There is no story. I called them up, they came with 7 people and performed the task very well.

Quick, clean, efficient, responsive, reasonable money and thorough.

This company was recommended to us by the previous home owner as well as one of the current neighbors. We researched the company on Angie's list and decided to proceed with them. We contacted Stavros by phone and made an appointment for an estimate. We had someone come out the next day to look at our landscaping needs. We have a large yard with many trees and not much sunlight and house had been vacant before our purchase and it required a lot of TLC, more than we could handle. It took a few weeks back and forth to fine-tune our estimate. Both Karli and Steve were very attentive to our needs, listened to what we wanted and made suggestions and provided options as to what would grow and flourish in our yard conditions. As soon as we were satisfied with the estimate we signed the contract and the work began a few days later. Steve and his crew arrived in the morning and went straight to work until 5 pm. Even in this heat the crew only took one break the entire day for lunch. My husband and I were very impressed with the work and efficiency of the team. Everyone was professional, courteous and very hard working. Steve was on site the entire day, over seeing everyone and working hard himself along side his crew. Steve kept in touch with us throughout the day, making sure that we were happy with the process and how everything looked. We made several requests during the course of the day, in addition to the work listed in our estimate. Steve and his crew followed through with each request, no questions asked. We also made some changes which were completed without question (no sighs, no eye rolling). Karli showed up several times throughout the day to make sure that everything was going as planned and that we were satisfied with everything. The outcome was beyond our expectations. All the large, overgrown bushes were removed entirely, including every single stump. The new bushes and sod that were planted were in great condition, considering the hot, dry spell. Our yard has been entirely transformed. When the work was completed the crew cleaned everything up. They blew the leaves off the entire roof, decks, porches and sidewalks. There wasn't even a spot of dirt left out on the street from the large pile of mulch. Our overall experience with this company was positive and well worth the money. They are very efficient, courteous and professional. We would definitely recommend this company to our family members, friends and colleagues.

They are really great. They are amazing. They are so fast and really thorough. They do a really a good job. They send about 5 guys in these suits that kind of remind me of ET. I just had gotten home and I was going to unlock the gate for them and they had actually taken the gate off the hinges in like 2 seconds; it was amazing. It isn’t a huge lot but they got it done in about 25 minutes. It was the back and front and it was completely free of leaves.

Great work at a good price. I've used Stavros weekly for two months so far. They have done exactly what they were supposed to do every time. No hassles, no mess, nothing broken, trampled, or scratched.

They were on time, friendly, and efficient. I'd certainly use them again.

Fantastic experience! We had no idea what kind of tree we wanted and they were very helpful in offering suggestions based on the location we were putting it on our property. Their communication in the process was great - including helping us contact a free service to look for utility lines in our yard. They also shared with us that they didn't like the look of the first batch of trees they saw at the nursery and wanted to wait a few days on service in order to get us a better product. I knew they were only going to provide the best quality product when I heard that. They came right when they said they would when the tree was ready to be planted and the end product is fantastic. We ended up buying a Cleveland Select Pear Tree because it turns 3 different colors throughout the year. The tree is nice and full and we were shocked how big it was to start out - probably close to 15 feet tall. We were also informed that they grow very fast, so before long it will look just like the older trees in the neighborhood. Would Highly recommend Stavros to anyone in the future.

They are faster than the speed of light I think. He doesn't put up with anything he is right down to the line. They are just wonderful.

I asked for a bid and he said he will mail me the bid. I haven't received the bid yet. He came down and looked at my lawn and he said he will get back and let me know the price.

They use the blower to blow the leaves out and they clean up all of the leaves from the grass. They are very professional. They bill me after it's done and have an easy system. I have the chance to see the work before I have to pay which I like. I will continue to use this company for gutter cleaning. I also used them for lawn work about 3 years ago. I had some well drillers that tore my lawn up. Stavros Lawn Service came with top soil on a big truck and they really corrected all of the spots in my yard that were torn up. They raked it and leveled it and did a good job.

They are punctual, quick, and professional. I have been very satisfied with their service.

They got back with the estimate promptly, then came out several weeks later. I went with them because another company couldn't get here as quickly. There was one corner of the yard that seemed to have gotten neglected, but the rest of it looked good.

Steve Stavros responded promptly to the estimate appointment and helped visualize re-landscaping of my small front yard with stone borders for sidewalk and raised beds. He and his excellent crew came back to do the work and in one day completed the job, ripping out old dead and unwanted bushes in landscape and planting new. They removed dead evergreens and other plants from the existing landscape, saved existing rocks in old landscape and re-positioned these, saved some bricks and reused them. Stayed within budget, kept things clean and simple. My favorite things about this project were Steve's and his crew's professionalism, the fact that Steve understood everything that needed to be done and came on time with all materials, suggested power washing existing sidewalk, which made a big difference with the new stone, and did everything quickly and well. He worked with me to keep the costs down while providing a very pleasing result, and he cheerfully honored the Angie's List coupon. He was also willing to work with me on having some of his crew come back to plant perennials and bulbs and one large shrub which I had purchased. Will certainly use and recommend Stavros in the future. Thanks for a great job!

I do have one question and I do not think I have used these boxes properly, but I wonder how long you are going to leave a complaint like the one is on the website for this company. It is 3 years old, we had a business years ago and I was just curious how long a complaint like that stays on your book. I am quite sure dealing with Steve, he did everything he could, within reason, to help those folks out. He went out of his way to help us out. Some customers you just can't please, I know we had that problem sometimes. :) Just curious. Thanks, Elaine

Arrived when they said, were done in a couple of hours, it looks great.

Overall, it is a great service. I've used him before in the past and every time he does a good job.

The estimator came right out. The work was scheduled and finished in under two weeks. The price was good, and the work was done well.

Crew consisted of Steve (owner) and 7 crew. Job took a little over 5 hours. Arrived on time and worked continuously. Steve both worked and provided close supervision making sure the "good" plants were not ripped out with the bad. Very happy with all aspects of the job and Steve is a smart feller as opposed to a fart smeller.

Stavros met my wife and I for about an hour explaining everything about what he could do and laid out several options. We decided what to do, stavros got his team over same day and executed the plan perfectly. Could not have gone better - great experience and great results.

They are always very good. They are fast. They send a lot of people out to do the work and they all get the work done. Once we accidently wrote him a bad cheque and they were actually very courteous. They did not mind. They were very good about it and my husband was not upset and it was all over. They maintain good relationship. They have been wonderful. They are great. They have been very professional.

This is the nicest company. I totally count on them and they utterly reliable.

It all went very well and to plan. They came when expected and were very professional. The spraying took under an hour and was done on June 10th. They returned on June 13th to complete the job. A small front loader was used to remove the old unwanted grass--this after hand digging around the edges. Fill dirt was added to level out the spaces. Then they put down starter fertilizer and laid the sod. They did a good clean up of the whole area. The crew supervisor instructed me on when and how much to water the new sod. They were done and gone in about three hours. I am very satisfied with the work they did and I plan to contact them again soon for some additional work that I want done.

They gave me a good, fast estimate, and scheduled a date to do the work. However, the huge amount of rain that we had this spring kept them from keeping that date. I would have appreciated a call the night before or early in the morning to reschedule, but I had to call them to see if they were coming. They did call me when the ground dried out, showed up, and did a very fast and efficient job. I did have to put half the price of the job down. I don't know if that is typical for landscapers.

I have used Stavros for years and am always pleased by the results. I trust Steve when he says something needs to be done. His crew does a marvelous job and they are quick and efficient.

As you can see from my mulitiple reports, I use them often and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a beautiful yard.
