My wife and I had just come back from our honeymoon to find one of our toilets was leaking after every flush. We called Steve around 5:30 based off a family recommendation, and he returned our call shortly after and arranged to come out at a time that fit our schedule. When he came out, he took time to really investigate the issue and found there was a crack in the toilet. We were able to get the whole toilet replaced and the work was done in a very timely manner. We have recommended the Starks to anyone who has plumbing problems!

Bob was wonderful and on time. He did everything they said he would. He showed up on time and called when he said he would. Bob was very polite and came when we scheduled the work. He went out of his way to make sure we had the correct parts for the toilet and showed me how to turn my water off for when I leave for the winter. They were reasonably priced.

Wecan't say enough of how impressed we were with Bob Stark and the service we received. He was responsive when making our initial appointment, on time for the appointment and replaced pipes, shut off valves and even hauled away our old water softner for us. His prices were fair and the quickness with which he did the job far exceeded our expectations. Bob is certainly someone we would highly recommend to anyone. We felt he was very straight forward and honest with all he did.

Bob appeared as scheduled, within less than a week of my request. I had purchased a replacement Delta fixture (his suggestion). He removed the 29-year-old original corroded, leaky fixture, replaced it with the new Delta, and informed me of the lifetime warranty, as long as I kept the box and papers. When he was done, about an hour, the area was at least as clean as when he started, the new fixture was firmly installed and leak-free, and the old fixture was removed. Both of the brothers have done work for me, and they're prompt, reasonably-priced, personable, and professional.

As always with the Stark brothers, everything went according to plan. The are always responsive, fair in price, punctual, and very easy to work with. They are completely trustworthy and will give you good advice.

Spoke to Steve on the phone and he was very courteous. I had gotten a couple of quotes and Starks were very reasonable. Steve came out to the house and did a great job, was very friendly and professional. We had him come out a second time for our toilets and, once again, we were very pleased. We would definitely use them again.

Everything went very well. Bob called to schedule a time and arrived promptly. He was neat, courteous, efficient, and competent - in a word, professional. We had purchased a new faucet for the kitchen but Bob recommended repairing the existing unit which he did quite nicely saving us the considerable cost of the new faucet. Bob and Steve have done work for us in the past and we've always been very happy with their efforts. I highly recommend Starks Plumbing Service.

Called before he came out. On time. Was thoughtful to get softener salt for me in case I had not purchased any in advance of plumbing in a new water softener. The soldering to the copper lines was impecable. Instead of coming up with ways to add to costs anytime he could, Steve instead was proactive in saving me money. Am very very ahppy with the work he and his brother did and would use them again in a heartbeat, and recommend him to others.

Bob is an absolute professional, and the quality of his workmanship appears (to my layman eyes) top-notch. I called Stark's (based on their excellent reviews on Angie's List) to examine some poorly-installed, leaky pipes connected to my basement sump pump. Bob ended up completely replacing the piping at my request, and his work looks much more solid than the previous installation --- and I haven't had any leaks since. During the visit, Bob was very good about keeping me informed regarding what he was finding, what he was doing, and what my options were. When a particular type of valve didn't work as well as he expected when he tested the system, he opted to re-do the installation with a different type of valve "off the clock," with no additional labor charge to me. At one point, he stated that he was structuring the piping the way he would if it were his own home --- and that seems to sum up to the approach he took on this job, from start to finish. Could I have had the work done for cheaper? Maybe. But the peace of mind I have from having the work done right, by a professional like Bob, made it well worth it.

WOW! Steve blew my socks off. He was professional from his introduction to the completion of the job. He arrived on time and went straight to work. He wore shoe covers when walking on the carpeted floor as well as placing drop cloths in the hallway to contain the mess. After the repairs, he helped "fine" the source of the water leak in the bathtub; it was the grout that needed to be resealed. I will use Starks Plumbing Service Inc. for future plumbing needs. My house had extremely hard water and no place for a water softener to go. Steve did a great job of connecting the water softener in the garage to the water lines in the house. He was quick to respond to my call for an estimate and very courteous. He is the quintessential professional.

My Water Heater went out. Called Starks afterhours, recevied an immediate call back from the owners, Steve and Bob. They were able to come out quickly and replace the water heater. I was not home for the installation, gave them access without being home. Yes, you can actually do that with this company. Completely Trustworthy! Thanks again!

Bob Starks arrived 5 minutes early and spent some time getting equipment out of his large, clean van. He walked up to the door, neatly dressed, ready to go exactly on time. He took one look at the part and knew exactly what to do. He noted that a new nipple was recommended, a part that he had with him. He kept up a friendly conversation while he worked confidently and efficiently. While I could've taken a shot at this repair, I watched how he knew just when to stop rotating one part and finish with another. It looked simple, but that experienced touch made me feel much better about not ending up with a flood with a high-pressure well tank. 30 minutes later I was all set. Total $59. If you are on the south side of Indy, Bob and his brother are the guys to call. This is the second time they have worked for me and the first experience, four years ago, was similar and has performed flawlessly.

I called Bob Starks the week prior to the service performed when I noticed a dripping faucet in an outdoor water pump. The pump is very old and I had decided to shut it off if the cost seemed necessary. We set a date for the following Thursday after my call but Bob happened to be in my neighborhood two days earlier and said he would take a look at it. I was pleased to find he could make some minor adjustments and it would stop the drip. I was very satisfied with the outcome.

He is efficient, professional, and clean.

Once we find someone good we stick with them. They continue to be awesome. We tell everybody. Everyone agrees. I can't imagine them ever treating anyone bad. Usually if you have a plumbing issue, it is urgent. They are always able to work you in.

Very punctual, good pricing, and very trustworthy. He takes care of everything and he's really dependable.

Called Stark Plumbing because their card was on the water heart. Stark is a two-man business owned by brothers. Steve was on the job when we called. He said to call back and leave a detailed message and he would return the call the next day. He did and then scheduled an appointment for a couple of days later. He arrived checked out the problem and saw that the unit in the wall was frozen up and out dated...very outdated. He said the part was outdated when installed by the builder. He said he would have to order a new part for the unit and scheduled another appointment. The morning of the appointment he called and said he was unable to come because he was having major health problems. He apologized for the timing and made another appointment. He showed up on 4/29 with the new part, installed it quickly, cleaned up the mess and give us an invoice for $165 to cover labor and parts. He did not charge us for his first trip since he was unable to repair the unit. He was pleasant to work with and thorough in his review. He was knowledgeable and professional. We will call him again if the need arises.

My water heater started leaking while we were in Florida. Good thing my son was checking the house for us. I made arrangements with Bob Stark to replace the water heater before we returned from Florida. The job was done on time and well. I have used Stark Plumbing several times and will continue using them. They are efficient, professional and reasonably priced.

Old water heater seemed to be leaking in January plus I knew the pressure regulator had been installed incorrectly by another plumber on the hot water line only and was causing pipes to knock. I called Steve Starks who looked at the old heater. The leaking was minimal but I asked how much it would cost to replace. He verbally quoted $950 including reconfiguring some of the pipes, moving the pressure regulator and installing an access panel. Since I wouldn't have the money to replace it until March or April, he said I could 'baby' it along by turning the temp down and using slightly smaller quantities of water. That worked. Called him in late March to have the work done. He came out to look at the job again so he would have the correct materials and quoted me $1200 at that time. I was a little shocked, told him of the earlier verbal estimate but he said he couldn't do all the work for that. I know I should have gotten a written estimate. I agreed to the higher price because i knew from experience he would do a good job, do it right. When he returned to do the job, he had reconsidered the price, had 3 options for me which he thoroughly discussed. I went with the highest $1080 so that everything could be done at one time. He proceeded with the work, estimating it would take about 3-1/2 hours. He was actually done in 2-1/2 hours! Replaced water heater with a shorter one so I could reach turn-offs on top; replaced main shut off value with one that has a lever so it will be easier for me to reach and turn off; reconfigured the pipes (making everything look neater and saving space); installed new water pressure regulator and moved it to the proper place (eliminating the knocking pipes); installed access panel. Checked all the water lines in the house, thoroughly explained what he had done and where all the shut off valves were in the garage and the house. Cleaned up after himself. No leaks anywhere and you can tell a professional installed everything. Plus he hauled away old heater! This is the 2nd time I've had Steve do plumbing work and I absolutely would not hesitate to call him again or to recommend him to. anyone. I truly trust him to repair only what is needed, to charge fairly, and always do a quality job.

Steve was very knowledgable and professional, showed up on time, did excellent work and cleaned up well when he left. The price was very reasonable and lower than his original estimate. I would definitely recommend and use again!!

I called several people on this problem. Bob was the first to get back with me and even apologized because it took him longer than he likes. I told him my problem and after asking me several questions he told me what he suspected the problem was. He quoted me a price and we set a day for him to come. He was there as promised and was very professional. He covered his shoes, I showed him the problem and he went right to work. He had it all repaired within 45 minutes, did not leave a mess, showed me what he had replaced and charged me less than what he had quoted. I will hire him for all my plumbing needs. A big A+ for Bob in my book. By the way, it wasn't the shower head at all - and Bob told me that. It was a pressure valve.

We have not had to have any plumbing service done lately but have used Starks Brothers in the past. I cannot recommend them highly enough. We have dealt primarily with Bob, who is a consummate gentleman who knows how to run a business and provide exemplary service. If you need a plumber in their area, you cannot do any better than hiring these guys.

Bob arrived on time and completed the job timely and efficiently. I have always been impressed with his work and pleased with his fees.
