He furnished the new fixtures and installed them. He was a very nice man. He came back a second time and fixed my toilet for me. He didn't charge me anything, so that was very nice! I will use them again in the future.

Bob Stark was very professional and punctual and did a fine job of installing the new water heater. (We had also used him prior to this service for a small repair job on a bathroom faucet, which he performed in an excellent manner.) We would definitely call Bob for any further plumbing needs.

Went very well, came within 2 days of calling him,was very professional,covered shoes when came into house.We had some questions on plumbing and he gave us some good information. Also gave us advice on how to keep drains running smoothly. Will call him again for any plumbing needs.

Bob was very professional, on time and did a fantastic job. He did not charge for the heater element as it was covered under the warranty. We only had to pay for labor. He treated my wife with courtesy and respect (she was the only one home when the repairs were being done). He wore shoe covers inside the house and arrived on time when he said he would. Total repair time took approximately one hour. He also provided us with a quote for a water softener and recommended a competitor to get a quote from. He was honest and said the competitor did a great job, provided quality work, and that he wouldn't hesitate to use them if needed. That alone says a lot about this company and individual. I won't use anyone else for my plumbing needs. He also gave a 10% discount for Angie's List Members.

We?ve had them out several times. You can trust what they say. They do what they tell you they will do. I will continue to use them in the future.

As a first time homeowner I have never had to hire a plumber before. Luckily, I had heard about Starks Plumbing Service previously and checked their excellent rating on Angie's List. I am on the South Side of town and it was nice knowing that I could find a reputable plumber in my area. I called and left a message and Bob called me back within minutes! I did not have an major leaks and had some plans for the day and told Bob to let me know when he was available and he can come out to the house. He was here when he said he would be and worked quickly to replace the split pipe. There was no mess anywhere, you would have never known I had someone to do repair work in my home! I am so impressed with his work and I would recommend Starks Plumbing Service to anyone in need of any plumbing work! If I could rate Starks Plumbing Service higher than an "A" I would!

It was a great experience. My called requesting an estimate was returned within a couple of day and he showed up exactly on time. The estimate was about $100 dollars less than a handyman service i contacted. He had a couple of suggestions I hadn't thought about when placing the sink. The service was scheduled in the next week. Showed up on time, did a really nice job.

He was great. I felt comfortable having him in my house; the job was perfect; I don't anticipate any problems in the future, but I will certainly call him if I need a plumber. The price was 1/2 of what another plumber has given me for the same job. This is a small company, no advertising, just good business.

We have used them several times in the past prior to becoming a member of Angie's List. Every time we have worked with them they are prompt, professional, courteous. They will tell you when they can be there, and they honor their word. About three years ago during heavy rain, our basement had water in it due to sump pump failure. I called after 5:00 PM, and they made an effort to come out that night to start the process of drying out our basement. Their prices are very reasonable and their service is great. I highly recommend them to anyone.

They were very, very good. The guy came in, looked all over our house and couldn't find the problem. He said "I cannot find this problem, you need to check with the water softener people" and he didn't even charge us because he couldn't find the problem. I called up the water softener people, the guy came right away and he said "yes, it is our problem; you should have called us first". It happened when we flush one of our two toilets and that was the only time it happened. We just couldn't figure out and then it just started happening like one day. It hadn't happen before and we didn't have a leak so we just couldn't figure out where our water pressure was going. That was in the summer time and it was in November before finally I said there is something not right here so we called Starks Plumbing Services. He was here probably for 45 minutes, he went under the house in the crawlspace and did everything but he couldn't find anything and didn't charge us anything. While he was here he fixed a leak in the faucet and the sink and he wouldn't even let me pay him for that. He was very good, excellent. He came right away, he said he was pretty well booked but he had another job in this area and he is a local guy down here so he came out that Friday. He called me on his way which is always important to us because we've a couple of dogs and we like to put them up so they don't bother people. Then we found out that he is one of my best friend's neighbors down the road. He was very good and very clean. I would definitely hire him again.

Service was quick and good. Their prices were competitive and I would use them again.

Owner showed up on time, completed what I needed done in an hour, at a very reasonable price.

He was very efficient and I was happy with the service. The price charged by him was reasonable.

I called Thursday morning and they were able to come out first thing the very next day. Very professional and pleasant to work with. I was quite surprised with the pricing (quite reasonable) which included the trip charge. This is the first time we've used Starks Plumbing but it will not be the last. I've already recommended them to others I work with.

When I first called Stark and explained the problem (cold water running poorly/hot water ok), he told me I could repair the problem myself and explained what I needed to do. When I broke the part trying to pull it out of the faucet I called him back and he agreed to rescue me. He came out promptly and fixed both of my tub/shower faucets. It turned out both cold water lines were full of gravel an had probably never been flushed out from when the house was built only 5 years ago. Anyway, I couldn't believe a plumber would charge less than $200 for any work, and Bob Stark even tried helping me do it myself. Stark is my plumber from now on.

They don?t look like plumbers and they look like they have come for a casual business meeting. It is two brothers who work for themselves. They are just nice and very clean cut. They are on time and I would recommend them to anybody. I liked that they are small. I would continue to use them in future.

He was prompt, courteous and very neat. Very satisfied with his appearance, attitude and workmanship.

My call was answered by Bob at 8:30am, said he was at a job and would be on his way after that. Work was completed by 10:30am. He did a great job, explained everything, and was professional. Got estimates on other work; will definately hire again!

I have had a good experience working with them. They have reasonable prices for their work. With the toilet installation the work was only about a hundred dollars and I purchased the toilet through them. I think that they are A's all down the line.

They are great to do business with. They are professional and I do not have to worry about them coming into my home. Actually, there is only one time where I have called them and they told me they were so backed up. They gave me the name of a competitor and said that I would like them and that they were very good.

It all went excellently. It was obvious that the technician was trying to do a good job, while keeping our costs at a minmum. He was professional and friendly and cleaned up after his work. One would never know he had been here, except for the fact that things were fixed.

Leaks in all but kitchen faucet fixed in short order. Handles to kitchen faucet were all corroded inside, apparently due to long-time internal leaks that we had not noticed. Bob Starks, owner and plumber on our job, could not get the handles loose without tearing them up, so we decided to get a new faucet. He okayed it with one of his plumbing supply wholesalers to let us pick out the new faucet and buy it at his discounted price. He then proceded to install the new faucet with no additional difficulties.

Came to the house, did the diagnosis and actually recomended we try a very simple inexpensive fix, compared to going directly to the $300 (approx) fix. Impressive

Steve arrived on time, wore shoe covers, was very cordial, and immediately started to work. He was very efficient and professional and cleaned up after himself.

We had a leak that had demonstrated itself on the first floor which had started from a bathtub on the 2nd floor. Steve came in carefully looked at all possibilities, took what he could apart to assure there were no other problems, correctly identified the problem, and quickly replaced and fixed the problem, a tub drain sitting at an angle with a worn out seal. He was professional, quick, clean, polite, and charged a very fair price, adding the discount after completing the job. I've used 3 plumbers in the last 2 years and I now have my official plumber which I will use for all future jobs.
