Description of Work: Stavros does my annual lawn service, including grass cutting, fertilizer, aerating, seeding, spring mulching, fall cleanup and gutters. They also do winter snow plowing. It is great to have a full service firm that I can count on. They are very responsive and easy to reach for special requests. I think very highly of them.

Description of Work: They picked up our leaves, two large stick piles, cleaned off the roof, and cleaned the gutters. Excellent job, and fast!

Description of Work: Have used them for several years to plow the snow from my driveway. They are always prompt and do a good job.

Description of Work: They graded the drainage ditch in my front yard that had been damaged from the city sanitary sewer install the summer before as well as grading, adding top soil and seeding the area that was dug up from the sewer connection to the house. They showed up and completed the job on time and as promised. I also use them every year for leaf clean up and they always communicate well and do a great job. Would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: I contacted Steve in the spring of last year for a bid on a patio and to have a lawn redone (put in). He came right out, answered all my questions, and had a quote to me within a few days. His team showed up on time, worked very hard to get my patio put in; and this was on one of those very hot days last summer. I think it was more difficult than first discussed because of an existing sidewalk and the use of my own pavers, but they managed to pull it all together and create what I wanted. I am very pleased with their work. Due to the drought and ban on watering my lawn was not put in until October. I was worried about it being too late in the season, but today I have a very lush, green lawn, where I had weeds and rough ground last year. They had to use wheel barrels to bring in six yards or more of top soil. Steve sent a large enough team to get the work done within hours. They were also very accommodating in that once they were here I decided to go ahead with some extra work. Steve's staff were polite and considerate of my property in both jobs. I would recommend them to anyone wanting professional work done on a patio or lawn/landscaping.

Description of Work: I use this company for regular lawn maintenance, snow removal, leaf romal, and small landscaping jobs. I am beginning my third year of service with them. They are timely and keep on a consistent schedule. They do contact me during times of low precipitation to see if I want to skip my mowing that week. I have a very mature yard with lots of ivy and winter creeper and they usually do a nice job of maintaing. I have had an occasion where there was some miscommunIcation about how much ivy I wanted trimmed, but the owner did contact me and apoligize for the confusion and ended up trimming some additional bushes for free of charge due to the error. Overall, I recommend their services and enjoy knowing that my yard is taken care of.

Description of Work: Steve came out to provide an estimate on some transplanting I needed to have done. After listening to me he suggested that I simply have two guys come out and work by the hour doing everything I needed them to do. This worked out great and they worked extremely fast. I was extremely pleased with the results.

Description of Work: This provider of service to a neighbor parked vehicles in a manor that blocked garbage collection and mail delivery to the neighborhood so that neighbors had to carry garbage cans to the end of the street where the garbage truch parked as a result of street blockage by Stavros. Also the motor mail carrier had to park his vehicle and walk to deliver mail. When confronted, the Stavros representative said his mail gets delivered by a walking carrier so no big deal and he was sorry for problem which was unintentional. When asked how it could be unintentional to obviously block the street? the response was I'm sorry. I said I was going to report to Angies List ,this incosideration of others. The response was go ahead we're number one on Angie's List. I can't believe that kind of service gets top rating. If so, Angie's ratings are not what its reputation offers! As a member, I would hope for quality ratings of any category of work. Ray Kocher

Description of Work: Cleaned up a wooded area of the lawn. Removed some bushes and replaced with others. Outlined garden bed and mulched.

Description of Work: I generally have them out two to three times per year to trim bushes, cut down the ivy, mulch and snow removal. Steve, is always easy to work with, very responsive. He almost always attempts to send the same crew so that they understand your individual preferences. Cele and crew are very professional and work to please the client! I have worked with Stavros for the last four years and have been very pleased with them. I previously used Vine and Branch and they where much more expensive and generally less flexible from a scheduling perspective.
