drain cleaning
+ -1 moreSean gave me a one-hour advanced notice call and was right on time. Their job is as dirty as it gets and these guys were remarkably clean, as was their gear. They did their job, fixed the problem, and answered questions as they went along. Sean Sr. is a little better at explaining things and goes a good way to educate homeowners on how to avoid or self-fix certain issues. But his son did a nice job, was friendly, on time, and priced beneath market rate for this area (I called two others just to check). This is my third time using these guys! Their job is as about as dirty as one could get. I was surprised to discover that their gear (and the two guys) were remarkably clean for mid-day. For your information, the company has changed hands and is now part of Gordon Plumbing (?). I asked for Sean and got him on the phone is 10 seconds.
Description of Work: After a big rain, my rental at 50th and Keystone had an issue with water in basement (just like most who live in that area). The drain from the house has a back-water check valve. However, the valve opened while the city storm water drains were full and thus we had a few inches of H20 (dirty). Snaked two drain accesses. Removed debris from the line and inspected the check-valve. All is well now.

+ -1 moreVERY BAD EXPERIENCE. AFTER THE KITCHEN SINK CLOG WAS OPENED, THE KITCHEN SINK STARTED LEAKING INTO THE BASEMENT. I CALLED THE COMPANY BACK AND THE OWNER TOOK 2 DAYS TO GET BACK WITH ME. HE TOLD ME THAT HE WOULD COME AND ASSESS THE SITUATION, BUT HE ACTUALLY SENT THE SAME REPAIRMAN THAT ORIGINALLY CAUSED THE PROBLEM. I WAS TOLD THAT THEY COULD NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE LEAK SINCE MY HOUSE WAS OLD.
Description of Work: OPENED UP A CLOGGED KITCHEN DRAIN.
