The bid and contract was prepared shortly after the initial contact was made. Karli took pictures and used them to draw out her plan for the work. The bid was prepared with both a best case and worse case as far as cost was concerned. When I called to discuss the project Karli was very helpful and was able to explain the bid and work to be done. Weather delayed the actual work being performed but once started it was completed in one day and it turned out better than expected. The final cost actually came out lower than the bid projected.

Called Stavros based on other Angie's List reviews. Steve came out promptly after my initial phone call to discuss project. Was very intuitive and made appropriate suggestions based on our yard. Found him to be extremely friendly and felt that he really wanted to help us create something special. Had no problems scheduling the work to be done, just a few weeks after our meeting. The crew of 8 men worked the entire 2.5 hours they were here. Once the bedding areas were prepared, Steve and I walked through everything because he wanted me to be pleased with where the plants were to be planted. The guys did a great job cleaning up my yard and the street. I was really happy with everything they did. We plan on having them come out to do the second stage of our landscaping plan next year. As for the cost, we did ask another landscaper for a quote which we never received. Had gotten landscaping quotes for a prior house and felt Stavros was in line with their quote.

They have always done an excellent job. I would highly recommend them. The price is per cut. The price did not go up this year which was surprising, either for lawn cutting or landscaping.

The landscaping was done on-time, was thorough, and detailed. As for the lawn care, they came weekly and again, always did a thorough and detailed job.

The crew was quick and efficient. They were very precise and got all of our leaves without doing any damage of any kind.

Steve did a great job by providing advice what needs to be done, and later by accomplishing the work. He also gave suggestions how to keep the yard in the good shape. General attitude was great. For instance, he stated if additional re-seeding will be needed in the spring, they will do it for free.

They were were nice to work with but their price was the highest we received. Several other contractors came in around 70% of their quote. Due to pricing, we chose a different contractor.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AND I WAS NOT ONLY PLEASED WITH THE PRICE BUT THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK AS WELL.

I like that we have an ongoing dialog with which they are very responsive to.

Great. Called, rep came to home to see what needed to be done, submitted an estimate in a timely fashion, and then multiple trucks and crew arrived on site and completed the project quickly and professionally.

The previous owners of our home had used the area as a compost pile, and we wanted to clean it out because our home inspector had warned it was a potential breeding ground for termites. Stavros came and performed an estimate, and then returned to do the work a couple weeks later. They did a great job cleaning out the area, and bagged and removed all the debris. They also did a good job cleaning up after themselves -- in fact, we didn't even know they had been there until we received the bill and walked back there to check on the area.

Stavros provided gutter cleaning for our 76-year-old two-story home. The work was done on time, and was great. We would use them again.

It was excellent. They were right on time. He had 6 men with him. All of the working very steadily. I was astounded how fast they were able to get the job done. Everybody knew what was expected of them. They got right at it and then left.

Our entire experience with the Stavros team was so pleasant. From the first phone call to completion of the work, every member of the outfit was prompt, pleasant and very professional. They returned my initial call within one day. They had an estimator come out within two days to do a walk around and see exactly what needed to be done. She was so pleasant to work with, she took extra time to educate us on what types of plants we had in our yard, and made many helpful suggestions. Their estimate was very reasonable, and they were able to do the work within less than a week of my initial phone query. On the day of service they were there on time, with a very friendly team of 8 workers. And they did everyting within a few hours. We will certainly continue our professional relationship with this company, they were outstanding!

It was excellent. He is extremely responsive to any issues that come up. He has guaranteed the plants, I strongly recommend him.

The woman who came out did not call in advance to take the measurements and didn't have much discussion about what I wanted done. I think she prejudged me and thought I couldn't afford what they would charge. Too bad. I contracted someone else to do the work.

The lady who came out to discuss what we wanted to do was very professional. She did a very thorough review and discussion of what we wanted and she provided a very detailed estimate with an alternate solution.

Stavros did a fantastic job! Our yard was full of invasive shrubs and junky volunteer trees, and the ground cover beds were totally overgrown with wild violets, creeper, poison ivy, thistle, etc. A nine man crew came in and completely cleaned up the yard, hauling away 3 large truckloads of debris. They worked constantly, and communicated throughout the day about what we'd like done. We hadn't included removal of a small kennel-area fence in the estimate, but Steve, the crew leader, said they could do it. He even let us know we could save money by not having them haul it away, so he broke it up with a bobcat so we could dispose of it ourselves. The best part was that, even with an extra truckload, the final bill was below their low estimate! We were so pleased; we plan on having them help with planning and planting desirable plants, and creating a garden area. Wish we could give them AAA in all categories. Karli and Steve were wonderful to work with, they are lovely people.

They did a beautiful job. They are very efficient and very good. They came when they said they would.

Called them for an estimate on fill dirt and gutter cleaning. Said they would be out the next day for estimate. They never showed up.
