. A LOT OF MORTAR HAS DRIPPED AND HARDENED ON THE BRICK FOUNDATION WALL, PATCH COLOR DOES NOT MATCH, HAS NOT SEALED IT, ETC. CONCRETE IS CRACKING IN SOME PLACES. FRAME IS STILL UP FROM WHERE HE PATCHED ONE PLACE. THE WEATHER SHOULD BE AT LEAST 55 DEGREES FOR HIM TO CURE OR SEAL THE CONCRETE. HE HAS TO WAIT UNTIL SPRING NOW. I KEPT $500 OF HIS LAST PAYMENT UNTIL THE WALK IS DONE OR RESCHEDULED.

AGGREGATE CONCRETE DIDN'T MATCH AND HE GAVE SOME ATTENTION TO MAKING SURE IT DIDN'T CRACK AGAIN. THEY GOT CONCRETE ON MY DRIVEWAY AND INTO MY LANDSCAPE ROCKS.

GOOD WORKERS. A LITTLE PRICEY, BUT WORTH IT. HE WORKED WITHIN MY TIME FRAME TO COMPLETE BOTH JOBS.

MR. SALAZAR ARRIVED AT MY HOUSE WITHIN 60 MINUTES OF ME CONTACTING HIS COMPANY FOR AN ESTIMATE. HE HANDLED OUR PROJECT FROM START TO FINISH AND IT WAS SIMPLE. MY WIFE AND I WEREN'T EVEN AT THE HOME WHEN THE WORK WAS IN PROGESS. WE LEFT ONE DAY AND WHEN WE RETURNED, WE HAD BEAUTIFUL PATIOS AND WALKWAYS.

THE OWNER CAME OUT TO GIVE AN ESTIMATE ON REPLACING A PATIO. HE SAID HE WOULD CALL ME THE NEXT DAY WITH THE ESTIMATE. HE NEVER CALLED.

NEVER RETURNED MESSAGE I LEFT FOR THEM ABOUT OBTAINING AN ESTIMATE. I CALLED THEM A SECOND TIME AND LEFT A MESSAGE AND NEVER HEARD BACK. THE FIRST TIME WAS A VOICEMAIL THAT WAS NEVER RETURNED, AND THIS TIME AN INDIVIDUAL ACTUALLY TOOK A MESSAGE AND ASSURED ME I WOULD HEAR BACK FROM SOMEONE. I NEVER DID.

THE DAY I CALLED, THEY CAME OUT AND GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE. DUE TO THE WEATHER, THEY WERE DELAYED BY A DAY OR TWO BUT THAT WAS NOT A BIG DEAL. THEY DID THE WORK WITHIN A WEEK OF CONTACTING THEM. THEY CAME BACK TO CLEAN UP. EXCELLENT JOB. I WILL CERTAINLY USE THEM IN THE FUTURE.
