Description of Work: Fixed leaky pipes under bathroom vanity. Bob arrived on time and completed the project within 30 minutes.

Description of Work: Called Bob Starks on recommendation of a neighbor, who had never hired him professionally, but knew him socially. Bob came out the same day, to see what my problem was (pipe improperly installed so leaked each time sump pumped). Did not have all parts I needed so was going to rearrange his day, to come back later. I assured him that, as long as the house wasn't going to flood, the repair could wait. Bob installed what he had with him and prepped the crawl space for the rest of the work he would need to do. He came back out about 2 weeks later (we were out of town; not his fault) and completed the repair. This included changing 2 check valves that had been installed in the wrong places when our house was renovated and had been missed by the same plumber on a previous service call! Water was being shuttled back and forth through our pipes. Thanks to Bob, I no longer have the sound of a toilet flushing, every 5 minutes! | |I would absolutely recommed Bob to anyone who needs a plumber.

Description of Work: A 50 gallon gas water heater was installed in a timely manner. I had hot water within 30 minutes after installation. Steve was very professional and accommodating. It was a pleasure having him working in my home. The Starks brothers are 'top-notch'.

Description of Work: Replaced the valves and surrounding box for the water supply to the washing machine. I am very happy with the result.

Description of Work: We had new tile laid in the kitchen and utility/pantry. Needed the water heater and softener, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer disconnected for the tile to be laid. Then all appliances to be reconnected. They were on time, professional and helpful. They assisted my husband in moving the fridge and appliances out to the garage and back in after the tile was finished. Their help was greatly appreciated. They went above and beyond the job we hired them to do.

Description of Work: I called needing someone to excavate a leak in my outside water line. Bob Starks called me back even though he couldn't do it and recommended someone else for the job. Appreciate him taking the time to do that for me.

Description of Work: There were two instances: 1. We had a water leak under our kitchen sink. We called Starks Plumbing and they came out within 2 days. They found that the garbage disposal had been improperly installed during a kitchen remodel and they properly installed it. They also replaced corroded pipes above the water softener. Looks great. Now, no leaks in kitchen. Very prompt, friendly, professional and reasonable. 2. We had a a water leak in the basement one week and a week later. Carpet was wet but no evidence of where water was coming from. Called Starks on a Saturday and they were booked up for several days but Mr. Starks was in the neighborhood. He said he would stop by to diagnose the problem but did not have time to fix it. He came by within 30 minutes and found the problem within 20 minutes and fixed it (clogged drain where water softener drains). The price charged was more than reasonable.

Description of Work: Kitchen sink would not drain properly. Water would back up when released or come up into the other double sink. Called Bob Stark's Plumbing and he responded the same day. He worked for over an hour with a snake trying to unplug the drain. After spending all this time, he determined that it was definitely the drain being plugged up but his equipment would not reach far enough to clear it. He recommended and made the call to another company that had bigger equipment and they came the same day. Because he didn't fix the problem, Stark did not charge me. He was very professional and helpful and resulted in my getting a company who had the necessary equipment to correct the problem. The company he recommended worked for a couple of hours until they were finally able to clear the problem and only charged my $150.00. I was very pleased with the experience of having two professional companies who fixed my problem at a reasonable price. I would call either of these companies for another problem.
